They could improve on all levels! Stopped here on the way out of town and this is definitely not a customer service driven environment. Very rude drive thru personnel and if you want any breakfast with no meat you still have to pay for the meat since they don't discount or offer a meatless sandwich. When we head out west, we make it a point to stop in at a Jack in the Box---usually the first one we come across. During our most recent trip, this one in Winnie, TX was the first one. We had stopped in over 10 years ago and enjoyed the food we had. So...we expected that would be the case once again. Wrong! For us, it's all about their tacos. Yeah, I admit when their tacos are properly made, I enjoy having them. But...something was very wrong here this time. The tacos only had meat in them---no cheese, hot sauce or lettuce. On top of that, they tasted horrible. If you are on 1-10 going through Winnie, TX and crave Jack in the Box, don't stop here. Keep going until you find another one. read more

I've never tried a Jack in the Box before and based on this experience I won't try another. My order was taken quickly enough however actually receiving the order was another hassle altogether. Ordered at 1:38 pm after standing at an empty counter for nearly 7 minutes. I was given the choice of curly fries or regular I chose the curly fries to then be told that they are out of curly fries! It's now 1:54pm and I've just received my order from the woman who was mopping the floors. I was the only person in here during this time. The level of service or should I say the lack of service is truly pathetic! My burger is cold the cheese will not even melt the patty is tasteless! I should have gone to the Whattabuger instead. read more

At 7:50pm tonight The two workers denied service to my family and friend because they would rather have a small group in one car go around the drive thru twice to get in 3 orders when there was NO ONE in line NOR inside. We were trying to make a quick trip but the workers hid behind a 2-order-only-drive thru policy and we asked to make an exception because we were the only ones in line and NOBODY inside eating. They didn't allow it and said we can go inside instead or go back in line a second time. We didn't see the point of wasting time going around twice (with nobody in line still) and questioned the policy again and that's when she said if you can't cooperate then we don't have to serve you. She said that twice after we were baffled and then the second associate just jumped in and said "you aren't being served , you can leave thank you" read more

I don't usually write reviews about fast food because you kind of get what you pay for.. but it really irritates me when they let a place be entirely run by rude teenagers who don't know how to work there. They got my order wrong twice and instead of staying focused on providing me with my right order, I waited through 30 minutes of horseplay. I didn't see one adult or manager around. It made me angry enough that I considered contacting corporate headquarters but again... it's fast food. read more

I tired to order a #26 was told in broken English sorry no bread, tired to order 2 other things, sorry no bread or tortillas. Finally order and they put it on a hamburger bun. Half of what they have on the menu is out or don't have it and don't speak clear enough English to communicate between the customers. read more

This location would likely be just as effective as a vacant building. Been waiting 20 mins for a breakfast burrito combo and an ultimate breakfast sandwich combo and 2 coffees. 3 people waiting for food... about 10 cars in the drive thru... they totally forgot about us inside and out all forces towards working the drive thru. 1 guy standing in the back drinking a coke. I think some customer service training may be in order for this location and perhaps some training on how to get out of the weeds. read more

DG and myself in this evening after the Winnie rodeo and our Hampton Inn just across parking lot. I have never been in this chain prior. We both had 2 Monster Tacos and a soda drink. Drove through on April 27th @ 11:30 pm, no one at the drive through, no one taking orders. Just shut down while 5 vehicles drove through without ordering. The ONE employee they have had to go and get his brother to help him, the owners refuse to pull employees from other stores to help this poor guy and he's only making minimum wage!!
