I experienced accelerated growth through the program by Rick Snow. He truly cares about his students. The program structure and direct feedback helped me tremendously. She started with zero experience on a guitar and is now occasionally playing live gigs with Rick in restaurants and the like. Rick and his process have been fabulous for our daughter's growth not only on the guitar but as a person. When we started she would have been mortified to get up in front of a restaurant full of people and do anything. Rick has helped her get over that anxiety and find her inner confidence. We would most definitely recommend Rick to anyone who is looking to start learning to play the guitar or anyone who is looking to take their skills to the next level. Rick is a truly genuine and caring person who is wonderful to work with.

Took our son here to start piano lessons the last week of August. They require you to keep a credit…read morecard on file and to pay for the month up front which becomes relevant in a minute. After 7 weeks, he has had 3 of his appointments cancelled and taking him in for his 8th lesson they refused to refund the cancelled lessons or to credit them for upcoming lessons, saying that they can only reschedule the missed lessons so he would have 2 each week (but when each lesson is set to be practiced at home for a week, cramming in a 2nd lesson serves no benefit to our son, and seeing the teacher's lesson board, they are so overbooked that it would never occur anyway.) If looking for lessons for yourself or your child, I highly recommend you look elsewhere, as Music & Arts seems to be nothing more than an assembly line devoted solely to store profits and customer service in trying to deal with this has been abysmal. Will have to take further up the chain to resolve, but has been one of the worst customer service/retail/music lesson experiences in our lives.

She has been most accommodating to his crazy schedule and always positive in reinforcing his progress. I have recommended friends to her and her colleagues, and all have been most satisfied. My son's new interest in playing the guitar he received from Santa will prompt us from taking lessons from one of Nadine's guitar instructors. Nadine's love of children and passion for music is a winning combination. I highly recommend her and her studio!!!

I went to Taylor's Music Store intent on purchasing a vintage Martin D-28. I asked Len…read more(President/Owner) for some help looking the guitar over. I am still a beginner in the guitar game, but I am very particular to the "sound" that a guitar makes. I like the sound of a guitar with rich base tones, which was why I was checking out the Martin. For whatever reason, I just wasn't hearing the sound that I was expecting. Given his experience, Len understood what I was looking for, and showed me a brand-new Yamaha TransAcoustic TA3 Grade all solid wood guitar. Talk about a complete 180 from the vintage Martin, but as soon as Len started playing on the Yamaha, game over, I was sold! The guitar has an internal speaker that sounds amazing and features a built-in loop option. Not only that, but the guitar sounds amazing with the electronics turned off! The new Yamaha was a couple of hundred dollars less than the vintage Martin and came with a lifetime warranty! No brainer! After purchasing my new Yamaha, and per Len's advice, I returned to have the guitar tech at Taylor's adjust the action to better suit me, free of charge! Thank you, Len and your team for an outstanding experience! I would definitely recommend Taylor's Music Store! Regards - Ben Percy

Our daughter studied with Deborah from 6th grade through her senior year, and the experience has…read morebeen extraordinary for her and for our family. Deborah brings a rare combination of deep musical talent, genuine love for the piano, and unwavering dedication to her students. She creates an environment where young musicians feel supported, challenged, and inspired. Across these seven years, Deborah offered far more than weekly lessons. She opened doors to meaningful opportunities, music theory study, the Guild, adjudications, summer programs, and even performances at venues as special as Carnegie Hall. Every experience was thoughtfully chosen, impeccably organized, and designed to help our daughter grow not only as a pianist but as a confident, expressive young artist. Deborah runs her studio with exceptional professionalism and care. Her process is clear, structured, and beautifully executed. She knows how to bring out the best in each student, and her attention to detail has shaped our daughter's technique, musicality, and discipline in ways that will stay with her for life. We are deeply grateful for the impact Deborah has had on our daughter's musical journey. She is an extraordinary teacher, mentor, and guide, someone who has given our family a gift we will always treasure.

Our three children were all instructed by Mrs. Rodgers from when they were in preschool. My wife…read moreand I are strong believers in the value of learning a musical instrument and piano is the ideal choice for such young children as it doesn't require the physical dexterity of stringed or horned instruments and the theory that is learned applies across all musical forms. We started our kids early and required them to take lessons until 8th grade -- I can honestly say I've never heard anyone say "I wish I didn't know how to play the piano." The opposite is usually the case. Our kids loved learning from Mrs. Rodgers so much that even though we only required it until 8th grade -- they continued taking lessons through high-school with her. The mark of any teacher of young children comes from one thing only: their genuine love of children. Mrs. Rogers loves her students. She is not only an outstanding musician in her own right, her patience and teaching style -- which comes from her love of children -- makes her an outstanding musical teacher. If you go to a certain website called youtube and search for "carolyn playing carol of the bells" by frendyglasser -- you will see a 14 year old student of Mrs. Rogers playing an original Carol of the Bells arrangement by Mrs. Rogers. After watching you can judge for yourself...
