Love this store! We visit here every time we are in the area! Super nice people and love their wine slushies!!!

I absolutely love this store- from the fashionable apparel to the hysterical home goods that bring a smile to my face and joy to my heart. I've been visiting for years and absolutely adore the owners, and Morgan. They are truly treasures and it's a treat to be in their presence each time I pop in. I love everything in the store so definitely have to restrain myself so I don't buy it all! Lots of fun and unique finds. In the back there is a wine tasting room where you can sample a selection of ellijay and Georgia winery wines as well as moonshine and slushies!!! I LOVE it all!! This is definitely a fun place to visit! You can sip while you shop, or if you like take your slushie on the back porch and take in the views while you enjoy!!! read more

I chose to leave this review after my last message to this establishment was ignored. My husband is a photographer. We made an agreement with Sherryl (owner of this store) several years ago to sell some of his prints as he has many photographs of the area, wildlife etc. The agreement was that she would accept 25 of his prints to sell in her store, which she would sell at a price of $40.00 each. No payments would exchange hands until prints sold. When a print sold, she was to keep $22.00 and pay us $18.00 for the print. We printed and packaged the prints for sale at our own expense and delivered them to the store. In short, we never got the money and none of the prints, if any went unsold, were ever returned to us For months after dropoff, we physically returned to the store on several occasions to check on the status of the sales. We did see some missing, but each time we dropped by we were told by the attending associate (one being her self identified husband) that Sherryl was not in/out of town and they couldn't do anything, advising us that we'd have to deal with her when she returned (she was never 'returning' the same day). I also attempted several messages through Facebook, advising we'd be in town at certain points and those days never seemed to work for her. There was only one day she said she'd be at the store, but it was a weekday at a certain time that conflicted with the full time jobs we have. (we live and work over an hour away). Years later, she either still has a few prints or has sold them all and kept all of the money for herself. Either way, we're out 25 prints and have nothing to show for them. She's super friendly and seems like a happy go lucky person when you meet her, but she makes no effort to make good on her promises or keep up her end of the bargain. What was wrong with leaving a check at the store for pickup or mailing one to us? I'm not a terrible person but I am a small business owner who myself cannot afford a storefront, and I can almost guarantee the loss of my 18.00 a print affects me more than it would affect her. I will be glad to alter or delete this review if she ever chooses to attempt to make things right, but if it is still here then she has not. read more

Really unique store with eye popping displays. My favorite place was the children section with a deer head covered in bling. The wine and wine slushee tastings were spectacular too! It was one of my most memorable store experiences in Ellijay! read more

An amazing place to shop! The customer service was excellent!!! We got wine slushees from the back which were amazing! The woman who runs this store was so great to us! We stood there and talked to her for a long time! She was fantastic, recommended some great hiking trails and you could tell she really cared about her customers! She treated us so kindly and it was so great To have such a wonderful customer service experience! We bought a super cute picture frame there, and we will definitely be going back next year when we visit again! This store has a great collection of furniture, clothing, frames, hats, stickers, wine and more! If you are shopping in downtown Ellijay, you definitely do not want to miss this place!!!!!! read more

Great selection of very unique and local artisans gifts, furniture,clothes,candles, and decor. There was so much to see I can't wait to go back! Custom made furniture is beautiful. If they don't have it they may be able to get it. Now if the store isn't great enough I must say the owners are even better! So sweet and helpful. The married couple go above and beyond to get you what you want or just have friendly conversation. Just genuinely kind folks! What Ellijay is all about. Southern kindness. Nice local store. Chatty but helpful clerk. A bit pricey, but it's better than Disney! Lots of variety and cool gift ideas. Check them out.

Spent vacation up in the Blue Ridge Mountains special order merchandise on the visit into town. What a hassle! Do NOT special order any merchandise from this store! My Cousin and I were hanging out one day and we decided to hit up Ellijah. We went in many shops in the small town, but when we entered Mountain Treasures; the owner (or I assume the owner) started talking to us like she has always known us. She made us feel right at home. We looked around the shop and then the woman says "Hey do you want to attend a free wine tasting?" I said heck yes! She brought out all different bottles of wine and let us taste and there was one other customer in there as well. The wines were amazing. Wines that you cannot find in a local store in Kennesaw, GA. I bought 2 bottles of the wine and have saved them until tonight 5/10/16. I have been under the weather big time and unable to sleep, so I decided to break open the bottle of Misty Rose. So delicious, what I could taste of it. It has been a long time since I felt so at home someplace. I will be back soon to buy the moonshine wine. I still have one bottle left from the visit earlier, but that is being saved to celebrate my Birthday on May 31st. Thank you to you and your husband for making us feel right at home.
