Working 70 hours per week allowed very little time to bring it in to be fixed but I finally had a day to do that today. Spoke with Amanda who had to ask Chelsea if it was ok to send back. She tried to charge me an additional $40 to have it sized again! After asking if they only honor their repair work for less than a year they asked if I wanted to send it in or not. I declined and stated I no longer trusted them with my precious jewelry and an apology would have been appropriate at this point but she couldn't even offer that to me. Very poor customer service and awful business standards.

My wife's wedding ring had developed some nicks and cracks over the past decade and some change. We had taken it to several jewelers, all of whom said fixing it wasn't possible. When I came here, they had the same diagnosis as everybody else but a much different prognosis. Rob, one of the master jewelers, was excited at the chance to fix the ring up. He and Kathy explained to me everything that they would need to do and gave me a walking-out-the-door cost; no surprises. When I got the ring back a few weeks later, it was a piece of art. Really. The detail and love Rob had put into it was clear, as was his well-earned pride in his craftsmanship. The ring look even better than it did when it was first made almost twenty years ago. This is a place that puts love into their pieces, listens to their customers, educates their customers (I can't say how much I appreciate their explanations), and does excellent work. They went on to give me some tips about cleaning the ring, and they boxed it up very beautifully. This place is a great secret that I hope more people learn about. I wouldn't go anywhere else. It is exactly why we are such strong supporters of local small business. Their store was immaculate and very well organized. They were all so knowledgeable about everything and so patient with us. Brady was the main person helping us, but every person there, jumped in at some point and helped us out. It's just like a family does. We fell in love with this place, and we fell in love with this family too. Their candor, their vast knowledge of diamonds and the industry itself was mind blowing. They gave us all the warm fuzzies!! Most importantly, Collins jewelers does everything in House and that is a big deal to me. They don't send my expensive jewelry off, potentially losing it, and having someone else do the work on it. They have accredited talented jewelers there who do all of the craftsmanship by hand. These are our new exclusive jewelers and we are so blessed to have found them. We strongly recommend Collins Jewelers. We are not easy to please people either. Trust me! I feel like they have undergone a re-branding over the last couple of years, so this place may be totally different than what you remember from previous visits! Upon entry, the first thin you notice is the abundance of EVERYTHING. This place has so much merchandise from locally sourced candles, to figurines, clay pots, jewelry, furniture, dog toys and beyond. I will say that in addition to being impressed with their inventory, I quite liked the layout of the store. It flowed quite well from entry to exit! We were on the hunt for some antique furniture, but I will say that this place has less furniture and more ornamental/decorative antique items at this point - A lot of tchotchke's. However, I will say their locally created and sourced candle collection was right up our alley and so we left with two of those! Now, for the reason behind the 3 star review - The service. There were (3) gentlemen in this place during our visit and they were stand-offish and not very welcoming. Two were behind the main counter, with a cute little dog, and one was sitting behind the side counter where the pottery was stored. This fella who was by his lonesome never once looked up at us or acknowledged us as we wondered around. I worked with Tim, who steered me to brands that could be delivered more quickly, and overnighted the ring to me the day they received it in store. Got it in the "nick-of time"...Couldn't have asked for better service. The ring itself was/is gorgeous, and my fiance gets compliments on it all the time. Would definitely recommend this place to others.
