I first stopped in this shop in late summer 2016. Having lived in various places around the globe,…read moreI immediately appreciated the variety of pieces currated under one roof. While Slidell is a hub of sorts for the surrounding areas, it is not typical to have such a progressive selection. Anyway, fast forward 3 years and the pieces I bought back then are still of top quality and every time I wear them I continue to receive compliments. The items here are the perfect blend of sophistication with understated sexiness. Just love. They carry some brands I know & love (like Free People) and others I'm not as familiar with but happy to take a risk now that I know they stand the test of time. Stopped in yesterday and happened upon a sidewalk sale - great deals on amazing items! I don't think they advertize these types of sales, so stop in often to see what's new. Super friendly staff itching to help you find the perfect pieces - so appreciative of the warmth & genuine enthusiasm As it happens, the owner was in the shop that day & after having met her, I can honestly say the desire to find unique pieces and cater to others shines through her beautiful personality. The shop itself if so cute and beautifully displayed - it's such a treat to now know that beauty comes from a genuine place beyond superficial appearances. May sound silly, but I will enjoy shopping there even more now, knowing this.

I'm not big on jewelry or anything too expensive. But purses? Purses tempt me like no one's business. I've got it bad in particular for Michael Kors. That man is a genius and his designs are downright gorgeous. Also downright expensive. T.J. Maxx has a plethora of purses (including MK purses) among other things like clothes, makeup, furniture and shoes that are made by high end designers at discounted prices. I'd be lying if I told you I looked at any of the other things in this store but the purses, however. The smell of the leather, the way they feel, how they are just oh so pretty keeps me in the purse section of this store until I'm made to leave. Security usually gets called because I'm fondling them all weird and creepy like. Ok, not really, but I'm sure someone is looking at me on a security camera while I'm in the purse section thinking to themselves that I need a life and I need one ASAP. The merchandise here rotates so frequently that things go on clearance fairly often. That means even more of a discount for you, so if you love a bargain like I do check in often. When you come, look for me. I'll be in the purse section. :)

Dillards seems to be a staple in the south, so without Nordstroms as an option nearby, I gave it a shot. Great selection. Not the scummy feeling I get at every Macys at all. They had middle of the road designer clothes similar to Nordstroms but not really the super high end stuff. I got some Eileen Fisher and Tommy Bahama as well as Lucky and then some other brand of jeans I had never heard of but love. Basic bit-- clothes and that's what I was looking for. They also had some cute individual pieces that if I had a bigger suitcase...those were way less basic but I had to back away. The staff was really helpful, pointing me to some recent markdowns. So suddenly my impulse shopping trip turned into a bargain trip. Leeann was the woman who helped me and she was very attentive and helpful. Clean and organized - the store felt like it might be relatively new. Ended up rolling out with two new jeans and two shirts. All good.

Then I still earn more savings with their Kohls cash. They have lots of name brand items. The staff is really great too. There isn't too much to choose from in each dept in store but you can go online and find more stuff. The store is always clean and orderly and the bathrooms are even cleaner. My favorite dept is their jewelry dept. Really nice stuff! Its hard not to want to buy bling at each visit. I also love the savings I get when I buy shoes. With the Kohls cash, and sale going on, I managed to buy a pair of classic Vans tennis shoes I have had my eyes on for a little more than half the price. I also like their charge card. The minimum payment is always $27. I pay more every month of course...but there are times when the budget is tight and I feel at ease knowing I can just pay the minimum and I won't brake the bank. Great place to shop and save on name brand items.
