Finally got time to review this awesome business! AJ and his crew were absolutely awesome. He is a genuinely honest and great person--super laid back. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and made everything easy and by far the most affordable one we consulted. He took the time to explain the process and what he was doing because I have no knowledge about flooring whatsoever! So I felt very comfortable and confident moving forward. He was very communicative and I really appreciated that about him. This is our first home: a 1600 sq ft condo and the floors needed some love. We totally redid all the flooring: LVP throughout common areas and plush carpet in the bedrooms (not shown but oh so comfortable!) We are absolutely in love with the finished project and I'm always happy whenever I walk into my new home. Such an awesome end result and impressive he was able to get done less than 2 weeks just by himself and one other person off and on as he needed. I would totally recommend him. You've got the right guy if you choose AJ's Elite flooring!
AJ's team did a wonderful job installing the vinyl floors in our house. Their pricing was reasonable and the quality and workmanship was great.
Received full payment but never finished his job! I hired him to do my condo carpet and floor in a house. During the job he kept switching up schedule which was fine with me since I was still flexible. He promised to come back to finish a T mold by the door and a piece of baseeboard after I paid him fully. That's when the problem comes. He kept pushing back the schedule and making up excuses not to come finish the 20 mins job. I let it slide for the first 2 times but the 3 time he didn't come And refused to pick up my call. I texted him and tell him to call me back that's when he called me back and had a very bad attitude. Then he said he would come in and out and just finish the job the next time and hung up on me. He didn't show up the next time and that's the end of our contact. I ended up buying the toools and materials myself and finish the job as shown in pictures. *UPDATE* Owner commented that I didn't pay for the service for the t-mold which was a complete lie. The whole service including floor installation as well as t-mold, I have text message to back it up. Also, he never communicated with me, I reached out to him every time close to the schedule arrive time. Another part that he didn't finish was one piece of baseboard in my condo. After the last phone call in which he said he would come and finish it, he didn't come in and no contact after that. That is when I decided to do it myself
We needed to find someone to install some laminate flooring super last minute. We were so happy we were able to find Anthony who was willing to stop by and install it on a Sunday. He was super nice and his pricing was very reasonable. He ripped up all the old carpeting, we provided the laminate we wanted that we had purchased from Home Depot, and he did the rest. He even took our old carpet to dispose of it for us. He was very quick, professional, and had a wonderful attitude. We are definitely saving his information and will recommend him to our friends and family in the future.
I love my new floors! AJ and his team removed carpeting from stairs and floors being extra careful to eliminate squeaks. They cleaned up after each day. AJ was helpful in working around my sked since i had family visiting mid-install. They were professional, respectful and fun to be around. I always try and support Black owned businesses and this decison did not disappoint. I highly recommend.
Being a first time home owner, I didn't know what I wanted as far as flooring goes, but I just knew that I wanted something other than carpet. Since I wanted to get my floors done, I knew that I did not want to pay a large sum of money, but I also wanted quality work, so I began a long search. I talked to different contractors before settling on Anthony, and I am glad that I did. I was blown away by my experience with Anthony and his team. They were really professional and did an amazing job on the installation of my vinyl floors. They paid attention to every detail, which was pleasing for someone as picky as I am. I even got one on one education about materials, and all aspects of the job including problems that they discovered about my home during their work. One thing that I really liked about Anthony was his EFFICIENCY. I wanted to move in fast and wanted the work to be done, and he went above and beyond what was expected. His prices were also affordable, which was music to my ears, but I'm glad that I also got quality superb work. Honestly, I wanted to hire him and his team for other things that I needed done at the house, but unfortunately for me, his only expertise were on flooring. I truly love his work as can be seen from the before and after pictures, and strongly recommend him.
I can't say enough about Anthony and his crew. He's knowledgeable, friendly, honest, kind, efficient, punctual, does over and above outstanding work, and has excellent communication skills. When he came for an estimate, he used a measuring tape and then gave suggestions about the different flooring and colors with examples to install flooring in our entire rental apartment. We had a couple other estimates who used laser measurements and were not the installers. The estimate he gave was clear, well written, and separated the materials from the labor. Everyday Anthony and his crew came to work on time, set up, worked, swept, and cleaned up better than any workers we have ever hired. We had painters before him that I had to clean up after each day. Anthony takes time to be particular paying attention to details about the finished job he is doing, not many workers do that these days. The finished job was flawless, all rooms were seamlessly connected, and the transition and baseboard workmanship was outstanding. I can't recommend using AJ Elite Flooring high enough as he lives up to the name of his company. Thank you Anthony!
Incredible flooring contractors! We love our new floors. AJ and his team were so flexible working with us and never tried to upsell on product or labor. His costs were the best just like the end product. His team went above and beyond expectations. If you're replacing floors, these are the guys to hire!
A friend of mine referred me to AJ's Elite Flooring and I'm glad he did. They were very professional and did a great job installing tile in my master bedroom and bathroom. They really know what they are doing and were very helpful. I didn't know much about flooring and Anthony was vary willing and helpful to help and advise me on the right material/ color scheme/ grout etc. Above all the team was pleasant to have around since the were very kind and respectful. Jamil was also very helpful. I will definitely rehire them when i start my next flooring project!
AJ's Elite flooring did a excellent job installing vinyl in my entire home 1166 sq ft to include stairs. I requested several estimates and Anthony beat all of them. The team was very patient with me through out the decision making phase and was very attentive and responsive. I highly recommend AJs Elite Flooring for all your flooring install needs.
AJ's Elite Flooring did a great job on our floors! We had carpet removed and installed in a guest bedroom and vinyl planks in our great room. Both rooms looked so good that we've contacted AJ's again, to do the rest of the house next month. They completed the job quickly, yet the quality of work was not compromised as a result. Everyone displayed professionalism, there was no major mess left behind, and their services were reasonably priced. I'm totally satisfied with the work performed. Therefore, I highly recommend this company.

This review is long overdue! After receiving rounds of overpriced ridiculous quotes for vinyl planking floor installs, my husband and I are so thankful to have found Anthony! There are so many fantastic things to say about Anthony and his business it's difficult to know where to start... First, he provided us with the most straightforward, reasonable upfront pricing per sq feet of installation of the floor and baseboard. Second, prepping the floors is unquestionably essential for the life of the floors and the warranty of the materials. Because of the downright disgusting renters who trashed our family's home before we moved in, our subfloor was trashed, and we were extremely nervous. We had moisture issues and uneven surfaces. I was honestly worried about the prep work. Anthony and his talented team provided seamless cement transition and leveling solutions at minimal extra cost! Third, Anthony's communication and response time are the most professional I've ever experienced with any previous contractor. He showed up on time and gave constant communication throughout the entire process. He finished the work on time, and we could not be happier with the results! He also linked us up w/ his supplier, and we were able to find the exact light color flooring I was looking for. Finally, Anthony is a genuinely wonderful person. He and his team are kind, trustworthy, and the quality of the work was outstanding. We will absolutely be calling Anthony for any future projects we have. If you need any type of flooring installed (laminate, hardwood, vinyl), don't hesitate to give him a call! read more

I don't usually write reviews but I felt I had to for this company. Why? Because this guy and his worker are really freaken good at what they do. Not only that, he is probably the best price in town for laying down floors. We had estimates from others but AJs beat their prices by a mile. Me and my wife also like how punctual, communicative and courteous he was. They rarely took any breaks and stayed until the job was done. Shit, if I ever going to buy more property here in San Diego again, I'm for sure going to hit up AJ again to do my flooring for sure. read more

Worst thing I have ever hired, he was not honest from the beginning , he lied the planks on an even area and didn't know what he was doing, after less than 1 years floor started to show signs of lefting at edges and when floor failed he blamed the material and he came for the next time to fix the second floor he glued the planks to the underlayment not to the floor and same issue happened again! Lastly he was talking with curses on phone when we talked about the failures and how to fix! Unprofessional and Skillless and even dangerous with anger issues and cursing! Do your self a favor and find someone else read more
