I find there are lots of items marked down and many clearance plus on sale stickers. He often finds super bargains like today! Customer service was good. Plenty of parking at the side of the store.

While looking around, we saw a clothing rack with a lot of clothing on sale. Sifting through it, I found a couple items to try on. There weren't any employees by the fitting rooms, though. I had to ask another employee to find the one working in that particular section to unlock the changing room door. The employee that came was apologetic, as she was on the far side of that section. When it came time to pay, there was one customer at the counter talking through something with the cashier, and it seemed like it would take a while. There was another customer in front of us in line, and she had many items. We ended up going upstairs to the cashier on the ground floor.

This sporting goods store has it all!!…read more Its nice to have a community oriented store which prides themselves on customer service and pays close attention to the customers needs. Most big box stores and corporate sporting goods companies unfortunately have no clue about customer service/relations, they would rather bring you in, sell you whatever they can and move onto the next customer without actually catering to your needs and best interests. Its crucial, most especially when it comes to fitting equipment, that the gear fits right, otherwise it can result in injury or poor performance. Equally with regards to skates, if the skates don't fit correctly, this could result in physical issues with ankles, knees, hips or the lower back... not something to compromise, most especially in youngsters and youth while their bodies are growing and taking form. Even their skate sharpening is second to none! CLP Sports is a community landmark business, having established huge credibility and respect, not only in the Clarkson/Lorne Park area of Mississauga, but also throughout Mississauga, the Toronto GTA, across Canada, the US and even Europe. Why have they remained in business for so long and how have they gained so much respect? Simply because their main focus, as with most corporations is not on "the bottom line, its concentrated in providing the best customer service and providing the best products at the most competitive prices. Sure, you can go out to a big box store and possibly find cheaper products, but cheaper isn't always better, most especially when there is no integrity behind the service. If they do not have a desired model in, they will have it brought in within a couple of days, and they provide competitive price matching. Their skate sharpening is superb, and they offer a special discount card if you prepay, which is easier for when my kids go directly there to get theirs sharpened, as they track this without having to display the card.

All my tune-ups at Pedalinx were professionally done. Pedalinx service has always been friendly and great. Getting the tune-up this year was complicated by Covid 19; demand for bike tune-ups this year went through the roof. I had to wait more than a month for my scheduled tune-up. But the shop did a fantastic tuneup job on my dura ace road bike, and in 1 day! Pedalinx is one of the best bike shops.

One of the two gentlemen, with whom I spoke, was also very polite and friendly. However, I visited this location because of a specific bike they had advertised on sale and when they showed me the bike, I immediately noticed it was not as advertised. They had switched out the front shocks, tires, and shifters for lower end components which were not the components advertised on their website. For all I know, they may have downgraded other components as well that I didn't take the time to notice. While it is possible this was simply a mistake in advertising, I find it a little "fishy". When I asked if they could replace the original components, they made it clear that was not possible so I wonder what happened to those high end components. In any event, I walked out without the bike as it was simply not as advertised. As a result, I doubt I will return in the future. I definitely plan to warn my riding buddies and caution them against buying a bike from Pedalinx.

Very helpful and easy going, with stock that seems to turn over very very fast ( and 3 times in days looking for items and there were new options available on each visit!) This should be your first stop if you would like to experiment with any kind of sport since the staff is knowledgeable and used to dealing with first timers. Silly questions won't bother them, they are accustomed to it. Prices are very reasonable and they take trade-ins of your old gear. At least they will take their used gear back the next day or the next season if you want to trade up or get a different size. Then you will only pay the difference and help support the store with renewed stock, a very cool idea! So there you go - no excuses when someone says, 'Let's go skating!'
