His knowledge and willingness to put in the effort are outstanding. Marc has extended the roof over my outside stoop and stairs, cut back an oversized slate-and-tile hearth and filled in with slate to match the smaller hearth left, removed a fake brick wall and replaced it with paneling to match the walls on either side, and done other various repairs quickly, efficiently, and most importantly, correctly. And, his prices are more than reasonable. Not much seems to be outside of his expertise. If you are looking for a general handyman, call Marc. You will be happy you did!

They are good communicators, and were able to understand what I wanted and make recommendations (I had them redo our bathroom - remove an old narrow shower stall, replace flooring, remove an old broken whirlpool tub, put in a larger walk-in shower, new vanity). They were upfront about cost and time and were very sensitive to my needs, especially cost-wise. Frankly, they are both just super nice people with a lot of construction experience. They did an amazing job turning my bathroom into a functional space with more shelves for storage, painting it, installing everything including the new flooring. I recommend R n E Renovators without reservation for anyone looking for a couple of stand-up guys doing excellent work!

First, I received a call back after leaving a message immediately (like within the hour). I called 3 other contractors, 2 of them never returned my call and a third called back after P&R completed the work. Rick came out to my house the very next day to survey the damage and take some measurements. I had an estimate for the work within the week and they started working right after that. Rich and Jake made great recommendations for how to refurbish the basement (suggesting vinyl flooring instead of the carpeting). They installed all the flooring, repaired all of the baseboard, fixed the covering to a load-bearing beam, painted 2 rooms with 3 different paints (2 coats each) and even installed sump pump so that the flooding that happened will not happen again. They did all this work in 1 weeks time and at a great price. They worked hard and were willing to answer all of my novice, homeowner questions the entire time. Since this initial work we have had them reinstall a backsplash for out kitchen counters AND Rick came out on a Sunday, during an emergency where my power breaker was tripping every few minutes. You're simply not going to find a better contractor that P&R. My wife and I are putting together a master list of projects that we want P&R to work on in the coming years and are looking forward to having them continue to add value to our home.
