On the morning of 6/22, we called to confirm that the keys we left in the drop box had been received. We never received a call that day indicating the work had been completed, so we called again on the morning of 6/23. During that call, we were told they weren't sure why the vehicle was there and had been waiting for someone to call. We were then informed that the calibration would be completed that day. When we picked up the vehicle on 6/23, my significant other noticed that one of the windows had been left down. When he attempted to roll it up, it would not operate properly. What was especially concerning was that no one informed us of this issue before we picked up the vehicle. The window had been left open with paperwork and personal items inside the vehicle, leaving them exposed and within easy reach of anyone passing by. At a minimum, we would have expected to be notified of the issue before taking possession of the vehicle. I called the business politely to ask if anything had happened while the vehicle was in their possession so we could provide accurate information to our mechanic. I was not accusing anyone of causing the issue; I was simply looking for information. Unfortunately, the manager immediately became defensive, raised his voice, and began yelling during the conversation. Rather than speaking to me professionally, he repeatedly interrupted me, called me names, and spoke to me in a hostile and disrespectful manner. He also told me that if I came into the business to discuss the matter further, he would have me arrested. At no point was I threatening or aggressive--I was simply trying to understand what had happened to my vehicle. He hung up on me twice, and when I was finally able to speak with him again, the conversation remained hostile and unproductive. Instead of addressing a legitimate customer concern, he chose to belittle me and treat me with complete disrespect. Regardless of whether the business was responsible for the damage, customers deserve to be treated with professionalism and courtesy. The lack of communication regarding our vehicle, combined with the manager's behavior, made this an extremely frustrating experience. We have contacted our insurance company regarding the damage and will also be filing complaints with the appropriate consumer agencies. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this business. The customer service was unprofessional, communication was poor, and concerns were met with hostility rather than assistance. Based on other reviews it seems this is an on going issue

Lo and behold, my AC decides to crap out during this hot, hot summer. A friend suggested a mom and pop shop near campus. After giving them a call, I was informed that they did not work on AC units. I then asked if there was any shop in the area they could suggest. The gentleman on the other line recommended Sharer's Automotive. I immediately gave them a call. The receptionist, Tracy, was so helpful and sweet. Thankfully, I was able to schedule an appointment for the same day (or else I would've had to drive back home to Maryland in the scorching heat!). Jared, the owner and mechanic, explained to me what was potentially happening with my car. He informed me that to know for sure whether or not there was a leak, he would need to place a special dye in the system. Jared flushed out the AC system and added refrigerant. I then scheduled a follow-up. I went back yesterday to have my AC checked. Jared found some minor leaks and gave me a pair of neon yellow glasses to see for myself (which was pretty cool, I might add!). Oftentimes, mechanics may push for unnecessary repairs and upsells. However, I am pleased to tell you that this was not the case at Sharer's Automotive. Jared was very honest, and the prices were fair. I'm delighted to have found this garage!

I called to set up an appointment around 2pm and was told by JR (body shop manager) that he could take me the very next day! I was so shocked and happy. I brought my car in the next morning. JR and the rest of the staff were very kind as I had no clue what I was really doing. JR called me when it was finished and even called the insurance company on my behalf to complete payment while I was attending class. When I picked up my car, it looked amazing. They washed it too - which was a nice bonus because even my own dealership won't do that unless I specifically ask! I was extremely thrilled with JR's service and the entire experience with Blaise. The thought of a 4 hour drive, mostly on highways, with no brake lights was slightly terrifying. We pulled into Farmer's Choice (I remembered they did some work on my dad's truck a year prior), walked up to the office door and saw Saturday hours were by appointment only. My husband walked around to the garage and found a young man (I'm so sad we didn't get his name) working on a truck and asked if there was any way he could help us. He immediately agreed, switched out some fuses, charged our camper battery, checked our bulbs and cleaned connectors to make sure we were set. He never acted inconvenienced, he never grumbled, he never said we needed an appointment, he just seemed genuinely happy to be helping us. We are usually only out this way once or twice a year but I will certainly frequent this shop again if ever needed and will without a doubt recommend them to anyone in need!
