Halliday House - Love the big table

Halliday House

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sunshine House (3 Bed, 2 full bath), and I honestly…read morecan't say enough good things about it--it truly felt like a home away from home. From the moment I walked in, I was immediately struck by the warmth and care that went into creating such a welcoming space. Every corner of the house radiates good energy, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything I could possibly need. The cookware was high-quality, and there were plenty of utensils and gadgets to make cooking a breeze. It really felt like the kind of kitchen where you could get creative with a meal, which I loved. The space itself was spacious and well-thought-out. The open layout made it easy to move around, and it felt both cozy and expansive at the same time. The living room was comfortable with plush seating and subtle decor that made the space feel homely. There were plenty of windows, so the whole place was filled with natural light during the day, making it feel fresh and airy. One of the highlights, though, was the outdoor space. The backyard was an absolute dream--perfect for sipping morning coffee or enjoying a glass of wine as the sun set. The hosts were another big part of what made this stay so special. Not only were they incredibly welcoming, but they were also a fantastic resource for exploring Page Springs/Cottonwood/Sedona. They gave me some amazing recommendations for local hikes, including a couple of hidden gems I probably wouldn't have found on my own. Their tips made my outdoor adventures so much more memorable. Also, for anyone working remotely or needing reliable connectivity, the Wi-Fi was solid--fast and strong throughout the entire stay. And as for the location, it was perfect. I loved that it was just a short drive away from some of the best local wineries. The area felt serene and peaceful, yet it was close enough to all the action that I could easily spend the day touring vineyards, hiking, and then return to my cozy retreat in the evening. Everything about this place made me feel at home--it's clear that the hosts put a lot of thought and care into creating a space that's comfortable, functional, and full of positive vibes. I would absolutely stay here again, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

We were welcomed by a spotless room with the fresh Jerome wind blowing through the windows. Restroom was fully stocked and super clean. We had a microwave, min fridge and coffee maker. We were pleasantly surprised with two wine glasses as well as a ticket for a free sandwich at the Hilltop Deli (delicious stacked sandwich place with AMAZING view of Jerome). I highly recommend staying here. You can tell the owners take pride in their home as well as in the town. We were extremely pleased and have absolutely no complaints. Some places to check out: Haunted Hamburger for mouthwatering margaritas and burgers (veggie options available), Flat Iron Cafe for your breakfast coffee fix, Caduceus Cellars for rich & divine wine and small bites (top of the line customer service by all staff members) and the Jerome State Park for a fun and educational presentation on the old copper mining town. I highly recommend putting on your comfortable walking shoes and taking a walk around the town. Explore and take lots of photos. Jerome is a breathtaking town with many kindhearted residents.

We had the whole floor to ourselves and a balcony overlooking Jerome and Sedona! There was a coffee maker with fresh coffee beans to grind with the provided grinder. Refrigerator, Microwave, couch, loveseat, dining room table, huge comfortable clean bed. The loft has huge windows around it so you have a spectacular view from most sides! My husband and I can't wait to come back and stay! We travel a lot and this is on our top 3 stays!!!! Thank you!

On our first morning, we arrived at the restaurant around 10:45 a.m. and were told breakfast service was ending. Our only options were to wait for lunch or try room service, which wasn't guaranteed. This was especially frustrating given how far our room was from the dining area. We asked the front desk if we could place a room service order without returning to our room. Although the concierge tried to help, no one followed up for about 15 minutes. While our server was kind, the manager, Ryan, made no effort to resolve the situation or take accountability. Despite the dining area being nearly empty, we were told we could not be seated and had to take our breakfast to go. Hoping for better service the next day, we ordered room service again and were told the wait would be one hour. Our food arrived an hour and twenty minutes later. We were also told the Duck Pond pool was open 24 hours, but when we arrived it was dark, unattended, covered in dirty towels, and had no clean towels available, giving the impression it was closed. While the setting is stunning, the disorganization and lack of service significantly impacted our stay.

This is my 2nd time camping at LoLoMai Springs! First time I came was for my first solo camping…read moretrip, and now was with my partner. We loved it! Site 62 is where it's at!! It poured the whole first night but second night weather was lovely. We spent our days fishing and caught a lee bass. (Beware fishing line graveyard in the trees, they will eat your supplies!!) Campgrounds are as beautiful as I remembered! The bathrooms/facilities are well kept, and you can request electric + water at your campsite. If you are afraid of the kiddos, know there's a lot of them scampering around these parts!! Also shoutout Lisa (I believe is her name), who jumped our car on the way out. You saved our cheeks! Bonus points for the friendly felines that can be seen up towards the front- they have kitties that sometimes come say hi!! Can't wait to stay again, thank u friends!

The reservation staff handled this modification without issue. Be sure to fully understand the cancelation policy. Numerous reviews about the nightmare. Upon arrival, there was a slight misunderstanding, but it was quickly resolved. The location is picturesque, featuring tall trees, a serene pond, and a running creek, along with amenities not typically found at other campgrounds, such as a swimming pool, laundry facilities, showers, and a playground for children. The creek was the highlight of our trip. However, let's not overlook the reality we faced: with the hefty price tag for this slice of paradise, a few upgrades wouldn't go amiss. Our cabin's air conditioner was so loud it sounded like a jet engine preparing for takeoff, making family conversations feel more like a yelling match. There are some spider webs in the cabin. I don't mind them, but they might freak someone else out! We rented the small cabin which had a toilet which was an absolute plus. The cabin bed/mat's could use an upgrade. We just brought our air mats. They worked fine. The loft bed was comfortable according to my teen. So, the only WiFi was by the clubhouse, which I was totally fine with. Every now and then, I'd get a text coming through while inside the cabin. Very spotty. We brought our pups along and made sure they were on their best behavior since the rules said no warnings for noisy dogs--if they barked too much, guests would be asked to leave. Oddly alot of dogs barked, which is ok in my book. There's also a cute little store on-site for all the essentials and some snacks! Great location, just about 30min to nearby Sedona or Cottonwood. In summary, a beautiful escapade with a few quirks, just enough to keep us entertained and on our toes! I've read multiple reviews of the staff. We're fortunate not to have a bad experience.
