Horrible service. I was installing a breaker switch on my breaker box. I've basic knowledge but…read moredon't know all the different types and whatnot. I went to Home Depot first and they had a guy help me but didn't have what I needed, so I called this place. He answered the phone with a "what do you want" kind of attitude. If I didn't call two other places beforehand I prob would've hung up right there but I needed it. I told him I needed a Siemens 40amp breaker switch, he didn't ask any questions about what type, style...etc. and I don't know enough to mention any of that. He said he has it so I drive 40 min to the shop. When I walk in there is no one in sight. I start walking down the ridiculously tight aisle saying "hello", "excuse me", and when I make my way to a point where I can see the front desk again, this guy is just standing there, leaning on the counter. Didn't say a word. No, "hello I'll be right with you", or literally anything else to let me know there was someone there. I was snaking up and down each aisle so at some point he had to of been on the other side of an aisle or something, hearing me request help. I walk up and say, "Hello, I'm the one who called about the breaker". I had the old breaker in my hand as a reference for myself. He walks around the counter, still not a word said and then he looks in my hand and says, "you didn't tell me it was a CH". I said, "I told you everything that the people at Home Depot told me and you said you had it. I don't know that much about breaker switches". He replies, "well you didn't say that and I don't have that kind". I tried to ask a couple of questions and he kept cutting me off, putting his hand up at the same time like he was telling me to stop and not finish my question. He says he's trying to educate me and my response was he wasn't doing a good job. Keep in mind I've been polite, smiling, offering greetings, and doing all the normal things you do when meeting someone, and he's acting like having a customer come in was the worst thing that could've happened that day. After I said that he says, "ya know what, you can just get out!" My response was, "happily, forget you and forget this store". Then I left. I've read other reviews of this place after my visit and they seem pretty mixed. Some say the owners are rude and others have good visits. I'll never step foot back in this place. I've worked in customer service for years and everything that happened was a perfect example of terrible customer service. So bad that I'm writing this review and I've NEVER written a review for a store before. In fact, I had to create this account in order to write this. Hope this helps others. Next time, I'll just wait a couple of days for the Home Depots supply order to come in. Safe wishes.
