I got a 2013 Kia Sorento LX on February 11th, 2023. Within a few days, I had to take it back in to have the whole underneath worked on from the middle of the vehicle to the rear end. They did replace that free of charge. However, I had to rent a car due to it being cold out, and I needed to take my daughter to school. They did reimburse me for the rental, but it took them 6 months to do so. I saw there was a sticker on my windshield to get the oil changed by a certain date. When I took the vehicle in to get it changed, their mechanic threw a fit about changing it before the milage was reached. I don't drive that often besides to and from work. With that said, I never reach the 3,000 miles in 3 months. Regardless, he changed the oil. After I paid, I asked him how it would cost to flush the transmission fluid. He told me they "don't do that because it would open up a can of worms and could possibly cause more problems for the vehicles." I knew then and there I needed to get another vehicle to give back the Kia. The salesman, my fiance, and I worked with was Donny. He was very polite, knowledgeable, and got us out the door pretty quickly. My only problem with Donny was that he told me there were 0 recalls with the Sorento. I did research after we went home with it to see if there were 2 recalls open for it. 1 recall was for the windshield. It is easy to take the windshield off to break into the car. I didn't care about that one because I had gap insurance. However, the 2nd one I cared about because I have two children that would be in the vehicle with me. There was a fuse in the engine that needed to be replaced. If this fuse doesn't get replaced, the engine could catch on fire. With this being said. I do NOT recommend going to JD Byrider in Hermitage, PA. read more
