I hired Hill's Catering to cater my daughter's wedding and it was one of the smartest things I did…read morein the whole planning process. First and most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious. We had a smaller guest count than we'd planned for because of COVID stuff, so even though we all ate until we could barely move, there were leftovers, and let me tell you, it was not hard to give them away when we were packing up. Secondly, the food wasn't fussy. I'm sure they could do that if you wanted them to, but we wanted simple comfort food and it was perfect. Chicken & waffles, cajun shrimp in phyllo cups, ham biscuits, a beautiful vegetable tray, deviled eggs, things like that. Just delicious. Writing this review is making me hungry! The third highlight was the reasonable cost. Even at a time when a lot of caterer's were raising their prices at the last minute, Hill's Catering was very reasonably priced, and they were very good about saying, "here's the less expensive option, or if you can spend a little more we could do this," etc. The last wonderful thing is Mrs. Nita Hill herself. From the first email, I felt like I had a planning partner I could trust. I even hugged her when I finally met her in person, and people, I am not a hugger. She is super conscientious, a great communicator, and a heck of a cook. All the other details were just as they should be: they showed up in plenty of time, brought plenty of help, got to work, brought extras everything we might need, checked in often, and left the place spotless. There was seriously not one thing I would change. If you want real food, good food, or real good food for your event, talk to Hill's Catering.

Rustic interior with wooden benches and tables, across several seating areas and an outside patio. We were greeted walking in and seated in the same moments, our server was kind and attentive. We started with an appetizer, their Jalapeno Cheddar Hush Puppies. A nice serving of golden brown pups and a dipping sauce. Great flavor and just a hint of spicy heat. A good start. After giving the menu a good read, I opted for the Calabash Shrimp and Flounder. Its another solid choice if you're there for the seafood. A nice meal with golden fried shrimp, a couple flounder filets with hush puppies, slaw and potato salad, cocktail and tartar sauce. This is good comfort food cooking and it works. I enjoyed my meal very much. 4 Stars good food, fair prices and kind staff 01277

Having never been I was a bit overwhelmed by all the choices and let my wife order for us while I found a table. The floors were sticky, the table was stick, and some moron was on their phone using speaker phone. My wife ordered two Philly Cheesesteaks making one a 'jumbo' to include onion rings, fries, and a drink. Service was friendly & helpful for us newcomers and the food was delivered quickly by the friendly staff. So as much as I was concerned about sticky floors and all that, the food really was delicious. The cheesesteaks seemed to be more bun than meat, but honestly it was a perfect balance of meat, cheese, grilled onion AND a PERFECTLY crispy AND soft bun. The sandwich truly was magnificent and really well balanced/proportioned. I thought the rings were a bit under cooked, but I was fooled again! Onion was soft, well cooked, and flavorful. Fried were definitely undercooked but I don't generally eat French fries so all good. Cole Slaw was middle of the road. I struggle with a rating but sticky floors, sticky table along with a few environmental things really drag down my overall perception. Friendly/competent staff and an excellent sandwich will hold a steady rating of three. Would I eat there again? It is on of the few unique non-chains in the area and I know what to expect going in. So if I need to stop on the area, I'd more than likely stop again thanks to staff and food!

Best thing we had was the buffalo chicken wrap. I'll update the review once we come back again. I'm gonna pass on the fries and onion rings next time though, they aren't with the extra $3. The restaurant feels like a diner but you order at the counter and bus your own tables. Pete's has so many items on the menu I'm sure we will find our favorites soon!

I knew that Eddie's wasn't open today and this was my only chance to get one. It's been awhile since I'd eaten here and I couldn't resist the temptation! My two dogs were a solid three stars and I'll most likely return. Logan Street has been serving good hotdog's in this same location since I was in junior high school! That's a long, long, time ago! The girls who waited on me did an excellent job! They really know how to treat customers and I like that a lot! This is a good place to eat inside or on a warm day on the outside! I recommend them!

I decided to eat from Proc's Kitchen. The family was very nice and friendly. I ordered a grilled beef ( comes with 2 hotdogs with chili)hotdog plate. The plates come with your choice of two sides. The sides were fries, mac and cheese, fried okra, baked beans and Cole slaw. My two sides were fries and mac and cheese. Expect there to be a little wait time because the food is prepared when you place your order. Every thing came out hot and was fresh. The hot dogs were delicious, the fries seasoned just right and crispy, the mac and cheese was "black people" mac and cheese(as one of my nieces' calls it). It had plenty of sharp cheddar cheese in it, not just melted on top seasoned just right with black pepper and other seasonings. I went back for a second helping of that. Several of my family member ate food from Proc's they all enjoyed their food as well. They are located in Spartanburg, but travel to other places.
