Our neighbors had had great service from Fremont Heating & Air Conditioning and recommended we give them a call. John Fremont was able to come out the next day. Although he concurred with some of the problems the previous company saw, we felt he took a much less rash approach to the situation. We did end up replacing the heater (at a much lower cost) because the most expensive part needed replacing and the heater was over 15 years old. But the A/C only needed a $20 part replaced and it was good to go. The work was done quickly and professionally and we couldn't be happier. When that A/C does decide to give up the ghost, we'll be calling Fremon Heating & Air Conditioning to do the replacement job.

We had them install plumbing in the whole house- new construction. We had to call them back for 6 different leaks- some of which ruined custom cabinetry. They have said that our job was an exception to their high quality of service, but as I have only used them for one house, I have nothing to gauge this by. In my overall estimation, they seem to be in the practice of doing what is fastest, cheapest, easiest, and are good at placation so that they can get paid and move to the next job. If you are doing a low budget spec home or a set of apartments they will probably do a great job for you. I'm just not sure that they are the right fit for custom homes.
