I told him I wanted about 3 years of damage cut off and I was prepared to lose several inches of length and he cut less than 1. The hair color application was super sloppy - I do way better when I dye it at home! The cost was cheap, but I would happily have paid more for a better result. I had to immediately run home and try to wash the dye from my neck and face and the steam from the shower made the color run everywhere like Rudy Giuliani that one time. I'm no expert but I don't think that's supposed to happen with a professional job.... super bummed out. Sorry guys - I love to love a local business but I can't this time. Update : I ended up washing my whole head because it was staining everything. Now my whole scalp and fingernails are stained blue. Changing review to one star because I didn't go to a salon to meet a nice person - I went to get a good haircut and color.

After an appt was made in person , was scheduled for a haircut a wk later at 6pm. The day of the appt an hour before they called to cancel via text. Agreed to reschedule appt for the following week but gave 2 options on times. I choose the 5 pm slot via text after Brook gave me the times. I texted to confirm on the time and message was never opened, confirmed or could respond back. Day of appt I texted Brook confirming appt, no reply. I called and left message on her cell phone and no reply, sent another text to confirm appt and yet another no reply. My guess is after seeing this Hispanic in Amherst enter their salon REFUSED to take care of me and had no intensions in doing so from the very beginning. Truly Sad!!
