Oh my goodness what a wonderful experience! First of all, I was a drive thru. The voice that greeted me was so happy and friendly and just seemed glad to be there. I drove up and the friendly smile that greeted me was such a pleasant start to the day. I ordered two tacos - AND they were the best Jack in the Box tacos I've had in years. They were hot, crunchy, lots of cheese and lettuce and I received the taco sauce as requested. I was there Tuesday, July 21, 2026, around 10:00 am. I wanted to share feedback regarding an order I placed last night (5/24/26) through the drive-thru. I ordered curly fries and a 4-piece mozzarella sticks order. The curly fries were fine, but unfortunately the mozzarella sticks were extremely disappointing. When I got home and opened the box, all of the mozzarella sticks were burnt, and the cheese had completely leaked out of the breading and stuck all the sticks together. They were basically inedible. On top of that, the store was out of marinara sauce. What frustrated me most was that I wasn't informed until after I had already received my order and asked for the sauce. If I had known beforehand, I honestly would have ordered something else instead. I understand mistakes happen, especially during late-night shifts, and I'm not trying to be harsh. However, the mozzarella sticks clearly should not have been served in that condition. I spent about $9.20 on the order, and while that may not seem like a large amount, it's still money I work hard for, so the experience was frustrating and disappointing. I would give no stars! I'm ready to take the food back. It's so gross. It tastes like rancid oil. I ordered french fries hamburger both taste like rancid grease! I also ordered a platter breakfast and asked if everything was pre-cooked she said no they were cooking it then which was a lie the French toast sticks were burnt and taste like bad oil. Turn around on food was quick, cashier was welcoming, ultimate cheeseburger had way too much sauce, the fries were mostly tiny pieces that you get at the bottom of the fry rack. The dining area was clean and no homeless sitting around. One take away is the employees loud gossip and joking around in the kitchen. Should keep it down when customers are in the dining area. This Jack in the box is usually a great experience for me. I come here when I'm in a hurry to get to work in the morning and usually the morning staff is very nice.They take my order well and they remember what I ordered by the time I get to the window. Today I had a very different experience. Jaqueline P. Appear to be the only person taking orders for both front counter and drive thru. When I was ordering at the drive through?I ordered a sourdough supreme, just thr sandwich, a large ice tea, chicken strips and sugar free red bull. I said no combos. She read back to me and i trusted her. She said mentioned only the chicken strips, and i thought that was because i was concernee with them being spicy because the last time I ordered chicken strips they were spicy when I didn't even know you guys had spicy chicken strips. And i couldn't eat them. So I made sure that they weren't this time so when she read it back to me And she specified about the strips only Ithought she was double-checking but when I got to the window she only charged me for the chicken strips.And when I said that we were missing iced tea she pulled out the receipt and with an attitude said "well i read it back to you." Why the attitude? Im just trying to get breakfast. Then she charged me for the drink. I thought this is okay but I am running late so I thought nothing of it and was going to move on. But when we got the food , there was only chicken strips, And I said did you get the Sourdough breakfast sandwich? Inevitably outcomes the receipts and she starts looking over them saying that we didn't order one which we did. I have a passenger in my car who literally I was ordering for and wouldn't just forget to not have given them a sandwich. She charges me for the sandwich, and when we get the food she gave me the meal which means I paid double for a drink probably but then didn't give me a drink or offer receipts that were in her hand, so I can't see what I charged anyway. And the hash brown came out dripping with oil. I know its fried but at least give me extra napkins if you're going to give me a nasty hashbrown. I'm fine with people missing things but missing two out of four items and then giving attitude immediatly at the window as if its my fault is a problem. I've been working fast food for over 15 years and I knoe malicious compliance whem I see it. It is unfair to expect the customer to hold your hand through an order. Clarify at the speaker if a food item has been switched out, or if there are two food items. I am also paid minimum wage at my job anf I dont need to be doing yours for you too. Customers can be very rude , but I was Clinical and is pleasant as I could be. Usually I don't leave bad reviews, but this is the second poor experience I've had at the store and unless I was really lucky for the past year.It means , the quality of service is going down. This location is horrible! I know it's fast food but come on, you're still providing customer service. Went inside to order, wasn't greeted with a "hello" or "how you doing", just "you ready to order?" There weren't other customers inside so it's not like the effort would cause a major wait. Placed my order and was told they didn't have anything other than small cups. Went to the fountain to fill my cups and everything was out, only had Dr. Pepper, root beer or lemonade. First of all, before ordering there was no mention of the cup issue nor the fact that they were out of 98% of their beverages. While waiting for my order I observed how filthy the kitchen floor was. Old stale looking fries sitting under the heat lamps. Another individual came in to order coffee and was told by two ladies working there that they didn't have any. A nice gentleman came from the back, greeted me and asked if I had been helped... ah finally someone with customer service knowledge. He asked the two ladies if they helped the other customer in which they told him that she wanted coffee but they told her no, he opened a drawer and said "here are grinds here, start brewing some". He ran out to catch the other customer but she was already gone. Wow such laziness from those two ladies!! Finally got my food and thankfully had fresh fries made but they dumped them straight into the basket under the heat lamp and didn't season them, just tossed them into the fry holder and straight into my bag. Onion rings were overcooked, almost burnt and they bagged other items that weren't even mine. The lady dropped my bags on the counter and walked away. The nice young man came back around asking if I had everything and that's when I pointed out the items in my bag that weren't mine. Finally got home to eat the food, fries and onion rings still hot but the hamburgers were horrible. Both were made so sloppy like they just threw everything on without effort. Today I sat in their drive thru line for 25 minutes. There was a line of 12 cars. I finally got up to the window and they rudely informed me that their card reader wasn't working and it was cash only. REALLY?? You let all these people sit in your long line and didn't bother to inform them before they ordered food that they could only pay cash?? More so, you all didn't think that since you have a line of 10+ cars that maybe you should put up a sign or have an employee come out and start telling people?? Ordering a #4: "Cheeseburger" with curly fries (+$0.30), coke, and 2 tacos: Us: Can we get a #4 Them: Do you want cheese on that? uhhhh... it's a fkn cheeseburger meal. duh! Us: Yes. I expected this location, by Walmart, by SR 120 to be overrun, filthy, disorganized, and problematic. It wasn't. There weren't many people in it at all. It took a moment for someone to show up at the register but she was efficient and the order was finished in almost as little time as it took to record the order. We got 6 of the 2 for $0.99 tacos, fries, and drinks. Of course, the price wasn't bad and the drinks were the only relatively expensive things. The taste was good and the fries were both hot and crispy, which never happens at other locations.
