I usually don't leave reviews for fast food joints, but ever since moving to Elk Grove 6 years ago, this has been my go-to late night spot. So I've been through this drive thru several dozen times. And I must say... Spot-on with the customer service and the speed at which they go through the drive thru line, which seems to be full no matter what time of the night it is. I've only had my order wrong a small handful of times (something normal and almost expected at drive thru's these days), and when something is wrong it's usually something minor that's easily fixed. Never have I had any order completely wrong or missing. That's more than I can say for several other nearby fast food joints. They're also never out of anything. They aren't magically "out of milkshakes" at 3am or anything like that. Overall it's a great place to swing by. Can the food quality be a tiny bit better? Sure. But I feel like that might be more something corporate needs to fix. As far as you getting your late-night coronary artery disease fix in? If you're in East Elk Grove swing by nowhere else but this place. They've got it all!! read more

Came inside to eat and reminisce on the old days of eating at this place. The restaurant was very clean and the staff actually upbeat and friendly. We got our food quickly and ate calmly as no one was inside the restaurant but us. Curly fries still great- I couldn't stomach the ultimate cheeseburger. The 2 for 99cent tacos still are tasty as ever and the jalapeno poppers to close the deal. Not the best quality food but great for when you have the munchies for high calorie comfort food for cheap and fast meal fix. read more

0 stars. On 2 separate occasions this location has failed to give me 2 out of the 4 tacos I've ordered. I don't know how else to order to be clear, 2 orders of tacos? 4 tacos? Each time there are tacos missing and I'm convinced at this point they purposely exclude them from the order so they can eat them for free. Also, in what world is this a large fry? The cherry on top was that the cashier confirmed I wanted curly fries, only to receive regular fries, despite there being an upcharge for curly fries. One of the WORSE drive thru nights at Jack in the Box!!!!! They deserve ZERO STARS tonight!! I drove up to the line and waited. The truck in front of me took 5-10 minutes to finally drive away from doing their order. Thought maybe he had a big order. I drove up and waited the same amount of time before a child's voice came on the intercom. I order my usual. Get to the window and realized that voice was a soft spoken girl. She gave me my drink and I said I would like ice please. Didn't ask for no ice and Im not sure why she gave me a cup with no ice. She replies, "We have no ice". You would think they would let customers know or place a sign on the menu before driving up. I wait about another 5 mins at the window. At this time, Im noticing faces I have never seen here, all new people. I get my order and drive down the drive thru lane and stop, I look to see if I have my curly fries and NOPE, they gave me regular fries. I knew something was off by how they handled themselves at the window. Both individuals looked lost. I then drive back around to the front, get off, and walk in to let them know they forgot my curly fries. The guy who helped at the window helped me inside. Not once did he apologize and proceeded to get me curly fries. The curly fries that have been sitting there and are not fresh. Didn't realize this till I got home. Next, I start to eat my fries and noticed they're cold and hard. I then bite into my mozzarella cheese sticks. The cheese was hard too!! Not hot or melting cheese. I then look at my burger and noticed right away it looks sad as if someone smashed their hand on the top of my burger. I open it and the patties were cold. This is supposed to be the ULTIMATUM BACON Cheeseburger. It was two slices of bacon cut in half to make four. This was sad to see and I have seen some Jack in the Boxes resort to this for this burger. I had no mayonnaise either, which I asked for. Tonight, this Jack in the Box missed the quality!! This Jack in the Box has always been on point, yet again, I haven't been here for about 6 months. They need to do better and I will go to the other Jack instead. HUGE miss!!!! Picked up food today on my way to my daughter's school she teaches at to have lunch with her. Do this on most Wednesday. Usually pick food up from various place on the way. Today was this Jack in the Box ... and had been here before a couple of times last year. First time thru the drive thru though. Every time has been a positive experience. i just ordered from jnb at 2-3am on thursday (for me it was 20minutes ago). it's late at night and it was a long line, however when i ordered, the lady on the speaker was very nice and patient even though the audio might've been bad. and when it was finally my turn to receive my food, it turns out to be a middle aged mexican lady who was the nicest worker ever. she said the total but i was a bit sleepy because it's 2am and hungry so i just replied yes instead of actually paying. then we blankly stared at each other for a second till i realized what she said. we both laughed and completely understood. for someone working the night shift at 3am, i was surprised that she was able to keep up a good spirit and talk with customers. love to see that!! :) read more

So I went through drive thru and places an order for two jumbo jack. My patty was cold and I kindly ask the lady if she could give me fresh hot meat patty instead of the cold patty. She took my food and never came back. She robbed me openly. This is 1 am so I could not go into the lobby to inquire about it. This is horrible service. Normally I really don't care to leave reviews but it's hard finding places open late after work. They say they are open 24 hours but really don't bother showing up between 3am-6am cause they will claim the "system is down" one time maybe but this is the 3rd time I've had to go somewhere else. This Jack in the box is 24/7 and right next to my house. The ladies there are always so polite. There's a few newer employees that are super rude. Especially the guy with the lip ring working at about 1:15 am on 8/17. I said I wanted a diet coke ginger lime. He got me a ginger ale which is an honest mistake but he whispers loudly in a sassy tone "you definitely said ginger ale as he rolled his eyes. He then asked if I wanted ice with attitude. I would normally say he's having a bad day but he always gives attitude and I will never go back here at night unfortunately. Food here is always good if you come when the ladies are working but hit or miss late at night but to be fair they're a little under staffed and busy as hell. read more

On one side is a left only lane separated from the other lanes by a median-strip. Great fresh fast food..this location is absolutely.the most modern and well decorated too..bathrooms are Asian.theme with potted plants in large stalls..unreal how nice this place is..it makes eating more fun to be in the midst of luxury and low prices. None of them is wearing a face mask properly. None of them had their noses covered. Which if it isn't covered wearing a mask is pointless.
