They picked us up from our hotel, made several stops including clean bathroom breaks and couple gift shops. Overall, the tour was amazing. Although we only spent 45 minutes at a horseshoe Bend, we were able to take some awesome pictures and walk around. But definitely the highlight was Antelope Canyon. You can only go on a tour here with the Navajo guide and our guide Ray was fantastic. We spent about 1.5 hours at lower Antelope Canyon. He really made the tour fun, informative, and he took the best pictures. The photos do not do it justice. The experience was just unreal. Each term that we took we were in awe. The downside was our tour guide Brandon. Although he was very friendly, he didn't seem that knowledgeable. Maybe he was having an off day but there were a couple times that he stopped mid sentence while telling a fact and even ended a fun fact with blah blah blah to finish up his sentence. At one point, he even started chewing on a candy or something while hooked up to the microphone. This was really annoying. We still had a very great day just a couple things that didn't make it a five star experience. Did you have a lot of options for tours and their office is located centrally in the uptown area.

We were picked up in a small luxury bus that seated 14 people. Our tour guide was Sheldon and he was absolutely wonderful! He had a cooler filled of water waiting for us on the bus too. Our first stop was Horseshoe Bend. It was so gorgeous there ! The hike to the bend is about 1.5 miles round trip and it's actually up-hill in both directions. It's not bad at all though. There's no shade so I wouldn't like doing it during the summer! It's also a sandy trail so wear appropriate shoes! Our next stop was Glen Canyon Dam. This is where we were given our boxed lunch. The view here was so pretty ! It was nice to sit in the grass and look over the dam during lunch. The boxed lunch was really good too ! It was a turkey sandwich on marbled rye bread, Poor Brothers kettle chips, macaroni or potato salad, and a chocolate chip cookie. Our final stop was Antelope Canyon. We were handed off to another tour company in Page run by the Navajo. We got into the back of their truck and were driven to the canyon. It was about 15 minutes from the tour company. Our guide was great, although I can't remember his name. The canyon itself is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my life ! The Navajo guides space the tours out and keep them moving so it's not a clusterf*ck inside. They also take great pictures for you ! I noticed the guide was putting my iPhone on the "chrome" setting and adjusting the brightness. All pictures turned out great ! Make sure to put your phone down and enjoy this place though ! We had plenty of bathroom stops to and from this trip. We stopped at the Cameron Trading Post, so if you're looking for Navajo souvenirs, you're in luck ! I would also recommend bring breakfast or snacks too.

Not too much detail is provided on the website, so we were unsure what to really expect. We didn't know that the pick up time would be at 615am from our hotel followed by a 3 hour drive to page, however time flew by! The entire way up, our driver Shelton, shared some awesome history about the regions we were going through. We made plenty of potty breaks along our trek. He took us to horseshoe bend, Glen Canyon Dam and Antelope Slot Canyon. We were provided a rather large lunch too! Overall the trip was an all day experience however it did not seem to drag on as some other tours I have been on. I would highly recommend this tour, even to locals. You will see a side of Arizona that will amaze you!

The tour was 2 hours long and hard is navigating rocky trails in an off-road Hummer that fit 11 people. The tour was through rocky areas that aren't open to regular vehicles. The kids loved the bumpy ride as the Hummer crawled up the terrain. Part of the trip had us right on the edge of the cliff which was an amazing experience. Halfway through, we stopped and got out to take pictures and explore a bit. Chris pointed out all of the plants and told us about the wildlife in the area. I am afraid of heights but thought this would be a challenge to help overcome that fear along with enjoying the experience with the one I love. It was AWESOME!!!!!!!! The whole experience was something I will never forget. Watching them prepare for flight was so interesting. The crew and pilots showed such expertise at all that they did to prepare for flight and after landing. They were knowledgeable and welcoming. Upon take-off, well, let's just say, I did not even realize we had taken off, it was so smooth and all of sudden you start seeing the awesome views all around you. I did not feel a tinge of fear then, or throughout the flight. Our pilot was Jake and I can't give him enough hurrahs for the wonderful flight and totally remarkable landing. I thought it was awesome to be the first balloon up and the last to land. Perhaps not planned but gave us a bit extra airtime. :-) He was a great tour guide but still maintained his pilot position with precise professionalism and experience. He was a great pleasure to be on board with. He took great care to ensure everyone was enjoying the flight and feeling safe. Thank you Jake for the wonderful journey. I also want to extend a huge thank you to all of the crew. You are all remarkable. I strongly recommend this experience to one and all.

That is good because the light pollution is low and it also means the stargazing is probably far better than probably wherever you came from. So, for the "tour," you drive out to the middle of nowhere--to a school, actually--then you walk with your group and guides to a field where they have chairs, blankets, and a bunch of massive telescopes set up. The blankets help but dress warm. In fact, dress warmer than you think. With the wind, it was very cold out during our experience. Now, for stargazing purposes, it is definitely better if the moon is not full, and it is also better if it is not cloudy, but nature constantly reminds us who is in control. We had an almost full, extremely bright moon, and plenty of clouds. But we still had a great time checking out the various stars and planets and even the moon itself. If you are able to plan your tour, try to do it when the moon is at its darkest. The entire tour, if you want to call it that, lasts about an hour. It is not a thrill a minute experience but it is educational and, for those into astronomy, fascinating. This is definitely not for younger kids but mature teens might enjoy it. Plus, you almost certainly will see at least one falling star.

There were three telescopes set up, and 6 people sharing. It was really cool how the guides could just push a button and the telescopes would adjust to view the particular spot they were describing. The guides seemed really knowledgeable. My advice is to wear warm clothing. It was really cold when we went in late May. Our tour was at 10pm. They do provide chairs and blankets, which was much appreciated. Like other reviewers, my negative would be the cost. It was $150 each for a one hour presentation. It was a neat experience, but not worth that much in my opinion.

Clint took in to consideration all these factors and designed a wonderful journey that involved splashing in the sacred waters below Cathedral Rock (his special spot by the water far away from the tourists), the wonderful Amitabha stupa and of course his lovingly hand made medicine wheel where he performed a special vow renewal ceremony for the two of us.
