I was greeted at the front by a friendly lady who guided me to what I was looking for. She went above and beyond with explaining the different types of pesticides and her personal experiences and recommended methods of application (scatter the boric acid around instead of a straight line for roaches, which I didn't know!). It was a lot of fun browsing the store because there was so much to take in. The layout is like an antique store but for hardware, from plumbing to doorknobs to cleaning supplies, they had just about everything. I had an extremely great experience at Southland and will be back! And do not fret about parking, there is a large - by Montrose standards - parking lot in the back.

September 27th Damaged product, delivery rejected October 4th Wrong Make/Model installed October 11th Damaged product, delivery rejected - promised White Glove Deliver on following delivery October 18th NOT White Glove Delivery, wrong team sent (needed hard wiring) October 22nd Finally, correct delivery along with install team, promised to be first delivery stop, but alas another miscommunication, and I was the third delivery of the day. As you can see, I spent four Saturday's waiting on Home Depot and finally taking a half-day off work to once again wait on Home Depot. The situation caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience, something I never expected from a company I've trusted for years. Given what I've endured, I am respectfully asking that Home Depot acknowledge this experience and offer appropriate compensation for the hardship and inconvenience I was put through. I think they're a pretty good tool place, and they have good prices and good deals, and most importantly, good quality stuff that is more than likely not going to break on you. Definitely better quality than most of what Walmart is selling, and that's one of the things I appreciate about them. Their coupons are some of the best things about this place... you can save a lot of money. So overall a good job and a good choice for tools, and while this location isn't as good as some of the others, they're still worth a visit.

I ordered a small item online and unfortunately the wait time while I was inside the store was pretty lengthy when I came to pick it up. My order had been ready for pick up, and I did get the confirmation email. However the process still takes a lot of time. Overall average experience. Expect to wait if you are picking up something or buying something in the store.

I personally found $660 office or dining chairs as low as $330 a piece, clearance priced bar stools, a large alabaster lamp base for $805, floor length mirrors, plenty of area rugs, patio furniture and bed frames (check out the photos)! Nope, you have to have screws that not only fit the new handles but the new handles screws have to fit thru the holes of the dresser. I originally picked out handles at Lowes but the screws would not fit the holes of the dresser set. Now I know it does not sound difficult BUT it is. I've been to Lowes twice with no luck so here I am at The Home Depot. I'll just purchase another set of handles, NOPE not today?! Here at the Home Depot, you can't just pick out hardware they have to be ordered. Cool no problem. YES, it is a problem when the ONLY person in the entire store that does the ordering is out for the Holidays. Does corporate know this? This is loss of revenue. I need 13 handles, do the math when a handle cost is $7 - $15. Ok New Covid Era, I'm not disgusted I'll adapt.

Last week, I was just here to replace some decorative pots for my patio. Inventory on the app says 6. I went to Garden Center to get 3. Guess what? They have 6, but 4 of them are cracked in the rim. One was soiled and one has latex paint on it. So I drove to Northwest store to buy them. The return service desk was ridiculous. When I saw 6 people in line, I left to wait in my car. Because of social distancing, the line went out to the door. When I came back, one person was being helped, one person was busy on his phone completely ignoring my existence and last one having conversations with her coworker. She waved at me as she was ready to help me. But they kept talking as the other lady had mask on her chin. Thank goodness for the plastic fence. She had not spoken a single word to me, including thank you I almost thought this service should be replaced by outsourced call center agents via computer monitors. I saw they finally got online order locker. Since I had terrible time with online order at all Home Depot stores, I said don't bother. More bad experiences were after the start of Chick-fil-A appeared in the parking lot. Those day laborers crowding the entrance to cause cars backed up to the street. There was no way to drive into the parking lot while dodging from fast moving traffic on Beltway feeder road. There was no law enforcement or management around to stop them or move this activity to a different entrance. I understand someone has to eat and someone wants quick helper. But come on, move away from the entrance.
