We were driving through Dunnigan and realized we hadn't eaten lunch. Bill and Kathy's isn't in business anymore so choices are a little limited. We decided on Jack in the Box. The store is set up, arranged, and decorated pretty much like every other Jack in the Box I've visited in the past. The only difference I noticed was that the beverage dispenser is not where patrons serve themselves. The food we ordered was all prepared fresh and was ready pretty quickly. The team members were friendly and the store was clean. Overall, it was a good visit. I will certainly consider returning when I'm in the area and hungry for fast food. read more

1. Lousy service, nobody greeted me (or two other customers who came in while I was here) for several minutes. Dining room was not busy, nor was the drive-up. 2. I specifically asked for FRESH curly fries but received only 2 or 3 warm curlies and the rest were cold leftover crescents from another cook. 3. #8 sandwich was awash in mayonnaise and yellow mustard, no salt, no flavor - ICK. 4. My dine in order was served in a to-go bag, not the nice plastic tray, with no napkins at all. Same for another walk in, dine in customer. 5. If you are recognized by staff, you get the plastic tray for dine in! This also means you get better portions of fries. 6. Size of small beverage cup has gotten even smaller - really?? 7. While traveling north back home I stopped at Jack in the Box. The parking lot was empty, this was a relief after a long drive. While approaching the front door they appeared to be closed. No lights, No employees. I entered and was nicely greeted. The customer service was pretty good. However, an employee was mopping the floor with heavy cleaner at 6:45pm. This is just odd really, While waiting I noticed a few flies. No biggie, but then I saw more and more flies. There were flies EVERYWHERE. Literally 20 flies hovering in pockets. Obviously there were MAGGOTS somewhere. This place should be shut down and overhauled by jack in the box corporate. Jack in the box, take some pride in cleaning. The owner needs to find a way to minimize the clutter, sanitation and fly problem. The food, I have no idea how it was, I threw it away. I like fast food and JITB. Their hours state 1am at the drive through but when we tired to order hamburgers they informed us that they already shut down their griddle and were consequently only making fried food. Phew, this was a painful experience, with only 5 others in the restaurant. Funny, we rarely eat fast food and were charging at the fast DC charger nearby. Went into the restaurant, and waited for 5 minutes and no eye contact, no hello, no 'be right with you', nada! We left after this. I'm guessing they can't get good employees from a small rural town like Dunnigan, but you'd think Corporate Jack in the Box would give a crap that this restaurant is a black hole of customer service and good food handling techniques! Jack in the box probably has the most extensive menu of all fast food chains. Their shakes are middle of the road but the whipped cream ain't right. Leaves a greasy taste in your mouth, guess I'm used to homemade. Bathroom at this location was pretty clean with multiple stalls so a great option for a stop. Waited over 20 minutes for our food. They asked for my receipt because they couldn't find my order. Other people were asking for refunds because they waited so long. The drive thru seemed to be going smoothly, they forgot about the dining area I guess. Cashier said their system crashed but from reading the other reviews, I'm sure this is a regular occurrence. The dining room trash was filled to the top, and trash was falling out. Toilet paper on floor outside of bathrooms, no toilet seat covers in women's bathroom. Husband said the men's at was disgusting and there was urine all over floor. All dining room tables were dirty and had food on them, we just cleaned our own table so we could sit. The cashier decline to help a customer ahead of us because he didn't have a mask. But then after he left, she walked away to the back and never came back to help us. Desperate times....call for drastic measures. Could have been more disciplined, could have just continued on down the road. Should have checked the yelp crystal ball......but did not. Some what lacking in basic customer service skills and timely food preparation.....but when it was all said and done.....it was A-OK fast food. After a night of heavy drinking in San Francisco, I had to get an early start on my way up to Redding to visit an old friend. I didn't have much of a hangover but I knew I needed some kind of greasy, crappy food to keep my head on straight and my stomach content. I also needed it fast, so something like Denny's or iHop was out of the question. Enter Jack in the Box in Dunnigan. By the time I reached them it was some time after 11:30am, and unlike McDonalds they serve breakfast all day long. Bingo. I can't speak for the interior of this particular JitB, as I went through the drive-thru, but let me tell you. I ordered a Sausage Biscuit combo, and I got it fast, piping hot, and delicious. I was back on the road and munching down in no time at all. My only complaint was that I didn't order two. read more

We stopped here at 0915 on a Saturday morning on the way to SF. We walked in to an empty building to 3 workers gossiping. We ordered 4 breakfasts with coffee. No coffee made! At breakfast? At least the coffee was fresh after 15 minutes. In the mean time, 6 people came in and the workers picked up and starting working. The inside was cleaned and well stocked. Our food was fresh and hot. Coffee was Fresh at least.... The bathrooms were questionable but better than a rest area. I would eat here again if I was in a hurry, such as today. I went through the drive-thru on Saturday 6/23/18 at 12:27pm and had the worst experience I have ever had with ANY fast food chain. After we placed our order, there was only 2 cars in front of us and it took over 15mins just to get to pay. My entire order that I placed was for 2 kids meals (1 with chicken nuggets and the other with chicken strips), a #4 combo, and the Aioli burger combo. When we paid for our order Julliana handed me the receipt I noticed she charged me for a #13 meal. She gave us our milk and then went back to the kitchen. After 10mins she came back and handed us two bags. One bag had the burgers and fries (which was surprisingly correct) and the other was ADULT Chicken Strips and in one kids meal bag. I then tried to explain they had messed up the order and all I got were BLANK stares. She then got another employee (manager maybe) and I tried to explain that we didn't order a #13 but we were charged for it and I wanted a refund since it wasn't what we had ordered. All I got were more blank stares from both of them. Julliana then took back my receipt and asked that I pull around and wait for the kids chicken nuggets. She also took back the Adult chicken strips and then put two small kid chicken strips back in the bag. After pulling around and waiting for a few minutes, nobody came out. I decided to go in and have a talk with the manager. When I went inside there were two people in line waiting for their order to be taken. I ended up getting inline because all of the employees including the "so-called manager" were completely IGNORING me when I was standing at the counter!!! After the manger took the people's order in front of me (after waiting another 10mins), I was up next. I asked where the chicken nuggets were... She looked at me with a blank stare again!!! after I explained to her AGAIN she went into the freezer and put the chicken nuggets in the fryer! Are you kidding me??!! So I am literally now fuming because I was waiting for now 30mins to get 5 chicken nuggets. Just glad I had the common sense to go inside instead of waiting. I then told her AGAIN that I wanted a refund for the #13 that I didn't order and paid for. She finally gave me that back. I then waited patiently (I wanted to leave so bad but my kids were starving at that point) for another 10mins when I flagged her down again and asked where is the food. She then took her time to get them out of the fryer, place them in the bag and hand them to me. As I left the building I went back to my truck only to find that Julliana (the original one from the drive-thru) did not give us our 2 cups of iced-tea from the adult combos we ordered. I then went back inside and was COMPLETELY IGNORED AGAIN at the counter for another 5mins-10mins until I flagged Julliana down (she just changed shifts to take counter orders) and explained that I didn't get my drinks when I was in the drive-thru. Blank Stares again... She then gave the cups to me and I filled my own drinks and got out of there. From the time I ordered to the time I got back to my truck to eat was about 40-45mins. Needless to say my meal was cold by then. This has got to be one of the worst Jack in the boxes I have ever been to and I Will NEVER go back! The employees obviously don't care about quality of their jobs or the customers and it clearly shows. Note: my wife and kids stayed in the running truck with the dog while I was inside waiting, she observed many Hangry drivers leaving the drive-thru (some peeling out) and leaving the building in frustration... I would also be happy to discuss my experience with any upper management (except the one who I spoke to at that location) that would like to contact me to discuss further. Final note: I understand people have bad days and I in no means trying to be mean towards Julliana (I am sure she is a nice person), but that was the only name on my receipt and I have to make my comments based upon my treatment during this visit (from her and the manager). read more

Rest stops on I-5 are closed so I really needed to use a restroom and get lunch before I continued on to my destination. When I got out of my car and approached the door there was a sign posted, "RESTROOMS ARE CLOSED." I got back in my car and left without making a purchase. Horrible customer service!! read more
