I'd rate this with zero stars if I could. This business should come with a warning sign - BUYER BEWARE! My daughter made the mistake of buying a car here. It had a current insurance inspection & oil change sticker. Three weeks after purchasing the car, she was stranded on the side of 376 with a car that had died. I had to pay to have the car towed to JD Byrider's. Turns out the oil change sticker was a lie. The oil hadn't been recently changed. The car died because there was NO oil in the car. At all. The engine was shot. She's now been without the car for a week with at least another week before she gets it back. But she's still having to make payments on it while she finds alternate ways to get to work. They would have paid for a rental, but only if she paid for the rental up front and submitted the invoice for repayment once her car was fixed and running again. So unless you can afford to pay $350 a month for a car you can't drive, avoid this place like the plague! read more

I would like to give them no stars. I told my daughter not to buy from them but she did anyway. They told her she only qualified for one car because of bad credit. The car has been in the shop more than it's been out and I told her don't take it to By Rider to get fixed because they don't fix cars correctly or they wouldn't have sold this one. These people should be put out of business. If you buy a vehicle from this place, you will regret it with every ounce of your being. Total rip-off. I got a vehicle there after my son wreced my car, and within 50 days of purchase, the first check engine light came on. I was told to go to an auto shop and get a code reader. When i called them back, I was advised, " No, that isn't covered under your warranty". 1800 dollar repair, not even 2 months after driving it off their lot. This began a series of multiple breakdowns and tows, each time, when I called in to Byrider, I was advised, "Warranty doesn't cover ANY of it". After $7,993.57 cents out of pocket to oay for repairs just to keep it on the road, I had a starting issue...again. This time i took it to a dealer for the model of the vehicle, who said, in their opinion, the vehicle was probably a total loss, from a FLOOD, and should never have been sold because it was unsafe. I had it towed to another ASE certified mechanic shop, who seconded the Jeep dealership opinion, of it was a totaled vehicle, with evidence that it was in a flood, should never have been sold, and to get a lawyer. The first issue was a catalytic converter, then it snowballd to wiring harness, 2 oxygen sensors, all 4 wheel and hub sensors, alternato, cam and crank sensore, spark plug wires, valves, points, timing chain, 4 wheel drive sensor, and it died in January, with an estimate of 7500 dollars to replace the entire wiring system and motor, nit to mention the mold found under the upholstery. Bought my 2013 crosstrek here less then a month after owning it the horn doesn't work . Spent 4+hours waiting on them to fix and oil change to get down the street and discover they didn't fix the issue at all. Here we are today had a 8am appointment been here over 4+ hours after telling them what the actual issue was being the clock spring . Well today after 4+ hours of waiting car being put back together cause they don't have the part to fix it . One star is way to generous for this place. I wasted 3 hours of my time at this dealership today only to be told they could not finance me a car because I work for Instacart and Doordash. The finance company views Instacart, Doordash, Uber, Lyft, etc. as commercial use of the vehicle and they will not approve financing. I was told that everything else was fine but that one detail. So I was told to "get a real job and reapply in 90 days" So there you have it. If you are an Independent Contractor for any of these companies, JD Byrider does not consider those real jobs! I would not reapply to these people if they were the last dealership on Earth. The thing that pisses me off perhaps the most is that they knew upfront that I worked for these companies because I told both people (Nate and the Receptionist) that I worked for Instacart and Doordash and they both said that was fine. Got my car in december of 2019. I absolutely loved it. 2 weeks later my bumper fell off no big issue called them made an appointment. I then had to cancel the appoint cause of bad snow in january. Then I scheduled a new but had to cancel due to work. When I finally got in for the mechanics to look at my car. I watched the put my car on the lift quick look 20 minutes after it went in it was out. The claim they would never sell a car in that condition and claimed it to be my fault. My car has never been un unpaved roads. When I had another mechanic look at my due to my back seat belt not clicking. They said car I have should of never left the car lot due to that being a safety issue. I will never get a car from there again or recommend anyone to get a car from there read more

When I first started my experience it was great. Car worked good, Nate was great. Then all of a sudden my experience took a turn for the worst. Anytime I called to talk to anyone at CNAC or JD Byrider they were extremely rude. This includes the general manager. When I was expressing my concerns to him because I did not have a specific problem with an easy solution and he would have to accept that his employees do not have good customer service skills he acted as if I was wasting his time. Every time I told him something he would throw it back on me. It got so bad that I am just going to give the car back because I don't want to deal with this horrid customer service. They do not care about the customer and their attitude is you need us we don't need you so since they don't need me as a customer I will no longer conduct business with them. They ridicule you and try to make you feel like a piece of crap instead of trying to help you build. They are very sarcastic and lack understanding when it comes to them being in the wrong. The only person that cared about helping my husband and I build my credit was Nate, the first rep I had contacted. And I am thankful that I got to meet him and experience his customer service. I wish they would have him train all others on how to be personable and provide good customer service. This car dealership was the worst experience of my life. Run! Never go to Byrider! They say there's a 4 year warranty on your vehicle but when something goes wrong after a few days of having it. They ask you to bring it in. I brought it in their shop, didn't get the car back for two weeks and all they did was put sealant over my motor. I sent my car in because the transmission fluid leaks everywhere and I got it back still leaking! Second time they said bring it back in. I brought it back they said it needs more sealant. But it actually needs a new motor. They won't fix that though they just want to slap some sealant on delete the code! And calm it fixed. They're crooks everyone's story is very similar all to do with the SERVICE DEPARTMENT. My car is still leaking oil I spend 30 dollars a day in oil to replace all the loss. These people do not leave you alone. This has been going on for more than a year and I have had it. When I first inquired they were helpful and friendly and that was much appreciated. However, one saleswoman in particular literally called several times a week after I politely explained that I no longer needed a vehicle, therefore no longer needed their services. The calls, voicemails and emails stopped, for a little while. Recently I found myself looking for a vehicle again and since their promise is credit is not an issue, I took the chance to see if what they have to offer is really something for me. HUGE MISTAKE. The same saleswoman was back at it again, literally calling every single day and I called the office for a second year in a row to let someone know that this gal was wasting her time reaching out to me because I've found a vehicle and again, don't need one anymore. I wish this was the end. I continued to receive calls, daily, emails, daily and finally I wrote out what I believed to be a firm and polite email asking not to be contacted and that I would reach out if I needed to and when she replied I figured she'd finally gotten the hint. Nope. When a salesperson is contacting you every day with a product in which you do not need, it's off-putting, extremely invasive, unprofessional and quite rude but most of all desperate and annoying. Who wants to do business with someone with what is visibly desperation? If they're willing to go go that length before any business transactions occur, what will your experience be once you start the process of making a purchase? Are they going to rush and potentially cut corners or leave out the fine print to make a sale? Maybe. I've worked in sales, cold calling, in store customer service, call center customer service, in person sales, you name it, I've done it and I can relate with the need to meet a quota and keep a roof over your head. However, when you literally harass someone AFTER they've politely declined your offer several times for a legitimate reason, you've crossed a major line and it is so, so, very unprofessional and I'm so disappointed with the way my situation has been handled over the course of a YEAR. To wrap it up, don't contact this particular location unless you've 100% made your mind up about the company you want to go with when you're looking for a new vehicle, unless you want to be contacted on a daily basis by people who can't understand what "I don't need a vehicle, thanks for reaching out, there's no need to continue to contact me" I do have proof of all of this but as an effort to conceal her name and as to not "name and shame" for lack of a better term, I've decided not to include several screen grabs read more
