I feel she's a bit of a diamond in the rough compared to other piano teachers of her skill level. Her prices are very reasonable considering her level experience. I highly recommend lessons from Deborah if you or your child are ready to take piano seriously and are willing to put in the time and effort to succeed.

Blondell is a treasure. I've been taking classes with her for 5 years now. I drive 45 minutes to…read moretake her class and many others do the same just because Blondell is that awesome of a teacher. She transformed my curiosity for sewing into a full blown hobby and skill. She not only can teach you everything you need to know to get started making your own wardrobe, but the amount of tricks and tips she can share to make sewing easier or overcome obstacles is priceless! You're not going to get that kind of teaching from a book or a 1 day Joanne Fabrics sewing class. It also helps she is hilarious and we often laugh as we sew. If you really want to learn and grow your skills I highly recommend sassy sewer classes with Blondell!

Everyone I've met there is exceedingly friendly and professional. I had tons of alterations and repairs done there by BJ and I'm so tickled. I picked everything up yesterday-- my pants were hemmed perfectly, and she repaired a family heirloom vintage dress for me in a manner that you couldn't even tell it had been redone. This dress was hard for me to hand off to a stranger because it means a lot to me and she did such a wonderful job. I'm even having her use an old pair of favorite pants to make a pattern to make a couple new pairs. I was shocked how inexpensive it was! If you have sewing needs, this is the place to be.

I have been playing piano for a long time but couldn't read music. Amy was great, she had me…read morereading music in just a few lessons and taught me proper fingering, scales, sheet music marking etc. I also took vocal lessons from her, my singing is much more confident and in tune. We also worked on expanding my range. Amy is very nice and very welcoming. She has a ton of experience as a piano teacher so she was able to get me working on the exact skills I need to focus on. She she teaches kids too, not just adults, but she made me feel very comfortable even though I was lacking a lot of the basic piano skills as an adult. Thank you, Amy!!

My daughter loved going to see her and she made the whole experience fun, engaging, and productive! As a result my daughter ended up singing/acting in several community theater performances and a good time was had by all! What is so great about her class is not only her clear passion for kids and music, but that she uses all kinds of instruments and encourages the kids to try them as well. Her classes fill up very fast so be sure to register early.

My daughter is 7 and has been receiving tutoring through Total Tutoring for several years. I…read morestarted my daughter young because I feel that her education is very important. At first the sessions were great! The tutors were effective and my daughter made a lot of progress in a short period of time. Honestly, I was very happy with the results of the tutoring sessions, and as a result, decided to have my daughter receive Spanish tutoring. I contacted Total Tutoring and organized for a spanish tutor to come to my house for weekly lessons. These sessions were scheduled for 30 minutes at the request of the tutor due to my daughters young age. The lessons began in September of last year, and as of today, she does not understand the phrase "Hola, como estas?". Needless to say her progress has been minimal. During the time my daughter has been receiving lessons from her tutor, Nannette Simmons, I noticed that she was consistently showing up late and leaving early which is discouraging considering the cost of each lesson. I contacted the agency to express my concerns and asked for a different tutor. I was told by Total Tutoring that they would try to find someone new to replace Nannette. Yesterday (December 2nd), the tutor again showed up late, so I decided to set a 30 minute timer. No surprise, the tutor was leaving early. I informed Nannette that should would no longer be tutoring my daughter and told her it was because she was consistently showing up late and leaving early. After each tutoring session we receive an email with a session summary; this is meant to highlight progress and address areas of weakness for my daughter to work on. I received the session report for the final summary and it was blank. I contacted Total Tutoring, cc'ing Nannette, expressing my opinion that this was unprofessional. I received an update session summary which was even more unprofessional!!! Nannette's updated session summary placed the blame entirely on my daughter!!! She took no responsibility for her actions. I responded to Total Tutoring again, extremely upset with the unprofessionalism shown by Nannette. Total Tutoring's reply was that they should have edited her comments before sending them to me. They took no responsibility for Nannette and did not acknowledge her unprofessionalism even knowing my frustration. They did not apologize for her comments, only stating I should not have seen them. Total Tutoring would get a higher review because they do have some good tutors, but customer service is key to me. I need professionalism and I need a good example for my daughter. I am active duty military and I have zero tolerance for adults who place blame everywhere but on themselves while taking no time for self-reflection. The images attached are images of the communications and session recaps as proof of this companies inability to remain professional.

This is an honest review so please read it in its entirety. This is a grimy hands on no kidding…read moreget dirty school. Love it! The teachers are laid back subject matter experts. Pro or cons depending on your point of view: - School has a dress code but the teachers don't enforce it. Lots of students running around with headphones on and using their cell phones during class time. - Need to smoke? Just step outside and when you are done, just throw your butt on the ground, no worries. - When the students return from lunch, you can often get a contact high from all the pot smokers. In my opinion this is a great school, and if you have discipline you can learn a lot. You get what you put in for sure. With that said, it would also be easy to screw off and graduate with nothing but debt also. That's my two cents, take it for what it's worth.
