I respect jack in the box employees so much because l am admittedly a chronic ordered past 12am. I also work fast food and have worked until 11pm since 16, and cannot imagine working past that. Jack in the box employees always complete my order perfectly and you have to admit that's cause for a good review when I'm leaving this review after ordering after 2am. To any jack in the box worker that has worked this shift I apologize, as i tend to order online, and it doesn't appear to let me tip the people making the food, only the deliverer as far as I know. But I will try to come through the drive through and when I do I will tip as generously as I can. read more

I crave my sourdough Jack burgers certain times of the month, if ya feel me ladies - hollllleeeerrrrr! Recently with their new food truck series menu, I've been craving it weekly. I've switched over to the juicy pork belly BLT. I hope "Jack" keeps it on the menu indefinitely. Most times I utilize the drive-thru (not that it's a hobo-magnet, the space is too small), Polo the manager is friendly and fast. He gets my orders right and off I go. After reading all of the consist 1 star reviews below, I can only assume I got lucky and came on an off day, because my experience was actually quite pleasant! I placed my order through the Jack In the Box app, and walked the 6 blocks or so down to this location. Upon arriving at the counter, my order was already ready and waiting for me. They apparently have a history of getting orders wrong, because they manager even made sure to check to make sure my order was correct, and that I had some condiments and napkins. Upon digging my food out of the bag, everything was exactly as I ordered. And all the food was both hot and delicious (something that ironically is rather inconsistent from one Jack In the Box location to another). I rarely ever come down to San Rafael, but if I do happen to find myself here again and I decide to do a cheat day, I will probably come back to this Jack In the Crac...erm..Box :) read more

They need to re-staff the whole roster! 1st, I couldn't understand what they were saying in the intercom, and when I got my order, they got 1 order wrong and when I opened my sourdough jack, it looked like they stepped on it after they put it together. As for the order that they got wrong, I ordered the double jumbo jack meal and only got a single jack. At the same time, the presentation of the burgers were just poorly assembled. The sourdough jack was missing the tomato and the cheese on both weren't even slightly melted. When I order at Jack in the Box, I always ask for a Jumbo Jack, and always request one of their little boxes of honey mustard. Once every three visits, I also purchase curly fries, onion rings, or a box of stuffed jalapeno peppers. The servers are always attentive, and my order is always correctly taken. Sometimes, I order two Jumbo Jacks. Last week, at the San Raphael location, the sound system was playing salsa music. To the server I said, "Hey, they are playing Santana! I went to one of Santana's concerts when I was in high school ! They played OYE COMO VA !" My goal was to shock the server with the fact that I knew about Carlos Santana and his music. The server seemed pleased with my remark. After a few minutes, my order of two Jumbo Jacks plus one box of stuffed jalapenos arrived. The server then asked, "Is there anything else that you need?" I was again craving my elusive Taqueria San Jose and for some odd reason they were closed, again. Finding almost nothing open on New Years day, the growl in my belly quickly resolved me to fast food, and there's only one place around here open that late...Jack In The Box. I wanted to get some of their tacos but they were relatively expensive for this location, so instead I went with a few of their specials. I wound up getting 2 chicken sandwiches and 1 each of the sausage and ham and bacon croissant breakfast sandwiches. While they may not make it till you order it, it sure tastes like it's just all nuked together because it comes out piping hot. While not the healthiest thing in the world it certainly calms the cravings and does the trick on a dime. Even though the location is pretty dirty and the amigos behind the counter were crazy rude, I still come back to this place in the dead of the night. Perhaps because it's the only thing around or maybe because it's something in their oil, but when I have to choose between here and McD's, there's no contest. I ordered a breakfast burrito meal and the burrito was made fresh like the eggs was cooked all the way the meat was cooked all the way the cheese was MELTED ! Like omg Mouth watering !!!! My hash browns was perfectlit crispy and fresh out the grease ! I love Jack in the Box, but my goodness this one is horrible! We went inside, waited about 10 minutes while the employees completely ignored us. The manager (I guess? Not really managing anything though...) was too busy flirting it up in the back. The employees kept taking drive through order after drive through order even though they knew we were there. Also they are supposed to be a 24 hour drive through but there has been multiple occasions where I went around 2-3 AM after work because I assume they're the only place open and they're just closed & an employee says "we're closed" & just ignores me. It was my first visit to Jack in the Box ever and I was quite pleased with my meal. I tried the Buttery Jack, I feel if it's the #1 item listed on the menu it must be there go to sandwich since I've never been before. It was a very tasty burger but I really enjoyed the bun that they use for the burger. I also substituted for curly fries which is a small up-charge. The seasoned curly fries were very good. After my meal I wasn't quite full, they have different sizes for their meals so I would suggest getting a larger size if you tend to eat more. All in all I was pleased with this fast food place and would go again. read more

We drove up to the drive thru in our truck and sat at the intercom for an entire 10 minutes and was never acknowledged, we even yelled "hello??" into the intercom 3 times. Finally decided to just go up to the window to place our order. We pulled up to the window and legit sat there for over another 5 minutes while the guy inside just stared at us and was helping the car behind us through the intercom. We're waving at him to get his attention and lightly honking the horn and still he just stares. Finally he makes a move to open up the window but then pauses to help the next car behind the one behind us?!? So finally 3 minutes later he opened up the window and we asked for a manager. That took another couple of minutes while the kitchen staff was talking and laughing, not caring about us sitting there. Finally the manager comes up and doesn't even give us a chance to tell him the issue before he starts to place blame on us and said our truck was too big for the sensors to pick up (?????) literally never heard of or had that problem in my life. We're still trying to tell him the issue about us sitting in plain view of the worker and him not saying anything to us and the manager says we are interrupting him. I finally had to raise my voice and say he's not letting me explain the issue for him to give us a better explanation. Hear our complaint before trying to blame your "new" kitchen staff. As I am curled up in a ball on my bed, unable to to anything but stare with dead eyes at my computer screen, I can't help but realize that this is all my fault. Granted, no, I did not choose to go to Jack in the Box. I truly did not. And, it is a fact, an absolute FACT, that I ordered a strawberry-banana smoothie and declined food. But, who was I kidding? Dude I was with ordered like 6 tacos and some spicy chicken bite thingies...I knew I'd be indulging with him later. Put junk food in front of me - especially when I'm wasted, and there's really no turning back. So, from my first bite of that evil little taco, I knew what was gonna happen. I'd had copious amounts of alcohol all night long. Combine that with Jack in the Box's particularly disgusting and greasy food, and bad things will inevitably happen. They may not happen right away....but you can FEEL them cooking up in the pit of your stomach. Always. After eating the taco, I went to work on a few of those spicy chicken bites. That's just like throwing a match into a puddle of gasoline, really. Throughout the night, I kept waking up, wondering why it felt as if a giant motherfucking dragon was breathing fire on my stomach walls. Let it be said that Jack in the Box is probably one of the most natural forms of anal lubricant that there is, however. For that, I admit, I am grateful. Sometimes things that are so bad just feel so good. Bring on the BBQ sauce bitches and hand me my curly fries. I think I could put bar-b-que sauce on pretty much anything, except for cereal, but I don't like cereal anyway. Being open late with the drive through, Jack in the Box has served me well for many years. Serving up that crappy disgustingly greasy food that I so crave, and only give into every once and a while. Gotta be careful though as to how much I eat there, considering it just sticks to my ass like white on rice. I love to see how many accents we can order our food in. It's like traveling around the world while still in line for cheesy stuffed jalapenos. Crack in the Box is just that, crack. You do it and love it while you're doing it, but then afterward, the comedown just isn't too pleasant. Not like I've done crack or anything, but still, it's how I'd imagine it......... In doing the survey below, I almost want to check the box that they serve alcohol, considering my trips there pretty much always include being intoxicated. They might as well just serve it there and help me out by not having to make a trip to the bar. Now that would be full service. But it does keep you from understanding what is going on in the rest of the world.
