But Leslie helped me and WOW. Professional, informative, courteous, intelligent, and wasn't your quintennial "sleezy car salesman". I'm actually impressed with her level of decorum (BMW has no such thing). I spoke to the Manager, Joe Franco (don't get confused with James Franco, yet he was just as comical) and he was a down-to-earth dude that really listened and resonated with my wants and needs. Whoever owns this dealership, give Leslie and Joe a raise, because i usually bitch and complain to no end, yet here I am with no complaints. Good peoples. 5 stars. Would purchase a vehicle here again!

After 3-1/2hrs of trying to contact the service manger, she finally called back. She stated we do service by how long you own your car. My contract clearly states mileage not date since purchase. She was insisting that it's done by date. M/B USA agreed that the contract expires after a certain date but it's the customer who dictates how many miles he puts on in for years. They performed a 30k mile service when my vehicle shows 20,800 mile. So by her logic I can only drive my vehicle 10k before my coverage is up regardless of age. How can you perform a 30k service when the vehicle has 20k. This is Mercedes Benz isn't there slogan "When only the Best will do!" NOT in San Juan. My wife never approved the previous service and the service manager said we did the 20k service at 15k because of the date. Again, this person clearly doesn't get it or know how to read a contract.

It seems like customer service is usually dependent on the representative with whom you are…read moredealing. That said, I cannot recommend highly enough Toyota of Pharr and particularly their salesperson, Travis Moss. We bought a used vehicle from them and within 24 hours it had developed some difficulties. Nothing too major, the vehicle ran fine, but it had some electronic issues which really burdened us. We reported this to Mr. Moss and he did not hesitate in asking us to bring it in to let them look at it. It was an intermittent problem and I was totally prepared for them to tell me that it was a used vehicle and basically, too bad. However, they really went to the mat to diagnose the problem and try to fix it. They even sent my vehicle to the dealership that dealt with the brand we had purchased to get it fixed. In the meantime they offered us a loaner vehicle since our car was our only form of transportation. At the end of all this, the vehicle was absolutely fixed and the customer service was second to none. If you are considering a new or used Toyota, I would highly encourage you to go to Toyota of Pharr and seek out Mr. Travis Moss. This could have been a nightmare but it was absolutely a very positive experience. Thank you, Travis!! Thank you, Toyota of Pharr!!!

In my opinion this is classic hidden‑fee, bait‑and‑switch pricing. I walked away and will be sharing this with state agencies that oversee dealers. Buyers: insist on a written, line‑item out‑the‑door quote before you waste your time.

Update to my earlier review. A day after I posted my review, Clark Knapp Honda reached out to me to…read moreclarify the issue . They were completely unaware of the problem and extremely keen to rectify it. They apologized for the lack of communication and immediately refunded my money. It would appear that their automated messaging system has its faults, but once they were finally aware of the problem they moved to fix it straight away. I thank them for that. I've upgraded my review to 4 stars.

Shop around if you are planning on getting your vehicle serviced at Clark Knapp Honda. I learned…read morethe hard way how much this dealership overcharges its customers. I agreed to getting transmission service done along with my scheduled oil change (Maintenance Minder 3 - for 2022 Honda Pilot) and opted to wait at dealership while service got done. While I waited I got on the Honda app and decided to check price at Gilman Honda. I was shocked by the price difference on the exact same service. Clark Knapp Honda was charging me $415 while Gilman Honda had price of $259. I thought that must be an error so I called Gillman Honda and service rep quoted me an even lower price of $229!!! By the time a confirmed the price I went looking for my service rep to cancel transmission service but unfortunately I was too late since they were finishing up with my vehicle. The service advisor Susan was the sweetest person and tried to get something done to help me out but unfortunately her service manager Mr. Mojica didn't seem to care much about doing anything for a long time customer. I guess Mr. Mojica knew I had already had service done and not much I could do about it myself. This has definitely left me feeling very unappreciated and somewhat scammed as a long time customer (I have been a loyal Clark Knapp Honda customer and bought 5 vehicles for myself throughout the years and have even gotten my mother in law and brother in law to purchase 4 vehicles from Clark Knapp). Unfortunately I have to say that this will definitely change going forward. My family and I will remain loyal to Hondas but will definitely not be doing business with Clark Knapp. So once again if you are looking at getting service done at Clark Knapp Honda do yourself a favor and shop around and get prices from Gillman Honda and even Honda of Brownsville you could save yourself a lot of $$$ since Clark Knapp Honda seems to be ok with charging customers over $150 what other dealership charge for the saw service.

I made an appointment for several services. When I asked about servicing the transmission, the employee says "we can do it or if you're having problems, you can bring it in later." The point of being there is to not have issues in the first place. They then did it again. When I asked about them checking my car battery which is free, the female employee says "we only do it if you ask and even if we do, it's not a test. It's just a test for if it's good or bad. If your car isn't starting, bring it in to us." I think that's kind of the point of why I was asking. I'm not really into my car not starting. They never offered to check the battery and they only did the transmission only after I insisted. Overall, they see you as another transaction. That was evident when nobody went over what was done to my car until I asked. They were just going to take my money and send me on my way. They don't have much of a sense of what it means to serve people or go above and beyond. They follow their manager's orders but unless you're purchasing a car there, it's not really a meaningful experience. In fact, it's terrible despite that U.S. flag on their dealership's logo which now that I think about it, makes sense given the corporate transactional mindset through which they run their business and take their customers' money without a true sense of service. I'd go elsewhere.
