Our master closet isn't huge but she was able to come up with a design that worked for us and she made adjustments based on our preference. In fact, once all was designed we came up with few more adjustments over the course of the week and Shelli accommodated us without issues and sent us new adjusted designs. We went to see the showroom to get an idea of the set up. From start to finish they did a fantastic job and the installers were great as well. Overall, definitely happy and worth the cost, so far.

My refund request remains unresolved, and I am still waiting for someone with the authority to resolve it to respond. 10/13: Closet America still has several thousand dollars of my deposit, and my repeated calls and messages about cancellation and a refund have gone unanswered and unreturned. The measurement appointment never took place. The sales representative who visited my home was talented and put together a thoughtful closet design. She recommended completing any flooring changes before measurements, so we postponed measuring for approximately four months. During that time, I received no follow-up communication or appointment confirmation. The first notice I received was a phone call from the person coming to measure while I was on my way to work that morning. Given the months without communication, I told him I wanted to cancel. Since then, I have contacted customer service multiple times and reached out to my sales representative without receiving a response to my cancellation and refund questions. Tiffany, who has been courteous and helpful when answering the phone, told me today that the team was in a meeting until 2:30 p.m. and that someone would call me back. By 4:55 p.m., I had received no callback, and my follow-up call went unanswered. When I first reached out in June, I was open to discussing options for my deposit, including using it toward a different project. After repeated unsuccessful attempts to get a response, I am now requesting a full refund. The initial design experience was positive, but the communication afterward has been deeply disappointing. I cannot recommend Closet America based on my experience.

It felt claustrophobic and left little room for family activities or entertaining. A few of our neighbors had hired two other builders to remodel their homes. We interviewed the companies and listened to what the neighbors revealed in their post remodeling conversations. Knowing well that construction was going to be disruptive to our daily lives, we weren't sold on hiring the other companies. I had seen Sun Design ads for years, but they had never remodeled in our neighborhood. When I researched them,I found very few complaints and very satisfied homeowners. Our addition went relatively smooth considering the 2020 lockdowns and related supply chain issues. All of Sun Design's employees and subcontractors were very professional and delivered a quality product. Our entire family is thrilled with our addition, and two years later we have no regrets.

Emilie walked us through every part of the process with expertise and enthusiasm. Emilie gave us quotes for helping pick out design ideas at various cost levels as well as helping us install her vision with appropriate contractors, delivery personnel, and shipping/storing until installment day. In the first round we decided on living room/dining room furniture, wallpaper/paint, art and decor. Once we were living in the home, we realized we needed to update the hardwood floors, which were not standing up to our pack of pets. Emilie helped us then identify some awesome luxury plank vinyl to protect the original hardwood underneath and a fantastic professional to install them.
