I went to Lady Luck's salon with a picture of what I wanted. A short-ish cut that had a few ragged edges that I like. The stylist looked at the picture, I think. When I left, I looked like a man in my 70's recovering from an illness. Not only was the cut at least 2" shorter than I wanted, it seriously looks like a man's haircut. It's been 2.5 weeks since the cut. In 2-3 more weeks it will be just long enough to go to another salon to have it fixed. I won't go back.

She is efficient, but does take the time to do it right and make sure you're happy. I wear glasses so couldn't see a thing during the cut. 15 minutes later, she brought out a mirror, let me put on my glasses, and there are multiple clear BALD spots on the back of my head. I confronted her about it, she first denies it. I then take a picture and confronted her with the picture, she has the balls to say it's because of the way hair grows. I told her this is ridiculous, she just said, what do you want me to do then. If you ever consider a cut here, spend the money in a CVS for a pair of scissors and cut it yourself - and that's for sure gonna be better that what's she's gonna do to your hair.

The stylist who attended to me was not the usual one, and she left my hair completely blonde!! It was like I went from being a brunette to Shakira overnight! I would never in my life ask for that kind of artificial and overdone blonde, and even less without consulting me. Also , during the process, before I realized the mistake, the stylist after two hours told me she didn't have time to cut or style my hair and that I would have to come back another day What ??? She left the dye on my hair for almost THREE HOURS, which I'm sure didn't help the situation. I was starting to get worried as the time went by, but I trusted that she knew what she was doing. Boy, was I wrong. When she finally rinsed out the dye, my hair was completely ruined. When the other stylists realized the damage, they tried to fix the mistake with a toner, but the result was .... OMG : now my hair looks gray It's unbelievable that they couldn't get it right in the first place, and their "solution" was even worse . I've been a client for three/four years and I never imagined I'd receive treatment like this. The lack of recognition and condescending attitude of the staff was what bothered me the most. They said, "This is the color we always do for you," acting like it was true. There was no "Sorry, we made a mistake".They acted like I was crazy and it was all just a fabrication!! Needless to say, I left without paying. Now I'll have to go to another salon to try to fix this mess. I have photos of my hair before, during, and after the disaster, so I can prove the evidence . I don't recommend this salon to anyone. The lack of professionalism and the staff's attitude is unacceptable. Look elsewhere for your hair needs.

For starters.. I needed a hair cut. Badly. At this point, it was almost a year if not longer since…read moremy last cut. I used to be one of those people that insists that it's cheaper to do my own hair. Notice I said "used to be". Normally I'd bleach my hair at home, color it every couple weeks or month depending on what mood I was in. At one point, I even had dreadlocks. Which over the years & in the end.. took a nasty toll on my hair. I finally decided to let it be healthier & try to better my ways. This being, letting a professional handle it. Anyways, my cousin had told me about this salon - she has been coming here for a long time. I reached out to Tiffany for a consultation. Although embarrassed, I told her about all of my past & recent hair mistakes. I did want some coloring done - my hair was covered in dark box dye with some bright red underneath it somewhere. I knew my hair was damaged, but as a priority, still needed a cut regardless. She helped me make an appointment to visit as soon as possible. On arrival, I was greeted by her assistant Madie. Super nice & smiley - which I loved. She guided me to the chair & put my cape on. She even offered me a beverage. I was already loving this place. Tiffany greeted me shortly after - also, super nice & friendly. At this moment, I loved everyone's personalities. Tiffany cut my hair & Madie had washed and styled it. Both of the ladies were very informative & explained every step they did along the way. I left with a fresh do & an appointment for color! About a week later, I returned for color. A fresh balayage. Tiffany knew about the dark box dye & underlying red color on my hair. We went over a few photos I had picked out. Dissected them together, figuring out what would work best for me. I went into this journey knowing that we might not be able to lift my hair to be as light as I picked out - I was okay with that. I really appreciated the time they put into helping me understand everything. Madie & Tiffany both worked on my hair as a team & conquered it. In the end, with a few processes and treatments later.. we were able to get a fall inspired color (much lighter than anticipated). We named it "pumpkin chai". In the future, I can return to have it lightened further. For now & for fall tho.. I'm gonna leave it be. I'm very happy with my experiences at Vivid. Their knowledge and expertise is far beyond other salons. They're constantly furthering their skills whenever possible. Which is super important to me. Staying on top of current trends, colors or processes - is how you stay the best! I would recommend anyone to give them shot.
