5/5 - Honest, Fast, and Truly Saved Our Car…read more Huge thanks to Jesse and the team at West Side Auto Care! Our car kept dying, and we couldn't figure out why. Turns out, the last shop that did our oil change didn't properly seal the oil filter housing cap, which caused oil to leak all over the engine. Jesse diagnosed the issue quickly, explained everything clearly, cleaned up the spilled oil, and topped us off with new oil. All at a very fair price. If he hadn't caught it when he did, our engine could've locked up. They've definitely earned our trust, and we'll be coming back for all our future auto needs. Highly recommend!

The place is clean and comfy as a woman I hate oily mechanic shops where you sit and wait the place is a mess and you might have to use the restroom! Yuck. I'm gonna give them 5 stars and you know that's extremely rare for me! you have to earn it and they did. They went beyond the norm, I do realize because I lived close by made it easier to go beyond the call of duty. The owner drove me back home and picked me up when it was ready. I've never had service like that before! I can't promise you the same service but I get the feeling they do what they can within reason to comply. This is where I'll be having my car serviced from now on! Thanks Carlos and Omar for superior service and knowledge.

I purchased a used truck. The service engine light came on and I Googled "auto repair near me"…read moreSeveral appeared, but I chose Neal's. They had me bring my truck in on Monday at 9am. At 2pm the tech called and told us what was wrong and how much it was gonna cost WOW!!! I was shocked. I said "fix it". Tuesday morning we got the call that it was done. When we arrived it was LESS than we had been told. This place is great. I have and will continue to recommend these folks. Got my business for good!!!

I trust Neal Automotive. I think that is the best possible review you can give an automotive shop,…read moreand that's really all you need to know. I tried several auto shops over the years, and I always felt like something wasn't right or they always had me running around in circles. Several years ago I started using Neal's, and they've been straight with me since day one. On several occasions, they've given me multiple options to help keep my costs low. They always give me estimates before starting work, and they finish the job in a timely manner. The only drawback is that you may have to wait a little bit when you schedule an appointment. But that just means a lot of people go to them and trust them, like I do. No one likes to spend money at the auto shop, but Neal Automotive gets the job done at a fair price. They do their best to take care of you.

Rick runs a great collision shop. As the parent of 4 children now in their 30s, I know something…read moreabout the subject. Rick is a straight shooter who won't let you waste your money. I also appreciate the integrity in engaging the insurance companies who want him to install used or remanufactured parts. He simply won't do it. Estimates are accurate and reasonable. Often the final bill is lower. Due to the volume of business and returning satisfied customers, it may take a couple of weeks to get the work scheduled, but it is professionally done and always looks as good as new.

Much like the other "not recommended" review, I found the customer service at this shop is less…read morethan acceptable. We were given the name of this shop by someone with many years in the automotive industry in the Indianapolis area. We were told they were the best. Unfortunately, we'll never know. Four months after initially contacting this shop and getting an estimate from them, we were told today, they don't work on BMWs any more because they are too complicated with all their computers. We need a hood and a bumper cover. Nothing that requires even remotely doing anything to a computer on my car. In addition, my car is a 2004. There are 2014 Fords with more advanced computers than what my car has. To top it off, my insurance company has already cut them 2 checks to do the work - thank goodness those are still in my possession! I'm not saying this privately owned business has to take every customer that walks in the door. I'm saying that if you don't want someone's business don't string them along for 4 months. Return phone calls and be professional.

Needless to say I was completely overwhelmed and panicked. I took my car to Mikar for an estimate and was told that in fact, the $4500 portion of the repair the dealer mentioned isn't even wrong in my car! The issue in my car was a known Lexus part failure--you would think the DEALER would know about and look for that. I walked out with a repair bill of $1300 (had to replace my rear struts too but for half what dealer wanted to charge). Ted and Mike were awesome, super patient and explained all the issues. I will take my car here for ALL maintenance and any repair that comes up. Even my tires. Such a gem, and so close to home. As far as I am concerned if my vehicles can make it here that's where they're going. I couldn't be more pleased with the experience i had at Mikar. Give this shop a shot. There's a reason they service the exotic Lamborghini all the way to my Maxima. They know what they are doing, you are treated like you should be, and the prices are more than fair. I'll be back.
