My son has been taking piano lessons with Nadine since the days of her instructing students from her home. She has helped encourage his love for and interest in music. She has been most accommodating to his crazy schedule and always positive in reinforcing his progress. I have recommended friends to her and her colleagues, and all have been most satisfied. My son's new interest in playing the guitar he received from Santa will prompt us from taking lessons from one of Nadine's guitar instructors. Nadine's love of children and passion for music is a winning combination. I highly recommend her and her studio!!! read more

After having taught private flute and piano lessons for several years from her home, Nadine Valotta opened Valotta Studios (located at 213 Pottstown Pike) in 2012. Since then, Valotta Studios has grown significantly, and now offers private lessons for many instruments, Kindermusik, music therapy, birthday parties, and interactive group classes.

Meet the Business Owner: Nadine V.

Nadine J. Valotta is a private flute, piano and Kindermusik teacher in the Chester Springs, PA area. Nadine graduated from West Chester University of PA with honors earning her bachelors degree in music education with a concentration in flute, piano, and music history in 2011. At WCU, Nadine participated in several bands and choirs, as well as the top premiere auditioned ensemble, Wind Ensemble. She recently received the West Chester University of Pennsylvania's 2011 Senior Teacher Excellence Award and was accepted into Pi Lambda Theta Educator's Honors Society. Earned her Masters in Music Education with a concentration in flute performance at WCU in 2014. She is Level 3 Certified in Orff (an elementary methodology of teaching music). Nadine also is a Kindermusik Licensed Professional after completing the National Kindermusik Curriculum. So I still give this lovely park 5 stars despite lacking one of those cool splash pads like some of the surrounding parks. Each area of this particular park is so carefully attended to... the picnic tables, pavilions, play structures (oops, there I go again). And the bathrooms are so clean! A sure sign of high performance parks n' rec. It's never overcrowded which is great. And we parents with kids are all civil and nice... it's like we all watch Daniel Tiger together or something. Haven't been to any concerts or big events. Big downside for me is that the running trail is only 9/10 of a mile which leaves a dunce like me who failed the fractions test in grade school completely clueless as to how many whole miles I've run. Just kidding... I don't run. Is that the ice cream truck I hear? Gotta run.

Six miles of asphalt trail surround Lake Galena. It is handicapped friendly. Plenty of benches along the path to sit and watch the water activities. We will be back later in the season to check out the wooded trails. We took a short walk then drove around to the other side where there were pavilions and a nature center whcih I will discuss in a separate review. From our brief visit, this Doylestown park has a lot to offer. Fishing, boating, picnicking, birdwatching and more. We will be back for sure to explore more.

I have had both of my children taking lessons at Valotta Studios for almost a year and half. It had been such a positive effect on both of my kids. Not only are they learning the basics of music and techniques from qualified music educators, they are are learning great life skills like responsibility, self discipline and respect. I love how all of the teachers take the my entire child and their personality into account when teaching them. Even the owner takes the time to check in and make sure we're satisfied. Over all I think Valotta studios is a clean, great family environment! read more

My son has been taking piano lesson with Nadine at Valotta Studio for years and our experience has been nothing short of amazing. My son has learning disabilities that make it more difficult for him to learn the material. Nadine customizes each lesson for him, as she does for every student, so that she can meet his individual needs. I have spoke in depth with many of her teachers and they are all kind and extremely knowledgeable. The studio is Nadine's heart and soul and it shows. read more

I would not recommend this studio. The owner is very unprofessional and amateurish and ineffective business owner. She was not very involved and seems only interested in the money and not the benefit of the student. It is not a very welcoming environment and I would suggest if you are interested in pursuing private lessons that you take your child to a more qualified and genuine place of business. read more

I had recently joined my kids up at Valotta Studios and I am loving it! I have a little one in the Kindermusik program who just loves her music class and socializing with the other kids & moms. I also have an elementary student taking lessons. The teachers are so accommodating a friendly. The studio is clean, bright and cheery with good parking! Love this place! read more
