This place you never know when your able to place orders half the time you order they say sorry we arnt doing orders or food and it's only 9 pm or when you do a online order and you get there they say sorry it's just one person on shift and they ain't cooking anything and you loose money. My husband and I went to Jack. In the box Saturday, around 10 o'clock in the morning to get something to 8 and my husband needed to wash his hands because the Jack in the box on 1st street was so filthy. Dirty the tables, the chairs everything and the men's bathroom was locked. So he, after I got done in the womans bathroom, went in to wash his hands. There was no other person in the women's bathroom. And he was aware that. One of the gal workers was working 1 was not and yelled and screamed and scolded my husband he can't walk in the women's bathroom. And he tried to tell them that he was washing his hands and he knew that no one was in there because I had just walked out and they verbally cussed screamed, yelled at him and asked him if he was a female and told him he was a bunch of b******* and were screaming and telling him he can't walk in the women's bathroom. He tried to tell them that the men's bathroom was locked. And all he wanted to do was wash his hands and the 2 gals. One is a worker there, but was off duty and they had tattoos all over their body and hairy pits like a man, and she had the nerve to scream and yell at my husband and ask him if he was a female and we were afraid. That she was escalating so much that she was going to attack us with either a knife or a gun so we left. Never going there again ever. We were harassed and screamed at and cussed at. HANDS DOWN, One of the most UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, DISGUSTING, experiences I have EVER had. I ordered a #5 ( large), a garden salad, and an order of onion rings. The total came to $27 and some change. I gave the homely lady $30.00. When she came to bring me my change, I told her to keep it. She handed me a bag and I said "thank you". She said you're welcome. Never said "thank you" to me...which is a standard business practice ( thank your customers for spending their hard earned $ at your place of business.) But ok, not a big deal, right? So, I pull away from the windows and look at my order...I immediately got back in line because it is 1:00 or so a.m. and the doors are closed. The salad looked like someone's left overs...not exaggerating at all! It was BAD, with brown, wilted lettuce and not to mention didn't even fill the container ( not that I would want it to!) It honestly looked like someone had ate half of a salad they got yesterday and then threw the rest in the trash and then an employee dug it out of the trash and sold it to me! ( I will try to post the pics I took on here). I also never got the drink I ordered with the #5. Anyway, I FINALLY get to the speaker board and the homely lady says "order when your ready" and I told her" I already did and "I don't want this salad". She says ,"ok". And that's it. Not "I'm sorry, is there a problem ?", not "is there something else I can replace it with?", I'm sorry the rest of your $30.00 order is now cold , etc., etc., you know the typical things businesses who APPRECIATE their customers say and do. No, after finally getting back to the windows again, miss Trenchabowl says " all our salads look like that". I said "ummm, no that's not true I've gotten them here before and they didn't look like that". "Iwho's the manager here" I asked She just glares at me and finally says "her name is ashley" I said ok thanks. "Do you want to make this right or not?" She takes the salad back to some other equally unappreciative employee who also forgets why he has a job, and he says he "sees nothing wrong with it". He finally asks if I want something else. I said we'll, I guess I'll get another #5. He said ok, you'll have to pull around to the front and wait". I was polite and said" ok, thank you". By this time I have ( not kidding ) been here an hour! My other food is cold, but I choose to rise above it and STILL try to be nice to idiots who don't appreciate or deserve it! There were two other vehicles waiting...one was there before me and one got there after me. Those vehicles had been gone at least 5 minutes before the homely lady with the homely baditude finally came out with a homely smirk on her homely face and said "here's your # 5 SANDWHICH ! She certainly didn't give me my tip back though! By this time I had been there well beyond an hour!!! These lame, unappreciative, unintelligent, classless, rude, employees are making you look BAD JITB!!! Eent to Jack in the Box tonight and they asked me to pull around and they would bring my food out. When I refused cuz no cars were behind the manager came to the window and was very rude. Said to lull around and I said no need to because nobody behind me. She gave us pur money back in cash. They want you to do that cuz they are timed on service from time you order until you pull away from the window. I worked food service most of my life and would have never done that. Disgusting. Witnessed a manager in a red shirt grab food w her bare hands!! Then she was touching the trash and boxes of food. When she noticed I was watching she put gloves on. Then I heard her tell a cook a heavy set guy that "it doesn't matter it gets fried" when you work in food service you'd think as a manger you wouldn't take too lightly that your hands are dirty. Also I bet money she wouldn't feed it to her own family. I won't be coming back n advise everyone to avoid places w this mentality. We went through the drive thru on a road trip. Repeated twice, to be very clear, my husband did not want pickles or mayo and they gave him a burger with both. I ordered a ridiculously giant breakfast sandwich. A small animal farm was sacrificed to make my sandwich. There was bacon, ham, 2 eggs, and 2 slices of cheese on a hamburger bun. This place needs some serious help and fast. Seems like they just can't get everyone to do the jobs they were trained for. First our order was cold, the burger patties were so over cooked they were like hockey pucks. Our fries were old and just eeeew. They forgot my child's fries and milk. Ordering was a disaster. Took up like 30 minutes just for the guy behind the counter to get our order in the machine. When we went to the counter it took 10 minutes before I walked away cause no one helped me. The lobby was dirt and trashes overflowing and trash on tables. Tables not cleaned off and so many homeless sitting around just staring at people eating and causing ruckus in the lobby to the point my youngest was scared to even go potty. To be honest this place needs a serious fixing before I will even think about going back. And heads up if you have an issue and report it... Horrible! I always use the restroom before eating. They wanted you to pay for food first! I have eaten at other Jack in boxes, but this one needs to close as they ruin the company's reputation which isn't very good to begin with. We were traveling and needed to use the restroom badly. Yakima was full of rough looking people and had bars on most windows. I'll never stop in Yakima again and I'm done with Jack in the box. Stop in Ellensburg instead! read more

This morning, we stopped by this Jack in the Box, and I wish we would have stopped at ours in Sunnyside. First of all, they gave my husband the wrong order, then when they fixed mine, I didn't get a croisant roll, but a hamburger bun than was very yeasty, and their was a hard cooked egg, with one half piece bacon. Their was enough grease on the potatoe cakes to fry several more in it. I had to degrease myself and my console when I got home. The coffee hadn't seen warm since early this morning, and the service couldn't seem to understand the order, since we got the wrong order.His sandwich was terrible and I just don't know how you can stay in business like that. read more
