He got angry right away and gave me attitude. At that moment I thought maybe he had a bad day that day. So I waited for next billing cycle, then asked him for a notice prior to any unexpected charge or a receipt after charge. Again, he got mad instantly and rudely told me, "I don't have time. If you don't like it, you can go." Does he have anger management issue? I dont know. But for sure I won't send my kids to B2R anymore.

I guarantee that you'll have no regrets and that you'll probably not even recognize your new beautiful voice. She's by far the absolute best coach I've worked with.

I am so grateful for my caring, supportive, and talented teacher, Lindsay. Without her I would not be at the level I am at today. Every week I look forward to my lessons. I could not possibly be any happier with my lessons and teacher.

I went to Taylor's Music Store intent on purchasing a vintage Martin D-28. I asked Len…read more(President/Owner) for some help looking the guitar over. I am still a beginner in the guitar game, but I am very particular to the "sound" that a guitar makes. I like the sound of a guitar with rich base tones, which was why I was checking out the Martin. For whatever reason, I just wasn't hearing the sound that I was expecting. Given his experience, Len understood what I was looking for, and showed me a brand-new Yamaha TransAcoustic TA3 Grade all solid wood guitar. Talk about a complete 180 from the vintage Martin, but as soon as Len started playing on the Yamaha, game over, I was sold! The guitar has an internal speaker that sounds amazing and features a built-in loop option. Not only that, but the guitar sounds amazing with the electronics turned off! The new Yamaha was a couple of hundred dollars less than the vintage Martin and came with a lifetime warranty! No brainer! After purchasing my new Yamaha, and per Len's advice, I returned to have the guitar tech at Taylor's adjust the action to better suit me, free of charge! Thank you, Len and your team for an outstanding experience! I would definitely recommend Taylor's Music Store! Regards - Ben Percy

The staff there have become like my personal musician's counsel. They listen, understand what you are looking for and match you with the right product. They wont try to up-sell if it doesn't fit the need, as a matter of fact they down sold me on an amp (even though I was willing to pay more) because they wanted to keep the business and build trust. I felt compelled to write this review after seeing other reviews which mostly are positive, however, I saw a couple that were not. The prices are on point and they always have specials and deals, so i disagree that prices are high. and with regard to the 1 rant that they wouldn't drop everything to re-string someone's guitar on the spot: 1st they don't have someone on staff that does nothing but re-string all day. 2nd, when they do take your instrument in for what appears to be a simple service, they polish and condition the guitar, adjust the rod, string and fine tune it all for about $20.00. Again, I WON'T do business anywhere else other than this specific location when it comes to my needs. My son also got a bass there, takes lessons and the staff were sure after a few months to offer him a change in teacher because he was excelling and needed a better fit (shows you how tuned they become)

Both of my children took piano lessons at the Nelly Berman School for years, and I myself restarted…read moreplaying the cello (after decades away from the instrument!) by taking lessons there, too. The standards of musicianship at NBS are very high, and the school does a great job of combining those standards with a supportive and encouraging community ethos. I strongly recommend it for families who are seeking a serious and fulfilling musical education/experience. Quite a few of the students there aspire to and achieve careers in music, but it is also a great place for children (and adults!) who want instrumental music to be an important part, but not the biggest part, of their lives.

Excellent teachers, difficult management and inflexible schedules…read more The teachers are wonderful. The director is extremely talented at music and teaching, but managing a business is not her talent. We had to discontinue our lessons here for a number of reasons. First, it was extremely expensive. Second, it was very difficult to reschedule lessons, and you end up losing money if you can't reschedule within the semester because you still have to pay, even if you didn't get all your lessons. Third, it was very disturbing to receive disrespectful voicemail and email messages from management. It was also annoying to receive multiple emails a day in all caps for lessons and performances that do not even apply to you. All parents receive emails for all instruments and age groups, so it's really annoying to see multiple mass emails a day. You also get nickeled and dimed for every second. There's not even time to chat with the teacher for a few minutes after the lesson because there's another student scheduled and waiting until the second your lesson is over. Some personal anecdotes from this school include being lectured and screamed at over the phone about taking a family trip and having to miss a class, instead of waiting for when the director was in Florida on her vacation.... not only was this disrespectful, but we didn't even miss class or go on vacation, as they mixed us up with a different family. Another anecdote is being charged for lessons that were rescheduled due to the teacher's schedule, only to find that unbeknownst to us, the director hired a substitute teacher 24 hours before the lesson, but we had no idea and then received rude emails and voicemails. Fantastic teachers, but we couldn't handle paying that much money for all the harassment and stress. I'd recommend this school for very serious students who want the teachers enough and are willing to pay top dollar and deal with the management.
