Being from out of town and hearing the hype we stopped in to check if it could stand up to the praise. Sadly no. Place was clean with friendly service. Only one other couple was inside with us so it was quiet for a fast food joint which was nice. The hamburger was good but it wasn't sex on a bun as I was lead to believe from the hype. The tacos were very greasy but my wife was eating them so who cares right? Well, she did that night. Flushed her out pretty good. Not sure if that's a pro or con. We don't have a Jack in the Box near us in Idaho so we always stop on our way through in Burley. It's usually a pleasant time but this time was lacking. The food was mostly fine. Our large curly fries were quite small, makes me wonder what a regular size would be. While ordering they got our friends order incorrect and the employee was arguing with what she ordered. The ham and egg pocket is a very eatable ham and egg when driving to Twin Falls or Boise without the problem of food on clothing common to other early morning sandwiches. Just stopped at the Burley Jack in the Box to eat while on a trip to Montana. Oy. We waited almost ten minutes for our order--no problem there, except that the burgers were cold. The onion rings were greasy and overcooked. The Bonus Jack burger was much smaller than the same burger at the Jack in the Box in Reno and cost a dollar more. I don't generally feel the need to complain about service, because I've worked in a fast food establishment before. That being said while I was out getting some Jack in the box for my pregnant wife. I wanted to get her a chocolate oreo milkshake. A new employee was working the window and he made a regular milkshake by mistake. When I brought it to his attention, he reached for a new cup to start over, his manager advised him not to remake the shake but recycle it. Once I had paid for the meal they handed me a shake that looked like it was a day old. The cherry was missing and the whipped cream was blended into the mixture. It was a mess. Not wanting to upset them any more, or I didn't bring it up again. But I also could not bring myself to let my wife drink the milkshake either. For fear it had been tampered with by a disgruntled employee. Not the new guy, mind you. The manager. I am not really mad about the experience just disappointed in the lack of service. And upset I had to explain to my wife why she couldn't have her chocolate oreo milkshake. read more

Went through the drive through &when I asked for extra sauce for fries was told "F**k You" and a slam of the window. My son asked me "Did she really just say that?" I sat there stunned and once I gathered myself called the phone number on the receipt. Cynthia answered and said she was the one at the window. Didn't apologize. Acted proud of her horrible behavior. Gave me the managers name, Sarah and her cell phone number. I called the cell and left a voice mail. No one has called me back. Im shocked and disgusted. There was no dialogue that would've warranted that kind of language. Unless Cynthia mistook me for someone else? Im from out of town & was just passing through. I will never go there again.
