Very unpleasant shopping experience. I bought some handlebars and the website said 1-2 business days to ship it took 6 days to even leave the facility, and another week to be delivered. I attempted to cancel my order two days prior to it shipping, and they told me I would not be able to because it was in the last stage of the shipping process. Customer service was not helpful at all! This was the first and will be the last time I shop online here. I also found the bars I ordered for 20 bucks cheaper and free 2 day shipping on Amazon... read more

This is a really great company. They have had their hiccups but they truly do care about their customers. Main issue they had was their warehouse...and honestly, the customer service reps don't know too much more than what they see on the computer. Issues stem from Manufacturers, and they have to take the heat for it but all in all this company truly has a great amount of integrity. read more

Lifetime Harley rider recently purchased a new Goldwing. Had a list of about $3,000 in add-ons when I went into J&P store during Bike Week. Store clerk handed me off to the manager of the "non-Harley" parts department. He couldn't find the first part on my list so he said "I know we have it but there's a Kuryakan tent right out front, it will probably be easier to get it out there." He found the second item which was marked $20 higher in the store than on their website and $50 higher than on the Wingstuff site. When I brought this to his attention, he said, "Well then why don't you buy it from Wingstuff. This guy's attitude soured me on J&P and so I took my entire list and ordered it from Wingstuff and had it a week later for less money. read more

Ordered a speedometer for my Sportster. Checked it with their catalog and also on their web sight, said it would fit. Also ordered the adapter to be on the safe side. Neither product fit. Not only was I out the return shipping but they also charged an additional 10% restocking fee. They screwed up, and I had to pay for it. read more

Don't order from J&P Cycles if you have any possibility of returning the item. They will send your returned item back to you with a non-descript form letter. Call them to order a part, they answer the phone. Call them about a return or complaint and you'll be on hold for hours. Stay away. read more

I ordered two pairs of brake pads from them. When they arrived, one of each pair was defective - chipped along the bottom edges. I contacted them, sent pictures, and returned them as J&P told me to do. Then they have the audacity to charge me a restocking fee. Their response was that the brake pads weren't defective. Their explanation was that the chipping and ragged edges was perfectly normal for brake pads. Really??? I was warned about ordering parts from J&P. Now, I understand why. read more

Bought two items. The price was easy to beat at multiple places. Shipping took forever. The worst part was that I entered a provided discount code which did reflect in the online form but the final charge did not. Called them and they credited by card but this seems shifty. Never got comfirmation emails either. Overall a poor shopping experience. read more

Awful company. Keep telling me stories after stories. They sent me damaged parts and they where happy to replace them but are yet to ship them. it has been 10 days since the replacement order was made and was told they where shipping that day or the next. well after they didn't I called that Wednesday and they said the same thing so Friday comes still haven't shipped and I call and was yet again told the same story. I called the following Monday and they tried to tell me that they are waiting on the vendor. I looked the part up online and it said in stock so had a friend of mine order some for him and what do you know his shipped mine still in processing. they are full of lies read more

I placed an order for 26 items for over $4000 more than 3 weeks ago. I have received a few of the items however most have now been back ordered or lost in shipping. This is strange as everything I ordered online said in stock at the time I ordered it. I went on the site a few days after the order to confirm shipping and get a tracking # and the site was down. I called spent 45 min on hold and when I did get someone they confirmed all items were in stock and would be shipped that day or the next. Needless to say I still have not received the items and all I get is a line of BS when I call. This place sucks not that they have moved out of Iowa. read more

Ive been using JP Cycles for the past three years and Ive been a gold member for the past two. They used to have awesome service great prices and good customer service. Recently this is all gone downhill. Ever since they made their move their customer service is way off. Their shipping information is rarely accurate. And you only get discount prices with being a gold member now, if you are purchasing JP Cycles products. Although on a general account I would say JP Cycles products are decent, I dont usually want them but do want a discount for being a gold member. What happened JP Cycles? read more

I purchased a Sissy Bar from them almost 3 weeks ago. They don't even have the product in stock. No where on the website did it say that before I paid. I called once and someone told me it was on back order. I called again (a few times after) and they said they have it in stock because it reads "in picking"...well its read "in picking" for almost 2 weeks now. Trying to get a hold of customer service takes forever... Buy at RevZilla. Everything is up front. They tell you if something is not in stock instead of taking your money and making you wait. Plus you don't have to wait 20 minutes on hold before getting to talk to an actual human being. Whenever I order form them it comes within a week. read more

maybe i should have read the reviews before i ordered a solo seat form J&P, sent it to someone else and when i called customer service i too got the run around. after 13 days i had had enough so cancelled the order and they said that they would refund my money back to credit card from the main store in Iowa. today is the eighteen of the month and still no refund. i asked if they knew when i would get my money refunded and was told that they were having problems with they system and did not know when they would have it corrected, so they have more then likely screwed me out of my money and not a lot i can do about it. would like to know how D. Kirk will play this one off. Not very happy with J&P. read more

so i ordered some parts for my motorcycle back on march 23rd 2016.got most of my parts without a hitch within 4 days!!! great right? no not so great!!.i ordered a rear rotor for my motorcycle also which still hasn't shipped.i spent many hours via phone and email contacting anyone who would try to help.everyone acts like they are gonna help but it goes nowhere.its taken so long that i ordered a gold membership and received it before the part (eta on gold membership card is 3-4 weeks) .I was told 2 days ago it would be over nighted! guess what? still dont have it.the service is terrible don't waste your time shopping here it will just be a disappointment with no reconciliation. read more

J&P is the WORST!! Second time I ordered, I should have learned my lesson the first time. More than a dozen parts ordered both times. They sent each item individually over five weeks in boxes 10 times the size of the item the first time, and this time it's the exact same situation! handle bars came in a box 3 feet tall, literally, I measured it! brake line banjos, came in two separate boxes big enough to put 200 of them in. Not exaggerating at all either. It's been two weeks this time and still waiting on half of the items. NEVER AGAIN!!! read more

Placed an order 5/20 as of today it is still pending, have sent several emails, none of which have been responded to. Have logged on to live chat 3 times ( chats are never answered) and called customer service only to be put on hold for 20 mins while they research the issue...the answer ????? my item is out of stock!...NO KIDDING!!!!!!! What a waste of time,,Cancelled read more

I am not one to usually say negative things about a business. I have ordered three times from J and P Cycles and each time my experience has been worse than the last. The first time i ordered Progressive shocks. I returned them and it is now going on two weeks and I have not even received a return acknowledgement other than "we have received your return but have not processed!" The next two orders, which have taken place in close proximity to the first one, were a TTS Master Tune and Vance and Hines Slipon exhaust. I called and cancelled both items but J and P continued to ship and ignored my request (i just received the exhaust two weeks later and after I cancelled). I have emailed, chatted, and called with no results. I even had to file a dispute with my bank in order to get my refund. I would highly recommend not buying from J and P unless you want problems in the future. read more

Man alive, why did I not read the YELP reviews before suffering this cruel punishment?! Still waiting....currently on DAY 11 for something that was in stock. I have gone from "In Picking" status to "In Process" status. I have talked with customer service, which was also a joke. You know you are screwed when you have talked to the SAME PERSON 3x, on three different days and at three different times of the day...with an average wait time of 28 minutes. So....I CAN'T Cancel my order I am told, but they also can not tell me when or if my tire will ship. You also know it is bad when the customer service rep tells you that J&P CYCLES has had to hire a FULL TIME SOCIAL MEDIA REP, to try and contain ALL the BAD Reviews on the internet! PLEASE...PLEASE..save my headache and spend the extra $10 with someone like AMAZON, or ROCKY MOUNTAIN ATV, companies that understand WEB based business!!!! read more

My fiance ordered some chaps for me for Christmas, and they turned out to be one size too small. The original order was free shipping with a purchase of $100 or more, which we paid $117 plus tax. The chaps were sent to us with a package return label, which we used to exchange them for a larger size. After they were exchanged, they charged us for the packaging label we used, and a $12 processing fee. They sent out the new chaps, which we paid for shipping for those, and they were still the same size! When we called back, I refused to pay for shipping, and the customer service rep said he would refund us everything...we got our refund, but only for the amount of the chaps. We spent almost $50 more for a pair of chaps that I don't even own! I would have rather gone to Cycle Gear where I am appreciated as a customer! Don't ever order from this company, because all they will do is waste your money and your time. My fiance and all of our friends used to order from them, but that will never happen again. I recommend to all ECV out there...do not use this company! Absolutely unacceptable! read more

Now it all make sense... A store that shouldn't be doing business online because they don't want to interact with customers remotely. Well, then I'd say - take your website down and stop collecting online money cause it's not fair for all the first time buyers. I should have checked yelp before ordering 3 times in a row on their website. I requested a cancellation via email of one of the orders. Never heard from them and guess what, the order has shipped 2 days later. Can't get hold of them over the phone, chat, etc. I still have a pending order saying "Pending Vendor Arrival". It's the remaining quart of engin oil I need in order to complete the maintenance on my bike! I got a gallon shipped to me on a separate order and the remaining quart required is not even in-store... It's the same brand, same oil and it said "available" on the website when I ordered it. I feel like an idiot because I can't finish a basic oil change on my bike. She's sitting in my garage... Never again. read more

Placed an order on Dec 12 2016 for 2 Michelin II tires. Dec 14 tires shipped and payment made. Received 1 Mich and 1 Dunlop on 16 Dec. I took pics and included with email to Cust Svc. on 16 Dec to show them they incorrectly filled my order. No reply for 2 weeks. Finally "chatted" on 2 Jan 2017 to find out what was going on. That was totally useless! Called on 6 Jan 2017 and was assured by "Amanda" that my tire was shipping that day. Did not receive a shipping notice Fri-Tues so I called again (now up to 2 chats and 3 phonecons) andust got off the phone 11 Jan 2017 and discovered J&P was about to ship me a Dunlop tire again. Something terribly wrong with J&P customer service both the chat and phone support. Just got an email that I now have an "incident number" and "Thank you for contacting J&P Cycles. Your question has been received and you should expect a response from us within the next 24 hours". This is totally unsatisfactory!! Another day to resolve something that should have been corrected on Dec 16th. Now for nearly 2 weeks because of J&P Cycles incompetence I have been unable to legally ride my bike since this state requires a "Safety Inspection" which expired on 31 Dec and I am unwilling to pay the fine when caught. J&P Cycles you need to train your support staff to deal with your mistakes. read more

The store itself is fine. My review is about their catalogue ordering. My husband ordered a part from their catalogue over a week ago. Apart from receiving an e-mail that stated the order was received there have been no further updates or e-mails. Two days ago I contacted J&P at their 800 number and was on hold for just over 10 minutes. I eventually spoke to someone who advised me that they were experiencing a delay in receiving the items from the manufacturer but that a supervisor would be contacting my husband by e-mail to status him. No e-mail was received. The next day my husband called. This time he was on hold for about 20 minutes. He spoke to someone who took all the information and told him that she would forward this directly to her supervisor and he would receive a call back or e-mail. Once again no e-mail was received. The following day he called again. This time he was on hold for over an hour. He finally hung up without ever reaching anyone and called back this time chosing the "Order" option. He spoke to someone in the ordering department who once again furiously typed (he could hear this over the phone) and advised him that a supervisor would be receiving this and would be contacting him. So far we've received no call back. My husband has since cancelled the order and was also advised he would be getting a confirmation that the order was cancelled. That confirmation has also not been received. We've been dealing with J&P Cycles for over two years for both of our motorcycles and have never had any problems like this before. No idea what has changed but honestly this is unacceptable with a serious lack of customer communication on their part. It's a real shame because it was a great company with good prices. read more

Every year I go to Yuma Prison Run in late April before I go I send bike in for maintenance last year ordered parts from J&P in early March online catalog says ships 3-5 days received parts 2 days before my trip and they broke cause they were cheap cast. Had to sit on the back of the ol'man's bike. no problem. This year ordered new handle bars my old one cracked in middle of risers March 7th placed my order once again online said ships 3-5 days so after a week I received no e-mail and gave a call to J&P I was then told they do not have the parts at there warehouse and were waiting to receive from somewhere else on 24th. So of course argued the fact that there online ordering is deceiving and said 3-5 days but that means after they receive parts. I figured well ok I should still get on time for my Yuma trip. Waited till 27th to call because I received an e-mail asking how satisfied I was with my parts. Are u *ucking kidding me. I called J&P ultimately after the run around I spoke to a supervisor and I was told that the handle bars I ordered are discontinued and I would not be receiving them. If I did not make that call I would still be waiting for my parts. Cancelled order and here u are a deserving review. U guys suck and I will never order another item from J&P cycles again. My suggestion to anyone considering ordering from J&P is to check into going straight to the vender who makes it, it is the same price and u receive ur items in a timely manner. read more

You could be the next person writing a bad review! I should have remembered why I stopped using J&P Cycles several years ago. I ordered from them because they had all my parts from their one superstore. The tires and tubes and fuel filter came in alright but I've done better with other parts store like Dennis Kirk or Revzilla. But the check valve assembly was waiting on supplier for 10 days and then was 'in picking' for another three, Then the order fell into some kind of limbo. I ORDERED ON JUNE 10 AND IT IS NOW JUNE 27 AND I STILL DO NOT HAVE THE PART. I tried 'live chat', calling on the phone and email and got bad customer service. I asked about expediting when the part came in from supplier but was ignored. I requested information and help and even made a couple complaints with no response. I regret doing business with them and will never again. A friend ordered the same part on E-bay and got it in 3 days. E-bay is better on some parts with no S&H or tax. Try it first with a store with good ratings. I have not had this problem with other motorcycle parts stores. I would have gotten the part from the Harley shop and paid more to get it quicker. read more
