Rude employee's. I went in last night at 955. Half way through taking my order the screen went dark as did the lights. I checked their door, Yelp, as well as their website and both said they didn't close until midnight or later. I went and knocked on the door and a very rude woman in a red shirt (the only one in that color so I assume it was management) said they close at 10. I explained none of the materials showing their open times said that and she just shrugged and said " I don't know what to tell you!" Turned and walked off. They had no other cars after us, the dine in didn't look busy, but they had us waiting for maybe 10 minutes in the parking lot. You'd think after waiting that long that the order would be correct. My chicken sandwich wasn't even fully cooked and the sauced and loaded mini birria tacos weren't even right. Called the store and was told I had to fill out the online form. What has happened here? They are disorganized, slow, and just not "on it" tonight. I've been coming here for at least 25 years, as it's a convenient stop when heading up the 101. Dear Hubby got napkins and watered them down to clean one for us while I was trying to get the attention of the cashier. He was trying to take care of both the lobby and the drive-thru, so didn't have time to hear about the need for the dining room to be bused / cleaned. Unfortunately, the tortilla was clearly old, and when it was used to wrap my daughter's burrito, it tore in half, making it impossible for her to enjoy. The sausage burrito I ordered had mostly eggs and bacon with just a small sliver of sausage. I thought I'd check the food and noticed the egg was tough and rubbery - almost inedible. It seemed like they gave me the leftover egg from the morning. If you don't have fresh ingredients, you should let customers know in advance. I'm really disappointed, especially since I spent $30, and even the famous Jack tacos I got for my son were terrible. I'm horrified. Overall it looks pretty clean the parking lot is hard to get into sometimes as it is located on the corner of Hope and state and you have freaking Chick-fil-A with their line of 20 idiots waiting at the drive-thru when they can just walk inside and it helped right away. The girl up front which I believe is the manager super speedy and very nice. Among all the fast food joints here in upper state. This has by far the rudest drive through attendant. I'm aware it's a stressing job. I'm aware you get disgruntled customers. I was neither of those and I was subjected to a crass dialog. And it likely always tastes the exact same as the last Jack you went to at midnight (delish). Added benefit: It will help you recover, while you sleep, from that hangover you would have had. Staff here have always been prompt and friendly while I've dropped by. Specific orders are followed about 95% of the time (ie: no bacon and extra lettuce and tomato). As for eating inside, I've never gone that far. This location is really puny and the cleanliness seems to be lacking, even when viewed from the comfort of my car as I cruise through the drive-thru lane. But that could also be due to age.
