I applied too much pressure and ended up cracking the water line inside the wall. Jerry Catania came out with his son and quickly diagnosed the problem. He cut a small, neat access opening in the garage wall to reach the leak, replaced the hose bib, and made sure all the new piping was securely fastened to the wall stud. The quality of his work was excellent, and it was obvious he takes pride in doing the job right. Jerry and his son arrived exactly on time, were friendly and professional throughout the job, and charged me a very fair price. You can immediately tell Jerry has years of experience and knows exactly what he's doing. If I ever need a plumber again, Catania and Sons Plumbing will be my first call. I highly recommend them.

I wanted a second opinion before spending that kind of money, so I called Nothing But Water Heaters and they got someone out pretty quickly. The technician, Manny, checked it out and realized the pilot light was just out. He spent a few minutes figuring out why, got it relit, and had everything working again in about 15 minutes. He also told us the water heater is from 2019 and doesn't need to be replaced anytime soon. What really got me was that he could have easily told us it needed replacing and we never would have known better. Instead he was straight with us, gave us a quote for whenever we do actually need a new one down the road, and wouldn't take payment for the visit even though I offered a few times. You don't run into that kind of honesty very often. I'll definitely be calling them when I do need a replacement, and I'm telling everyone I know to use them too.

He took several pictures, cited plumbing code, etc. I was relieved that we did not require a repair and that Francis and Pure Plumbing was so honest with me. Francis provided me with documentation of his findings that I can keep for my records and also provide to the realtors/buyers. It has been a pleasure doing business with Pure Plumbing and I highly recommend them for all of your plumbing needs. Unfortunately, my experience changed once the technician arrived. After discussing my concerns, only a very limited inspection was performed. The technician checked my refrigerant lines by hand and, during the process, tore part of the insulation covering the lines. The insulation was left damaged without being repaired, repositioned, or taped back together. I explained that I had recently cleaned the system myself and had been experiencing performance issues afterward. By the time of the appointment, the system had fortunately started operating normally again. Despite my concerns, the technician did not perform what I would consider a thorough inspection of either the outdoor unit or the indoor head unit. Several areas I asked about were dismissed with comments such as, "Don't worry about that, it doesn't need cleaning." When I later asked about replacement options and newer systems, the conversation quickly shifted toward sales estimates. I was quoted approximately $11,000 for a new ductless mini-split installation. While I understand labor, materials, permits, overhead, and warranties contribute to installation costs, the estimate seemed significantly higher than I expected. What confused me most was that the technician appeared far more interested in discussing replacement options than addressing the maintenance concerns I originally scheduled the appointment for. At the end of the visit, I was informed there would be a $19 charge. Assuming this was being collected before the advertised coil cleaning service was performed, I also provided a $20 tip. However, the technician then left without performing any coil cleaning service. In the end, I paid for a service call, had insulation on my system damaged, received very little troubleshooting or maintenance assistance, and never received the coil cleaning that was advertised and expected. I left the experience disappointed and feeling that my concerns were never properly addressed. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service.

David came to my home and did a thorough assessment of my water heater and connected pipes. David made several calls to supply stores but no one had the part needed. So he ordered a part via "over night delivery." After 3 days the part never arrived. The UPS status indicated the part was scheduled for delivery. When the part didn't arrive David took the initiative and actually went to the UPS warehouse to get the package. He was given the runaround. Bottom line, UPS didn't have it after all! The next day, David then found the part needed, purchased it and installed it. As it turns out, something out of view and deep within the water heater was the problem. David brought a replacement 75 gallon water heater. And, he installed that massive water heater all by himself! Wow! On day 5 I had hot water to the house! The delays had nothing to do with David or the company. Just bad luck and bad timing. David went ABOVE & BEYOND to make sure my elderly mother and I had hot water. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH DAVID. Wait, there's more! Due to the issues that arose (through no fault of David or the company), Desert Water Heaters gifted me the new water heater and installation!!! Hello Yelp Members,…read more I have a SPECTACULAR one for you all! Super Service Cooling and Heating! My Professional Plumbing Expert Johnathan. He repaired a water leak in my garage located under the partition that held my hot water heater. Johnathan arrived on a Thursday, before his off days, Friday, and Saturday. He diagnosed the problem, but was unable to repair due to my request for an afternoon arrival. Johnathan is SO KiND and KNOWLEDGEABLE. To the point that I chose to wait until Sunday, for his return. Allowing the leak to continue because of the trust I have for him. That night he went above and beyond. I wanted him to receive the woke hours. Garage flooded and expecting a high bill in sacrifice for his expertise and my trust in it. I received a quote from his office which was fair. I have used many different plumbing companies in the past. Each one charged(from my decades long home owner experience) much more than the time it took to complete. No parts and labor, but a flat rate. No itemization until work was completed, which only one company provided labor time. That complaint attempted to charged for time spent speaking about two other issues I enquired about and an estimate when provided. I decided to ask if he had time in his schedule to complete that additional work then. That time, speaking, and receiving a course of action was billed as labor hours. I was forced to call management to have it removed as the technician would not. Back to Johnathan. Moving the hot water caused an issue with heater maintaining a burn. Johnathan then called the boss, Issac who helped to diagnose the problem and recommend the repair required. An additional fee when the water heater was working perfectly before the leak was repaired. Issac 'offered' to replace the part at the cost of the part only. I could have argued for no additional charge as it worked perfectly before being moved. However, being understanding and grateful that he offered 'at cost only' before we discussed it. Fairness is part of their culture obviously. After replacing the flame would still not hold. Johnathan disassembled the vent for a third time. First, before water leak. A second time after replacing the new part. He sealed it off. Oh, I have a commercial heater with venting. Johnathan sealed it so good no air could possibly enter. The work was not completed until Tuesday. My responsibility. Due to my sleep schedule afternoon hours are best. Each night before completion Johnathan worked tirelessly until the job was completed to his standards, and my own. Even cleaning the area and spraying and wiping down the water heater afterwards. I have the utmost respect for that young man. He will go far in business and in life because he is honest, and so is Super Service, Issac. They could have charged so much more, but they were fair and accountable. Anyone out there who has gone through multiple plumbing companies in hopes of finding a competent, fair and decent one please stop here?? You will not regret your decision. They, Johnathan, 'are my list' now. What a relief. Now I know who to call and who to refer with the utmost confidence. Johnathan is also engaged to be married with plans of starting a family. But Kinetico LV now is trouble. The techs here are very knowledgeable and polite, trained by Bob B who had a lifelong career in LV water and solutions. But the office staff or manager are bad news. They do not supply the techs with lists of what chems etc Kinetico RO systems and filters remove and could not tell me how to obtain a list! Finally a tech mailed it to me. And Kinetico LV no longer have carbon copy receipts so though you sign and initial three pages of docs the company does not provide the techs a copy for the customer, you have to call the office. It took me weeks and multiple calls to get a copy of what I signed from the office staff - and we are not talking electronic, you sign paper and they will not give you a copy (which they had me wait two weeks for a tech's next appt to bring it to me!). Refusing to give customers a copy of your signature gives Kinetico LV the appearance to be in financial or legal trouble. The Kinetico Las Vegas office do not timely follow up nor return their messages and last time they failed to call to notify me of my appt time window. Ten days ago the tech identified the problem with my water softener, disconnected it and said the office would call me the next day, but no call, no solution. When I called the office today she had no idea what I was talking about and said she would have to check with the tech later today and call me back - the office staff treat the customers' service needs as a problem. I've not been unpleasant to them, just firm in my requests. You cannot get the name of nor talk to a manager, despite asking. I don't know if there is one and I don't know who the Sam J is replying to posts here. Again, the techs are good, but the office stands between them and you the customer. Kinetico Las Vegas has developed real problems. Though I soon need a new water softener because of the above I will have to reconsider purchasing from Kinetico LV. And by the way, when I called for my RO filters service appt they suggested I come in, get the filters and do it myself! This again is from a long time customer advising you of a change in Kinetico LV. Too, I will doubt the sincerity of any reply from them here unless they say "we value constructive criticism and we're fixing us" and then do so. I will post back.

We contacted Leo's Handyman Services as we had small cracks forming in our ceiling of our garage in…read morethe drywall seams where the tape was. We contacted Leo via Yelp, and received a response a short time later. Shortly afterwards, Leo came out to our home. He assessed the work, took some pictures and said his specialist can do the job, no problem. That should have been our first warning that Leo himself was not doing the work/repair and did not bring his specialist along for the initial review. He said, I'm an engineer and don't do that sort of work, but no problem he can do it, he'll make it look good, he's a specialist! We talked about how important it was to have our garage cabinets, tools, area where we have shoes and some outdoor furniture stored in the garage covered with plastic and that our newly done epoxy floor would need to be covered from the debris and dust. Leo said that they usually only cover the floor where the work would be done, his reply was it's a garage. We stressed in our conversation and also outlined in our response via text that it was important that it's covered if we hired him for the job. He agreed that it would be done. Later that evening he sent a message with the quote but did not send a contract or scope of work with his quote detailing the work (that should have been another red flag). So I responded with a message that specifically outlined our expectations of the job and what was to be done. He replied, yes everything outlined would be done. He then messaged me that his specialist would be at our home that following Thursday, which we agreed. Wednesday came around and Leo messaged us that his specialist was at another job previously and that he was doing such a great job, the client asked him to stay another day to do more work. He asked if he can come to us on Monday, we said no problem. He said he'd be there in the am on Monday, but would message us with the time frame on Sunday. Sunday came and Leo texted us indicating Simon will arrive around noon, ok no problem. Monday came and Simon showed up at 1pm, he brought his ladder, a drop cloth and only covered the door leading from the garage to our kitchen with plastic, and covered nothing else that we spoke of. After putting that up, Simon told my husband he needed to get some supplies and would be back in 20 minutes. Like what, why did he not come prepared in the first place. The job was straight forward, remove old tape, replace tape, add dry wall/mud, texture and paint (which we supplied the paint). Anyway, Simon left and came back an hour later, not 20 minutes. After returning he worked another 20 minutes and knocked on our door telling us he needed more supplies and would be back in 20 minutes????? He left and came back 20 minutes later. By now it's 3pm, he finished up around 6pm. When we went out to look at the work, it was a mess! He put drywall mud over the tape and used a textured paint roller to texture the areas that were done. We asked why he did not allow for the mud to dry then sand and texture and paint when it was all the way dried? He looked at us perplexed, and said texture spray is expensive and that his textured roller brush gave it a sprayed look. We said that, this is not what we agreed to and that 2 cans of texture spray would have covered it and cost around $20. He literally put tape, drywall mud and painted without allowing properly drying in between each process. The areas he did are noticeable. See photo. I then asked where was all the plastic to cover the areas we discussed with Leo, he could not answer. He spoke very little English so communication was difficult and very frustrating. We advised him he needs to clean up as everything was covered in drywall dust. He ran a shop vacuum for a few minutes and wiped a few areas down and left. Everything was covered in white dust, Everything! I tried to call Leo, but he did not take my call. So I texted him saying that Simon did not do what we discussed. In addition the work done looks worse than it did when the ceiling was cracking. The areas are lumpy and it's an eyesore. Leo finally responded that he and Simon agreed to do it the way he did it as it was more cost effective for them. Leo or Simon at no time never contacted us to change any part of what was agreed. He decided to cut corners without advising us otherwise. His word were they made the decision as it was just a garage. We understand that it would not look 100% the same, but he didn't even try to make it look even half way better. He said what can we do to make it right? To be honest, we just wanted he and his specialist gone. They literally fked up our ceiling and now we'll have to pay someone to fix it. We would not let him touch anything around our home with a 10ft pole. Shame on you Leo for taking our money and leaving us with shoddy work! I would think twice before hiring Leo's Handyman Services ! If we could give zero stars we would!

Had my "pressure regulating valve" start leaking. Texted my handyman, but he was booked and suggested Jack Dish Plumbing. Now, I do have a home warranty. But, I knew how that would go. I'd wait all day, guy would come out, then wouldn't have the part (ie: needs to get approval first from the warranty company) then I would have to schedule again. So decided to pay a bit extra and have a plumber come out. Have to say, this was a positive experience from the start. After the recommendation, checked here and on a "list" site. Everything looked great. Went to the website and filled out the form for an appointment. Jennifer got back to me quickly and in a professional manner. I sent a picture of what needed to be replaced and then we set up an appointment the next morning. Joey called before he came out to let me know he was on his way. Once he got to me place, he got to work. He and I had a nice conversation as he did the work and talking to him was like talking to someone you had known for awhile. He finished the work in timely manner and as he was about to leave, we both found out that both of us are hockey fans! Dan of Jack Dish Plumbing came to install a replacement kitchen waste disposal. When I made the appointment, I ask if they could also check the toilet valves, kitchen sink valves (Refrigerator, Reverse Osmosis, Hot and Cold) and the rest that need to be changed. Dan did an exceptional job with the waste disposal. He also reconfigured the leaking kitchen sink drain where the old RO was taken out by somebody else. He was very thorough in making sure everything was just right. He is a neat and clean worker, no mess left behind. As requested, he checked the various valves, happily tightened one that was leaking and said that they may need to be changed in the future, but so far they are good. We were impressed with his honesty, others would have just changed them and charged whatever. He answered many questions and very educational and friendly. When we moved to Las Vegas, we were warned that the city is full of scammers, including service providers. Jack Dish Plumbing is definitely an exception. I should have written this years ago. My condo complex was built in the 90s and the plumbing has many issues, I can count the trucks from various plumbing companies when I pull into the parking lot most days dealing with some crisis or another. I tried a variety of them myself before very specifically settling on Nelson at Jack Dish plumbing. I think I saw him more during the covid lockdown than anyone in my family. Hard working, honest, incredibly professional and Jennifer does amazing with scheduling in that office. I have shared Nelson with some of my neighbors, one of whom had used three plumbers none of whom found the issue but she told me Nelson knew right away. He has spent a lot of time on Bella Vista in Green Valley and similarly built complexes and has an excellent understanding of what goes on in the walls. He also is a perfectionist in the best sense. In Las Vegas the most important thing for me to find was an honest and competent mechanic, veterinarian and plumber. I have them all. I am new to the Las Vegas "Summerlin" area and needed a plumber to fix a leaking toilet that my previous owner was to fix but didn't. I was worry about not finding a good and honest plumber that does the job well for what needed to be done and not trying to tell me things that are not needed as I've experienced with some plumbers. So I am very happy to say that finding "Jack Dish Plumbing" in a community magazine was a great thing for me. Dan, the plumber came to my house was an expert, he took quick look at the leakage and knew the problem right away and fixed it quickly. I must add that he was very courteous, professional and gave answers to my mundane questions, which I appreciate. I also got a pleasant surprise, senior discount that I didn't even knew about or asked for and it maybe a small amount but surely made my day since I thought their price was already fair. I purchased a Toto Toilet from Amazon and they offered removal and installation at a reasonable price thru 3 local plumbers. At first I passed as I have a couple of go-to companies and contractors I already use. But, changed my mind after reading the Jack Dish reviews on Yelp and thinking I could always use another vendor as I buy and remodel apartments, etc. You just can't know enough good people in the construction/remodeling trade. They called to confirm my appointment immediately after my Amazon transaction closed. David, my plumber, called when he was on his way. Very personable, did a great job with a tricky shut-off valve that was too close to the unit and the result was a beautiful installation. David was very low key, knowledgeable and polite. It wasn't until he was finished and ready to leave that I found out it is a family owned business with he, his brother and his father. Very happy customer. I have been a loyal customer of Jack Dish Plumbing but I recently had an unfortunate experience with them. I originally had them install a water heater in December of 2016.It was a Bradford White model, which failed in October of 2018. At that time, they told me I would have to pay $500 labor cost to replace it like for like, since it was under warranty. It failed on June 20th, 2020, a Saturday. I called the emergency number twice, left messages, no one returned my calls.When I reached them on Monday morning, I expressed my disappointment and asked them what they could do for me. Jennifer said she would get back to me. When she called back, she said she knew it was frustrating, but their was nothing they could do for me. I was angry and devastated, after being a loyal customer. I couldn't believe that they wouldn't stand by their service and product. Obviously, they are no longer my plumber. Jack Dish replaced a water heater for me and a minor replumbing from the water heater to the water recirculating pump (to make the new water heater fit the space). Six months later, one copper elbow in the replumbing sprang a leak, squirting water into the bottom of the water heater. When I called on a holiday, he explained how to stop the leak, and offered to come out immediately at NO COST. I agreed he could come out the next morning, and he showed up promptly at 8:00 AM as promised. He fixed the faulty elbow (it was a bad part -- not his installation problem). But he could not get the water heater to light the burner -- the water leak apparently ruined the control panel of the water heater. He left to get a new part for the water heater, returned promptly, and installed the new part. The water heater works perfectly again. And the best part: absolutely NO COST to me, even for the new part. He obviously backs up his work. Don K. read more

Jack Dish rocks!!! I've used them a couple of times and recently needed to replace my home water filter. I spoke with Joey and we discussed the difference from water softeners and filters. I had a filter when I purchased my home and it was fine with me. And, no maintenance. Great job and a good price. Nelson was my tech and also changed my shower head and handle (chrome to brushed nickel) and love it. I'm getting rid of the gold 2000 fixtures. I had a Roman tub with no access panel and I know that would be a challenge. It was a Moen to Moen conversion but I didn't have the right items to do it. He tried. So, I got the Moen conversion kit this week and he showed up today and it worked!! Nelson is great and I will request him with any plumbing issues I have. The staff at Jack Dish who answer the phone are fantastic (Cara I think I talked with). Anyway, Jack Dish is and continues to be my go to team! Thanks so much! read more

Jack Dish plumbing is the absolute best plumbing company in town, hands down. They are family owned and operated, which is a huge factor in how they do business. They know what they are doing in their business model, which works out very well for the consumer. Specifically, they come out on time and call in advance, they assess and advise what the problem is before starting work and quote you a price that is fair and reasonable based on the scope of the work. I have been using them for more than 15 years as our plumbers and they have become close family friends. No job too simple or complex for them and they are very friendly and easy to work with. I think their reviews speak for themselves, and Jack, Joey, David, Dan and all of their crew have always taken really good care of our plumbing needs so we will always have them do our work, big or small. It's always challenging to find a really good plumber/plumbing company. Jack Dish is a nice family owned and operated company and they will do the right thing to protect their name. They have been doing work for us for several years, and just being in business today and making it through the great recession is a testament to their business. So Joey and I only had one issue with the last repair he did. He used a "Shark Bite" fitting right after the VGK lost to the Sharks. So we talked about it and found some humor in it, but agreed it is a really good fitting. Our service has always been great, but we also understand and appreciate the trades groups and the expectations for one stop repairs. For these reasons, it could push an appointment earlier/later and require another visit. You can't satisfy 100% of the people 100% of the time, but Jack Dish does us right. read more

I called to this company for an estimate as a second estimate for the main water line replacement or fix. I explained this to the lady who do management. They sent plumber to my home to look where is the main water line is and how much work it require for fixing it. Water leak was obvious. It was discovered multiple times. When main gate valve closed the water meter continued water calculation. I did not asked to discover it. Next day I was waiting for an estimate after their visit to my home. They disturbed my tenant for no reason during their visit. Next day I called for an estimate but instead I got an offer for leakage detection for $325 for my approval. I disapprove it and they refuse to provide me what was originally requested. The lady was so rude. I am very disappointed and do not understand why they have so many good feedback. read more

We scored the BEST plumber so we want to share our experience. First, scheduling our appointment in the same week we called was a breeze. The morning of our appointment, we received a call from Ryan that he was on the way. It was nice that the promise of a phone call was fulfilled so we knew we were his next stop. Ryan was most pleasant when he arrived. He was friendly yet very professional. We had purchased a Moen faucet and Ryan was able to install it quickly, yet he was not rushed. He took ample time to be sure all aspects of the faucet worked properly and he made sure there were no leaks. He then cleaned up and it was as if he had never been here. Jack Dish is my go to plumber. They have been for years. My water heater went out las Sunday when I noticed it was leaking water in to the catch pan it was. sitting on. I had placed a water leak sensor in the pan so I caught the leak right away. I called Jack Dish and left a message. First thing Monday morning, Jennifer called to make an appointment for 1 - 3 PM that afternoon. First, Josh showed up with my new water heater at 12 noon. Then Nelson arrived at 12:30 PM to take out the old one and install the new one. I elected to have my hot water recirculating pump replaced as it was 21 years old and making noise. The pump saves wasting cold water waiting for the hot water to make it to the faucet. A couple of hours later Nelson was all done and we had hot water again. I returned from a week-long vacation to find that my water heater had died. I called Jack Dish Plumbing at 10:00 AM, and Jack himself was at my house by 11:30 AM. It was clear that I needed a new water heater. I had a reasonable quote within minutes and the water heater was replaced immediately with the arrival and help of one of Jack's employees. They took care of the years of dirt and debris in the water heater closet without being asked. They even removed and disposed of an old broken water softener for me! They were kind, friendly, and informative. Where else can you get same day (even, same HOUR) service with a major appliance replacement?! I cannot recommend Jack Dish Plumbing enough - I hope everyone will trust my review when I say they are truly the best plumbing service company out there. read more

They are the best! In the middle of the afternoon our water heater began to leak. Having used Jack Dish plumbing for a previous emergency I knew that they would do everything they could to help us. Within minutes of calling Jack Dish Plumbing, they had one of their plumbers call me and walk me through the steps to shut down the system to avoid flooding our garage. We were out of immediate trouble and it was late afternoon, so they said that they would juggle their work schedules and replace the water heater the next day. The plumbers arrived first thing the next morning and replaced our hot water heater. The job was done professionally and the work site was clean when they finished. First time with Jack Dish. Call their office and spoke to Jen who quickly scheduled a no-cost assessment. Nelson was out the same day. I had a water leak slab. Nelson was able to identify pretty quickly. Nelson returned on Monday with Josh to re-routed one hot water line and replace a defective water heater. They worked to minimize the number of wall holes needed to pull down the new piping. I wasted almost 2 weeks going through 4 plumbing companies when I should have selected the "first" --i.e. Jack Dish Plumbing. Other plumbing companies estimated 2 days to fix the water leak. Jack Dish re-routed the hot water line through the attic crawl space, installed a water heater and left the place spotless....in less than 6hrs. Pretty impressive. read more

Last Saturday we came home to a leaking water heater. I shut off the water to the house to prevent flooding. Our Home Warranty Company gave me the name of their plumber. I called the plumber and their first appointment was Wednesday. We went without water in the house for 4 days. On Wednesday, their plumber tried to railroad us and add extra parts to pad the bill, it would take days to order the heater and he wouldn't do anything to restore at least the cold water to the house. I said no thanks. I called Jack Dish. Their plumber came within 2 hours and did a temporary fix to restore the cold water to the house. I have a home in Henderson, NV that developed a sewer back up problem. The first plumbing company I called out diagnosed the problem and told me the cost for repairs would normally be $2,995, but since I was a senior citizen, for one day only the cost would be $2,595. I told them that I wanted to get another estimate and they said ok, bye. I then contacted Jack Dish Plumbing and they gave me an estimate of $2,365 which was better, but what was really impressive is that they not only did a great job, but they took photos of their work so I could see and have a record of what they had done. Jack Dish Plumbing was amazing!!!!! We had a leak under our slab that left us devastated. We were without water over Memorial Day weekend for three days. We had another company come out that wanted to blindly cut holes to figure out the leak. We asked them to leave and off the recommendation of a friend called Jack Dish. They offered to come out right away but it was late. The next morning they had detected source of leak and had restored water to the home. Nelson was our plumber and was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and understanding of the situation. We will use them for all future plumbing needs. We used Jack Dish plumbing (service tech Phillip) for the first time today and could not be more pleased with every aspect of our experience with them. They were fast to schedule the initial call, as well as the follow up service call. They are extremely courteous and friendly and, most importantly....HONEST.
