Food was ok. It's your typical fast good place, nothing special. Service was horrible. I asked for ranch and got charged for it. That's fine, I understand charging for extra condiments. I saw my credit card charge later and they overcharged me for condiments! Seriously. Those folks are that incompetent to not know how much to charge for extra condiments. The opening excitement has died down and we had a T Mobile promotion for a free burger so we decided to try it again. The 4 stars is for the taste of the food. I liked the burger and the curly fries. They have a very large menu. The logistics of getting in and out of Schmale rd.as well as the pain points of going in for counter service rates a one-star rating for me. I did not figure in these factors into my rating. My best advice is to avoid going into the restaurant to order at the counter or to eat in the restaurant. There is no room to wait for your order to be prepared. The self serve beverage station and the order kiosks are right in the middle of where people wait for their order to be done. So it is continually "Excuse me..Excuse me..Sorry, I'm in your way." The restaurant was fully staffed and the workers were very nice. The ambiance of the eating area is poor. The booths have padding on the back but there is no padding on the seat. So you are sitting on a hard slap of formica. And of course if it is crowded, you may experience the overflow of people waiting for their counter order just hanging around your table. That is why I advise doing drive-through. I liked the food enough to try a different location. Getting and eating at a fast food place should not be this difficult. read more

Compared to any jack in the box I've been to in California and in Texas this one is the bomb. First off the prices are less then in Cali and Texas but when you order tacos you actually shells with stuff in them rather than some skimpy teaspoon on of beef and a gallon of sauce. I've been here a bunch of times and no issues. However , August 25th, in the evening, I go into the drive thru, order a #2, with ketchup and tomato's only. When I got to the window, the girl says it's $11.76. I'm like , it's posted as $9.99, she insisted it was $11.76 with tax. If something is posted as a price, aren't you suppose to honor it? was wondering y not one car was in line for this new drive-thru. seems like a great location although it's congested in that lot a bit at that corner. anyways, it took a long time. good all looked great in the pictures. one part of the menu with the breakfast was already folded over like it needed to be held up better. jus took a really long time, sorta like it did at white castle. the amount of ham on the breakfast sandwiches and how small the bacon was brought about some sadness. needs some more sauce and bigger portions to want me to go back again. i jus don't see this place lasting too long at this point, which is sad since they are so new still. the app doesn't have this location listed yet as a store to set as preferred location. the gremlins meal sounds fun. i'll have to try a cheeseburger next time. burger king is better for the croissant sandwiches. read more

I went there on a Sunday night at around 6pm. There were about 5 cars waiting in the drive-thru lane, so I opted to go inside. I ordered from the kiosk. I ordered a jumbo jack, onion rings and two tacos. After I swiped my credit card, I noticed I did not get a ticket or receipt. I let the guy at the counter know, and he replaced the paper in the machine. The restaurant was not terribly busy and the workforce was well staffed, but it still took 25 minutes to receive my order. I'm not exaggerating on the time, because they have a screen that tells you how long you've been waiting. Anyway, they tell me they don't have tacos so do I want something else. Turns out, they had the mini tacos so I asked for them instead. And I waited, listening to what else was going on. No napkins, out of big drink cups, and workers waiting on the fryers to complete cooking. The manager stepped out from the back for a quick minute. I assumed he was the manager because he was the only one not doing anything. He seemed surprised they ran out of tacos. He went and checked the back room. After a few minutes, he came back and said they had tacos, but the shells were still frozen, and it takes 48 hours to thaw out. Seems like a management issue there. Am I being unreasonable after an establishment has been open for 6 weeks? Out of product, tableware not filled, out of cups, and 25 minute wait? I don't blame the work staff. They were all working. So why did I give it more than 1 star? Well, the food was pretty darn good. The bun on the hamburger was not warm, but it tasted good. The onion rings were excellent, and the mini tacos were a bargain for the price. I'll go back again, but they really need to get their act together. Also, you sign up and download their app, receive all these offers to visit their store and save $$, and then their store doesn't show up on the map, so you can't use the app. 6 weeks is long enough to get the app working. After over 30 minutes waiting to order in the drive-thru line, my "Double Jack Burger" was barely lukewarm, and tasted like rancid fat. Yuck. A real waste at $7, too. People really need to give a new business a chance to settle in before they give nasty reviews. Especially when there are lines out the door and cars into the street waiting for service all day and most of the night. With that said, I went there for breakfast this morning, and I have to say this was the best breakfast burrito and hash brown from a fast food place that I've had in a long time. Place is very messy, the tables were all dirty from previous customers and ants were on the walls. Food takes long, have to wait at least 25+ minutes for your food. Lastly the food doesn't taste great, I don't know what Jack In The Box is aiming for for their food standards but I don't believe my tacos should be colder than my drink, and my chicken patty shouldn't be harder than a rock. They need better training & to fill orders faster...Remembering Jack in The Box from over 40 years ago, I have been anxiously awaiting the opening....I've now been there 3 times & while the food has been delicious, the service experience has been awful every time....I have honestly never seen so many employees working at a Fast Food Restaurant at one time (including 2 standing outside), and they are still having difficulty filling orders in less than 20 minutes, ran out of Menus to take with you and haven't got more of them. They really need to get everyone trained to take orders and get people their food ALOT faster... read more

Corporate!! Corporate!!! Please step in! Or your business won't make it! Drive thru sooo slow, so parked and went in. Only 1 door was open, myself and others were confused on if the dining room was open. After entering there was absolute confusion. I work at a high volume breakfast/lunch restaurant and I would have been fired if I was working the way this staff was working (well NOT working)! I have NEVER seen so many staff members not knowing what to do! They didn't need half of that staff. It made it more confusing to the ones that were actually doing something. They kept engaging with the ones standing around. If there was a manager there today (Oct. 16th at 3:15pm) they need to be re-trained. I have so many words that I couldn't possibly write it all. Plus, I wouldn't even know where to begin! Stunned! Absolutely stunned! Hopefully you'll get it together! The community was excited to have you. You won't last with the service this way. Better managers and an owner who actually cares about their location is VERY needed...always dirty, they close lobby early and the lobby smells, slow service and lack of communication within crew. They yell a lot at each other and if they mess up they act like their customers are an inconvenience for asking for it to be fixed or asking for the sauce they paid for. I came here on the weekend and waited 30 minutes for my food. When I arrived there was an angry customer that stormed outside of the building. We still decided to order food. After ordering our food, the workers showed no urgency to work. A customer walked in and wanted to order at the cash register and cashier said "I have a lot to do right now" and walked away. The manager said to order at the kiosk. The customer and I looked at each other with disbelief. It wasn't that busy that day, but the workers looked like they didn't want to be there. We approached the counter hoping to get an update on our order, but we were ignored. After 30 minutes we received our food and it wasn't good. The burger was bland, the tacos were ok, although we did like the churros. We weren't sure if they were understaffed or not, we just didn't appreciate the attitude that the employees had towards us and the other customers. Please improve your customer service. read more
