People make mistakes. To respond in such a reactive manner as a business, as a service provider, simply is poor business and customer service. To treat a client for well over 10 years in a manner that eases the transition the business is experiencing as well as the client within the business is simply what makes sense as well as quality business practices. What makes sense in a situation such as this is for the business service provider to listen, understand and correct the problem in a respectful and courteous manner. Then allow the client to decide whether to give it another go, select another accountant within the practice to work with, or select another accountant outside of the practice to work with.
