I just came to this Jack-in-the-Box on Sunday, January 11 at around 8:30 PM. The receipt says Brian, but it was a young girl taking our order. my dad was ordering through the drive-thru and when we were done ordering, she said "does everything look correct?" we are a large group it definitely would take one minute to look over the order but then two seconds later said "yes, no maybe so?" in a very rude tone. She was very rude and extremely disrespectful. corrective action needs to be taken on this employee. read more

This is a good Jack in the Box locations. Everyone is very nice and the place is always clean. Food is delicious and I think they make the best tacos out of any other location. I would recommend to always place your order through the app or website, because it gets busy due to being right next to SDSU and you don't have to wait in line. Terrible service. The woman who was running drive thru windows that was supposedly a manager was incredulously rude. Now, im a manager in the service industry too so I absolutely DETEST leaving remarks like this. But this time it was warranted. If your company cant make certain modifications you let the customer know in a professional manner. You dont RUSH the customers. Your tone was completely lack luster and left the feeling like tou don't like your job. I get that its Saturday and so things are busy and it can get stressful. Rude manager So tonight my boyfriend and I came to get food . This employee was extremely annoyed with his us / job or just maybe shouldn't work with the public . We asked for extra sauce ( we know have to pay the 25¢ ) we ask for three more . He told he can't give us anymore , then we proceeded to tell him we had the money to buy them . He then "well what do you want " didn't even think about politely asking. I asked him for his name he said "why" and didn't want to give it to me . If you value your health during this time of COVID, I would highly recommend avoiding this location. I ordered at the drive-thru, only to arrive at the window and see one of the employees inside with her mask down at her chin, talking into her phone by the check-out counter. Without washing her hands, she grabs another pair of gloves and puts them on (mask STILL down at her chin). I was so surprised, I had to take a photo just to make sure I was sure of what I saw. She then grabbed a headset, put it on her head, and brushed back her hair with her gloved hand. Afterward, she brought my bag of food, grabbed a few tubs of ranch dressing, and put them into my bag. I wanted to throw up. I got home, dumped my soda into the bushes, and threw my food away into the outside trash can. Risk my health for $7? No thanks. I have gotten so much money stolen from this location specifically. I should have checked my bag every time.... Things I ordered were NOT in the bag even after I asked them to double check. the only good worker is DANY. the manager MARIA came up to the window & took out sauces I asked for!!!!! This is one of the better Jboxes. The AC was really good on a hot day. My double cheddar burger was tasty but weighed me down. The strawberry shake was good but expensive for the small size. Service was good. The location is very convenient near the SDSU Union. Recommended.. read more

I bought boba from this place and it was the worst I've ever had. They take no pride in their work and it shows completely. The boba is served rock solid and the coffee is old and reused as I had seen. I ordered some value fries on a Sunday morning and while I was eating them in the lobby a man with slacks and a dress shirt came in and politely asked to use the restroom. Standard JITB fare, no complaints. But my only suggestion to improve service to the area this location serves is a walk up window for after the dining room is closed. I was in drive thru one night, dining room was already closed. A student from SDSU (dorms across the street) couldn't get food because walk in was closed and you must be in car for drive through. I let him in my car, he ordered , got his food and got out at end of driveway. Makes no sense for a student living in dorm literally across the street to get in car for fast food. Food is decent, plenty of parking, service is friendly, I have never had to wait too long for the food (I think its a short wait for the quality of food you are getting, you would be waiting 2/3 times as long for the same thing from a Denny's). I see a lot of complaints in the comment section. I eat at home most of the time, I reserve fast food for when I am traveling, want something specific (like a milk shake) and I do not have the ingredients or something on the level of "grabbing something out of the fridge".
