Now remember this is a boutique and not a large department store. The ladies who work in this location literally ignored each person who came there to shop but as soon as another race walked in the hello's, welcomes, may I help you opening lines seem to be in abundance... This has been tested a few times now and it is sad. I would have loved to give this location 5 stars but management really needs to speak with their customer service workers on how to provide service to everyone and not just who they prefer. We made an agreement with Sherryl (owner of this store) several years ago to sell some of his prints as he has many photographs of the area, wildlife etc. The agreement was that she would accept 25 of his prints to sell in her store, which she would sell at a price of $40.00 each. No payments would exchange hands until prints sold. When a print sold, she was to keep $22.00 and pay us $18.00 for the print. We printed and packaged the prints for sale at our own expense and delivered them to the store. In short, we never got the money and none of the prints, if any went unsold, were ever returned to us For months after dropoff, we physically returned to the store on several occasions to check on the status of the sales. We did see some missing, but each time we dropped by we were told by the attending associate (one being her self identified husband) that Sherryl was not in/out of town and they couldn't do anything, advising us that we'd have to deal with her when she returned (she was never 'returning' the same day). I also attempted several messages through Facebook, advising we'd be in town at certain points and those days never seemed to work for her. There was only one day she said she'd be at the store, but it was a weekday at a certain time that conflicted with the full time jobs we have. (we live and work over an hour away). Years later, she either still has a few prints or has sold them all and kept all of the money for herself. Either way, we're out 25 prints and have nothing to show for them. She's super friendly and seems like a happy go lucky person when you meet her, but she makes no effort to make good on her promises or keep up her end of the bargain. What was wrong with leaving a check at the store for pickup or mailing one to us? I'm not a terrible person but I am a small business owner who myself cannot afford a storefront, and I can almost guarantee the loss of my 18.00 a print affects me more than it would affect her. I will be glad to alter or delete this review if she ever chooses to attempt to make things right, but if it is still here then she has not.
