We had a leak under the sink. We called Jack Dish and spoke to a woman who was very nice and understanding. She asked us to send pics and she spoke to the plumber. Because it was over the long New Years Weekend, they quoted us a price so that we could compare it to other companies who could potentially repair the item sooner. We chose to wait for Jack Dish. Jack made sure to replace the water pressure reducing valve to keep the pressure at normal psi. Then he installed a new water heater for me. We've used this company before and they are honest hence the reason we called them again. We had a tub that no longer drained and draino no longer worked so we knew the issue was something else that would need an auger. The tech that came out was so nice and pleasant to deal with! He took care of the problem quickly and showed me a chalk like wall substance that was causing the blockage that he was able to break up and clear away. This company was outstanding! The professionalism, the customer service, the quality of work was all top notch. I had a major water main leak at my house, not only did they come out the same day, after calling 8 different plumbers and having no success, they set up a temporary line so that my family could have water over the weekend till they returned on Monday with the team to complete the job. This was not a small job, it required a ton of digging, piping, cutting into the drywall, etc. but they managed to get it all completed in 1 full day & did an outstanding job. Not only that, one of the plumbers called me over the weekend to "just wanted to make sure you're ok with no issues" very nice of them to check on us. I had 4 plumbing contractors bid on replacement of my hot water heater.. Each agreed to not charge for an estimate including Dische Plumbing. However, after making an estimate Dische charged me $92.00. This charge was sprung on me at the last minute, even though I was still had to evaluate other estimates before making a decision. They said their estimate will be forgiven if i chose them to do the work, however their estimate for the new install was $200 higher than others even with estimate rebate. Called over a weekend to get a quote for replacement of a leaking water supply line and installation of a low flow toilet. The tech called Monday and was timely. When he arrived We showed him the leaking supply line and discussed toilet replacement options. He told us he could fix the supply line but since he could not replace the toilet at the same time it would cost us $165 instead of $135. Didn't make sense to me since he was already there. We also showed him a shower valve that leaked when we pulled it up to divert water to the shower head and he assured us it was an easy fix but neither quoted us a price or made an attempt to fix it. . While he was on the phone giving details for the toilet quote we asked if they offer military discount he said they do but it was too late because they had already run my card info. I'll be looking elsewhere for a plumber now. Just got the price for the toilet install - $1065 - not going to happen. read more

Kevin was at my house within an hour, diagnosed the problem immediately and after the proper part was procured - it was only about 2 hours to permanently fix. I hired Jacks Plumbing for some re-piping job. I explained over the phone what I needed and they were really thorough in explaining what needed to be done and gave me options. They quoted me cheaper than the other companies I contacted. On the day of the visit, Nelson was very knowledgable and actually told me that the pipes did not need to be replaced. I was so surprised, as I have definitely been taken advantage of before. It is nice knowing that companies are actually wanting to do a good job and not just focus on the money piece. We were replacing kitchen faucet. I emailed them based on amazing job that Dan did 3 years ago with drainage cleaning and powder room faucet replacement. They responded within 2 hours, provided estimate and made an appointment (all within the same 2 hours). David and Nelson were on time, gave valuable advice on part that had to be replaced additionally and everything was done in 30 min. Built-in sprayer was adjusted according to my wishes. Contacted Jack Dish Plumbing at 8am on Tuesday. I had a broken valve that needed to be replaced. Lady on the phone was polite told me she could have someone there the same day. I gave her my credit card and agreed to a $110 call out inspection. Guy shows up at 4pm. Tells me that the job will be twice as much because it's almost 5pm and the work will need to be done in overtime. 3.5 hours at $750 later the issue was resolved. I'm upset and annoyed that they did not disclose the almost $200 an hour price on the phone. If I new at Tuesday 8am I would have had the whole day to call and arrange another plumber with more reasonable rates. read more

Had the water heater replaced do to a large leak. As usual I get my recommendation from Yelp. So far I was always lucky. Not this time. Called Jack Dish.They send ONE tech. for the job. He worked fast and hard in the 110 degree heat. After he completed the job he gave me the bill. I agreed to the estimated charges. Their office made an appointment for the building inspector which failed.The exhaust should have been attached with screws not nailed in. So the owner came. He didn't even bring a ladder? Luckily I had one for him to use. He used the recommended screws and closed holes in the pipe with duct tape?? Long story short, I will never hire or recommend this company to anyone. read more

My experience with this company was good! They were friendly, professional, and kept me informed of what they were doing. The only reason for not giving a 5 is because they were evasive about their advertised senior discount, and in the end gave only $10 off on a $950 bill. That is about 1%, and I find that offensive. I should have known something was up when both the girl on the phone, and the plumber, would not directly answer my question on this until the end.
