They do not stand behind their work! buyer beware! They screw up and then charge you more to fix it.

I had a good experience with Henniker Septic when they thawed…read morethe frozen line between my tank and leachfield. At the time, they mentioned that my distribution box really ought to be replaced. With the ground workable, I called them to see about having that done. It took three calls over a week's time, each with a promise that they'd call me back, before I could talk to anyone about it. I wanted to discuss whether a tree stump near the line would be a problem (which two tree companies had told me it wouldn't); the woman on the phone didn't seem to get it. Finally they told me that a man had come by the house and said it'd be fine. They mailed me an estimate (which the woman on the phone didn't even know had been done), and I sent them a 50% deposit on the job. Without even discussing scheduling, I get a phone call at 7 AM (which was 4 AM for me, as I was in California, but they didn't know that) saying they'd be out to do it that day. I informed him that I wasn't home and we hadn't made an appointment; I'd call them when I got back. A few days later he left a voice mail indicating a day that he could do it. When I was home, I called them to confirm that date. Afterward, making some small talk, I mentioned to the woman that I thought it was funny/weird that they operate separate businesses (septic, sewer, etc.) with the same people, and yet they have different office hours. That got the owner on the phone, and he was all bent out of shape because I used the word "weird". I told him I was sorry for using that word, and he said my business wasn't worth it and I'd been such a headache for his company. Good riddance. P.S. My deposit check (for half the estimate) was paid by my bank on 8/19. On 9/3, I called to ask that it be refunded; they said they'd call back. On 9/5, with no callback, I called again. A different woman answered, she said she knows nothing about it (seems to be the norm for their office) and guaranteed that I'd get a call back today... Got a call from the owner tonight; he says he sent me a refund check on Tuesday (9/3) when he saw the message. I don't doubt that he did. But I have to wonder about how this business keeps records or if they ever even talk to one another.

The next day I called as something was still leaking and he found a crack in the toilet as well as the bowl - Al had dust and signs of having been there. I bought a toilet to try & defray the costs but the two appointments cost over $800! the plumber had a fairly bad attitude and sent me some nasty texts - insinuating I had cracked the toilet the night he was first there. I would not use them and do not recommend them. Cost was same as was quoted when the plumber got the toilet - outrageous pricing and bad attitude.

Being concerned about the expensive local plumber I have used in the past I went on the web! Not being comfortable with the label "PIPE DREAMS" I bit the bullet as he was very local and had a high "yelp" rating so I gave him a call the next business day about 9 am and left a message. He called me back about 10am from out of town but requested if he could stop by about "noon' time: and HE DID 1pm! He took one look and started taking his first of many trips to his truck and came back with a ladder and camera and found a leak at the 3 clock side of the connection. It was a very difficult repair. The steel ring holding the toilet was totally rusted out. But he had the tools in the truck . He not only had the tools in the truck he had all the parts to return the entire toilet to NEW CONDITION and rolled out at 2:45pm and I had a new toilet for HALF THE COST ANTICIPATED . I WAS STUNED. as a register professional engineer he exceeded my highest expectations . He knew what to do, how to do it, prepared to do it, and pleasant and friendly doing it. I CAN HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PIPE DREAMER

Our HVAC of 2 years went out, we called and number didn't work, found a different number which they had an excuse for, they sent a plumber and obviously had no idea of the unit. They state they ordered a part, came out and then told my 80 year old mother it was $635 for 42 minutes, of course that was extreme so my husband said no way. After a phone call to my husband the tech said "My bad" then $350. We paid and nothing, not working for another week. My husband made several attempts to reach out via text and phone calls, nothing. And so I call the next day seeing Memorial Day weekend rolled into this and we have no air. John, Josh or whomever answers to me since they have now blocked my husband, and he hung up on me saying they won't work for us. So they installed, never returned, do not warranty or register the unit, then proceed to cowardly hang up and treat an elderly woman so discourteous and the end result is another company rescued us. Fixed the unit on the first visit, found and diagnosed the problem and $118 later we have cold air. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE(won't even say "company")

Not to…read moremention....possibly revitalized life as we know it here in the [insert last name here] residence. This happened over a week ago. But imagine (if you will): awaking in the early morning attempting to get ready for work on a typical New England wintry day, when you notice the hot water is gone. As my heart sank to my nether regions, I feared the worst. Upon reaching the basement, my greatest anxieties were quickly realized as I witnessed what can only be described as a literal geyser erupting from my now dilapidated excuse of a water heater. In short, ladies and gentlemen, this thing was toast. With my basement partially flooded and my family potentially facing frigid showers, there was only one thing to do: contact the heating company who would quickest solve this dilemma for us. After scouring the four corners of Yelp for a little under an hour, A.J. LeBlanc was the first to respond. Due to it being incredibly snowy and dangerous out there (not mention having 3 other jobs earlier that same day), it took them a while to arrive. Once they did though, they were extremely accommodating, professional, and precise with their installation. After working out the quote and payment details, they were able to arrive with the necessary parts THE VERY SAME DAY! I don't think I need to tell you how important this point was for us, considering not all companies in the area can necessarily pull this off on such short notice. I won't tell you how much we spent that day. But let's just say it was just shy of a king's ransom. Nevertheless, it was quite worth every penny. They say you can't buy peace of mind, but Leblanc's prompt service comes damn close. What impressed me the most was not only the superb install job (which you can clearly see in the photos I posted); but also their brief yet thorough instruction on how everything works on the brand spanking new heater. It's worth noting that they made a big deal about making sure everything was done strictly to code. And we are eternally grateful, especially after learning the former water heater (which I *think* was around 8 years old) was severely outdated. I mean, the thing didn't even have a drain pan. Imagine having just a water heater sitting on the ground with nothing to catch any leaks. *sigh* Anyway.. The new water heater comes with a 6 year warranty. So, should anything unexpected happen before 2029, we'll know who to call. These guys probably saved our lives that day. Because I know I certainly didn't feel like catching hypothermia via shower due to an out-of-date, busted ass water heater from 2015. As such, I'm giving A.J. LeBlanc Heating, Inc. 5 state of the art water heaters out of 5.

I also specifically requested a boiler tune up since I was unsure when it had been done last - having moved into the house within a couple of years. I was impressed because he responded quickly. We set up an appt for 11/1 so he could come out and take a look. He came over 8 AM the morning of 11/1, tried to light the boiler, diagnosed it as needing a new thermocouple (which is usually done on a tune-up as I had requested), then had to "go get parts". Hu? Why would you not have a thermocouple with you? Okay, he goes to the local hardware store and calls me to say neither they nor tractor Supply have it. He will continue looking. at 1:30 PM I call to see if there is progress - nope, he went to another job (which I get, really I do). Later he left me a message that he would need to get ahold of the mfg to see if they could find parts. 11 days later, I hadn't heard from him, so I texted to see if he had any progress. Crickets, more crickets, and even more crickets. The sad part is that he is recommended by Peerless (the mfg of my boiler), and a home improvement website. But I had to call someone else out to fix my boiler (and that guy had a thermocouple on him, which was all it needed). I gave him 1 star for responding to my request and the second star because he actually did make it to my place and it was on time.
