I worked with Tim, who steered me to brands that could be delivered more quickly, and overnighted the ring to me the day they received it in store. I looked at a lot of them, and D Geller & Son stood out, partly for the military discount, but the real value turned out to be the service. I worked with Jake, though I'm confident anyone there would have delivered the same first class experience. Mind you, I don't live in Georgia. I'm on the other side of the country, so the entire thing happened over phone and text. Jake walked me through every step, was accommodating the whole way, and delivered exactly what I asked for. Needless to say, she said yes. In her words, "It is exactly what I would have wanted." Kudos to Jake and D Geller & Son. That experience was very good. So 25 years later we walked back into a D. Geller showroom where sales associate, Cailey Shirley, did an extraordinary job in helping me and my wife make another ring selection in advance of our impending 25th wedding anniversary. Cailey was knowledgeable, patient, kind and genuinely invested in our wants, needs and timeline. With Cailey's help, we found exactly the style and finish we wanted, and D. Hello, I purchased…read morean over $6800 halo engagement ring and two anniversary bands from Dana Augustine at a show in February 2014 at Helzberg Diamonds in Gurnee, IL. I had my original diamond set right there in the store that day. Within less than 2 months, diamonds had fallen out to the halo engagement ring, and I had to return it for repairs to Dana Augustine via Helzberg Diamonds, and it took over 10 business days and more than 2 weeks total to get it fixed and returned, which is outrageous. Again, in July 2014, less than 6 months from purchase of the original mounting, I had more diamonds fall out of the halo setting on the engagement ring. I took it to Helzberg on 7/8 at 10:00 AM CDT when the store opened and was told by the employee at Helzberg that the ring was going out THAT morning and being over nighted to Dana Augustine. I called Helzberg for an update on 7/10, and they said it hadn't even shipped until the afternoon of 7/9 and Dana Augustine would not even get it until 7/11. That is my first complaint. Helzberg promised an immediate and over night shipping of the ring via UPS, and they failed. On 7/11, I was called by Helzberg and told Dana Augustine would have the ring back to me "early the week of 7/14", and I explained I needed it no later than Thursday, 7/17, as I was going out of town, and I had expressed my disappointment with the quality and service I was receiving. I informed them the diamond had been replaced by a QZ, and Dana Augustine was aware as well. I called Helzberg on 7/16 for an update and was told I would get the ring possibly on 7/18 if not on 7/21. I complained about the service and quality of the Dana Augustine piece and would expect for $6000 diamonds would not contiually fall out of the ring. Dana Augustine communicated to Helzberg that it was because the stone had been replaced, which is absolutely not the case. I had to send it back to Dana Augustine PRIOR to the stone being replaced, SO explain that. Explain the horrific customer service. Explain the horrific quality. The mounting is separate then the stone. I have contacted the very reputable jeweler on Jewler's Row in Chicago, and THEY are going to be taking care of this "wonderful" piece of jewelry for me from now on. I WILL be filing a complaint against both companies as I have spent over $8000 with the two companies since February, and I have received NOTHING but horrible service. It took me calling and complaing again today, 7/16, to get Helzberg to call Dana Augustine and have them overnight the ring to the store in Gurnee by Thursday morning. In addition, Helzber told me they "don't do overnight via FedEx, just two day", and I was told when I dropped it off, they would "overnight it via UPS". That is awful, awful customer service on both parts. Had I done my research, I would have read all the horrific and awful reviews on Dana Augustine online prior to purchasing the setting. Trust me, I will be filing all the complaints and reviews I can from YELP to the BBB to any other site online, so noboby else has to waste their time and money on shoddy service and quality. I would expect better from two supposedly "reputable" jewelers.

But never--ever--have I experienced the level of customer service that Adrian and Ebony provide at the Kennesaw store. These two incredible people go above and beyond. We actually stop by just to say hello when we're in the mall because they feel like family. They are so warm, caring, and genuinely invested in not only our purchases but in us as people. They remember the pieces I've looked at during previous visits, and this weekend, Ebony even let me know the ring I had been eyeing was on sale--how thoughtful is that? My mother, who now lives with us, recently purchased a necklace from them and was just as impressed. She couldn't believe how welcoming and attentive they were. Steven quickly evaluated my ring & took it in the back to be repaired. In the meantime, Ann & Dee helped as I browsed the store. Dee asked if I'd like my other jewelry cleaned while I waiting, which she handled immediately. Then within 8 minutes, Steven brought my ring back, it was 'as good as new' (& also sparkling because they cleaned it b4 returning to me). In summary, these three people were friendly yet professional, & were quick to take care of me.
