Today was the day I gave this location another try. It was a mistake. 2 tacos, Grande Sausage Burrito Combo and cheesecake. The best part? The cheesecake and I doubt it's not made by Jack in the Box. The tacos were just blah. The Burrito Combo, plain and not much flavor at all. Seasoning goes a long way. Jack in the Box should learn from it. Worse Jack in the Box around. Every time I go, whoever is working drive thru is always rude and sounds like customers are inconveniencing them. Employees need to be retrained in customer service and attitude. They never tell you what your total is until you get to the window. Then they ask you to pull up front, behind several other cars, and they bring it out to you. Its not a convenient lot to get in and out of. read more

I've been going to this location for years and the foods been pretty darned good. Last night, I ordered the Snoop Doggy Dogg Munchie Meal, at a whopping $15.08. Now, I think fast food restuarants are getting pretty bold with their prices, and having celebrity sponsorship is making matters worse, but this is Snoop, so I said "what the hell?". This meal comes with the usual curly/natty cut fry mix, one taco (instead of two), a brownie to replace the other taco, and a spicy chicky Sammy served in a hotdog bun with hungry man chili on top. I'm guessing that's what was on top. The sandwich was actually amazing and made me feel a little less guilty about being rammed in the keister with the pricing. The brownie though? It was God awful. I won't let that reflect my image of the location, but I spit the brownie back in its bag and threw it away. Plus, it didn't even get me high like it was advertised. If it at least gave me a little buzz, there would be much less fuss about it. Overall, the meal hit the spot and again, the sandwich was pretty freaking gas. I like it cheap, (because I'm broke) and easy (because I'm lazy) so drive thru revs my engines (because I can't drive, what?!) Plus, I'm nearly a year into a new stricter eating mision, so I never get any fast food, making it seem more special than it necessarily has to be. Take all of that into consideration, then, when I say this was the worst Jack In The Box I've ever eaten. My standards are low low low, and the food was paid free-to-me, so it had to be sad for me to say that. First, not what I ordered. Then, the large soda was crazy over filled and foamy, so it spilled all over me just standing still (a three napkin mountain couldn't curb the eruption). The curly fries were the most disheartening part. *sigh* It's actually hard to make all the curly fries soggy, but they managed it. They were actually yellow with extra oil, and had the consistency of chicken salad, hot and congealed in the box. And the Jumbo Jack, argubly the "signature sandwich", was just . . . What a shame. Burnt bun, burnt meat, burnt cheese. Mealy tomato, dirty flavorless lettuce, condiments every which way. I honestly wish we'd gotten something from the gas station instead. It would have been fresher, and prepared with more care. It was just that far from grace. What a shame. It was just supposed to be a little treat to make the laundry mat a little jolly. The woman working the drive through at 3:36 pm on 12/20/2020 was a real piece of work. -We ordered a come with no ice. It came with ice. She also knocked the top of our soda on the drive thru window plexiglass, spilling soda everywhere. -We politely asked 3 times for napkins to clean up our car and never got any. She got some to clean her window, though. -Our fries came cold and stale. -We ordered a #4 with no lettuce. It came with lettuce. -We had to ask for extra mayonnaise packets six times before she handed us a handful of hot sauce. When we again asked, "Can we get some mayonnaise packets too?" She rolled her eyes, walked away, and handed us one packet. -Her mask didn't cover her nose, which means she must have a cool party trick where she sneezes out of her chin. -They took so long at the window that the car BEHIND us in the drive thru started YELLING at us to go. We were still waiting for half our order at that point... -My chicken sandwich was smashed, small, stale, and soggy like it had been reheated poorly. -We brought a burger home to a family member, who did not know of our experience with the staff, and they said their burger tastes very old and unappetizing. -This is a very minor thing, but she refused to check if they had the Jack Antenna Toppers with the masks, because we wanted one for someone at home. Another staff member had to pop in behind this woman and tell us they ran out earlier in the day (Thank you to that woman for answering us when the woman at the window flat out would barely speak to us). I understand this is a time where COVID-19 is affecting everyone. It affects my work too! But there's no excuse for her behavior towards us. I get frustrated with visitors at work as well, but I'm trained in communication and compassion. Maybe COVID would be a great time to look into hiring good, hardworking people, trained in customer service, desperate for employment? We are not a family of "Karens." We were polite with the drive thru worker until we pulled away, despite her passive aggressive attitude, eyerolls, spilling soda on our car, and refusal to answer us when we would speak to her. We've had pretty good luck at this location over the years, but todays visit was very disappointing - so much so it deserves a bad rating. Our burgers tasted like they had been cooked and sitting around, the fries and onion rings were way overcooked, hard and tasted like the grease needed to be changed a week ago. We didn't bother calling the Mgr as he or she has to be aware of the situation and whoever pulled those fries/onion rings out of the basket and passed them along to a customer knew that was wrong. Jack in the Box is one of my favorite fast food places, but this particular location is one of the worst I've ordered from. We live in Jefferson Barracks so it's convenient to go here, but more times than not the food is not fresh or they get the order wrong. I've had problems the past 3 out of 4 times I ordered food from here. The first time my Monster Taco was basically half a shell since the other half was broke apart when I opened it. The second time the bacon on my Sourdough Jack tasted like charcoal. The third time they got my order wrong all together. I emailed corporate about a few of the problems and I received a response back in a timely manner from the district manager of the location. Sadly all they can do is tell me to mention their name on my next visit to get the food free. The problem with this is that most employees probably won't be too happy know you're the one that got them in trouble, so I'm not too eager to take advantage of this offer. Don't order tacos here they are typically not fresh at this location, and if you think that you are going to get a shake after the day shift you are wrong... The shake machine is always broken after 9 pm. The staff is not the best groomed either... Stopped in to pick up some dinner on my way home. Ordered #11- Spicy Chicken Sandwich and was asked if I wanted medium or large. Told him medium and ordered curly fries and 2 tacos. I got home to find that the chicken sandwich was just a piece of chicken without lettuce, tomato or mayo on it. The tacos were broken and hard as a rock and the curly fries were cold and greasy. That is the worst meal I have ever gotten there. To top it off, they did not even give me my receipt. I will be trying to avoid it from now on. read more
