There are so many fantastic things to say about Anthony and his business it's difficult to know where to start... First, he provided us with the most straightforward, reasonable upfront pricing per sq feet of installation of the floor and baseboard. Second, prepping the floors is unquestionably essential for the life of the floors and the warranty of the materials. Because of the downright disgusting renters who trashed our family's home before we moved in, our subfloor was trashed, and we were extremely nervous. We had moisture issues and uneven surfaces. I was honestly worried about the prep work. Anthony and his talented team provided seamless cement transition and leveling solutions at minimal extra cost! Third, Anthony's communication and response time are the most professional I've ever experienced with any previous contractor. He showed up on time and gave constant communication throughout the entire process. He finished the work on time, and we could not be happier with the results! He also linked us up w/ his supplier, and we were able to find the exact light color flooring I was looking for. Finally, Anthony is a genuinely wonderful person. He and his team are kind, trustworthy, and the quality of the work was outstanding. We will absolutely be calling Anthony for any future projects we have. Enter Tom and his team from Superior Coverings. Tom came highly recommended from a friend who had their floor done by him and they had a relative that used him as well. He came by and measure our space and got an estimate to us quickly. He is very personable and a pleasure to talk to. The work was done the beginning of January and Tom did a phenomenal job. Even when the crew ran into problems (our concrete slab under the carpet was not level enough to put the floating floor down, so it took a few days of grinding) they were professional and courteous. He is very professional, meticulous and thorough; I couldn't have asked for a better tile install. My wife and I are extremely happy with the results and will be using him for our future tile work. Seriously, give this guy a call... you will not be disappointed. James works alone, which in my mind, makes all the difference in the world with regards to detail and cleanliness. If you're looking for a tile installer, Accurate Tile should be your go to contractor.

Two years later we're still very happy with the shower tiling done by James. (Meant to get to this…read moreback in 2022, was just reminded when a neighbor asked for a referral.) The previous shower wall had deteriorated beyond repair as I had discovered when I tried to repair it, so James wound up being our pick to strip the old subway tile shower down to the studs and replace it with materials that were up to code. We chose the design and selected and bought the tile, but James installed it and handled all the trim, everything but the glass shower door that was installed after we took these photos. He even came back and took care of a couple of minor touch-ups without complaint. The whole project turned out to be a lot more expensive than we anticipated, as these things do, but James' quote was in the ballpark.

We were interested in refreshing our…read morefireplace in our modern home and had always dreamed of having a black marble fireplace instead of just white drywall. I Yelped and found Del Mar Tile and Stone and checked out photos and crossreferenced everything. He had stellar reviews everywhere. John the owner came out within a day or two (on a Sunday!) to look at the project and gave me a quote the next day. The project involved tiling on the fireplace surround and also into a cutout for our TV and the vent for the fireplace above. The quote was fair for the amount of work involved and I thought, hey if he's already there maybe get him to re-do tile in one of our bathrooms (a much smaller project)? I texted him a video and measurements of the space prior to him working on the space and he was able to quote the bathroom without coming back! Super cool. The quality of work is amazing. I am a detail-oriented, visual person and with the beautiful black marble with white veining that we chose (with a fluted pattern!) I wanted to be particular with what tiles we should use and which we should not. He was more than accommodating and we have a beautiful, beautiful fireplace now and a gorgeous bathroom. Not everybody could do this job. It was technical as a fireplace surround. The tile contractor had to use the right mortar and he had to level it out just right. As we homeowners know, rarely is your house completely true and flat and square everywhere and the tile had to be done to accommodate all of the imperfections in our visually perfect house. The corners and leveling had to be perfect. He had to carve into drywall to make the corner of the fireplace square. It was crazy and it would have taken me decades of experience to do this myself (enter John). The cutouts for the fireplace and the TV surround had to be perfect. The bathroom turned out flawless as well. John is an awesome person and was so kind and courteous to our pets (he told my dog Thatcher she was beautiful) and was respectful of other contractors we were having at the house at the same time. His son Hunter and his other employee Carlos who worked with him were conscientious, clean, and all three were just all around good people. Please see photos! They do not do the fireplace justice!
