Both service tech's were very polite and got a pretty extensive fridge repair completed in under 2.5 hours!! They made sure to leave everything exactly as they found it, which was no easy task given the built in surrounding cabinets. They made sure everything was at the proper setting and in the "quick cool" mode to have everything back to normal ASAP. Had this company, that now goes by Allstar Appliance, come out for a warranty repair on a cooktop. Tech was rude and took a total of 5 minutes looking at it. Right away said the parts are on back order and it would be a while before they repaired it. I waited 2 months , got a notice from my warranty company that they said they completed the work and called them back asking why they said that. They said they still only had 2/4 parts and would call me when they arrived and that the warranty company automatically cancels claims after 60 days so they had to say it was done. A month later, still no parts. I called them back again and they said they had 3/4 parts. I asked them what the part number was that they were waiting on and they refused to give it to me. They said they don't provide part numbers to customers or warranty companies. I told them that practice seemed shady. The owner got on the phone and berated me for saying that. He threatened me that he was going to cancel the repair through my warranty company for saying that. I then told him to go ahead but I would need to contact the warranty company about them falsely closing the claim. He then told me the warranty company "automatically closes orders after 60 days" so they had no choice. Told him that was different than what they told me a month prior. He then said he was ending the call to call the warranty company to end the claim. After reading reviews on here it looks like that customer service or lack thereof is par for the course for them. read more

How is this company still in business? Just read the reviews. They are spot on! The worst part is he is one of the warranty repair companies for Fisher Paykel. The fact that they would allow this man to continue service on their behalf is nearly as incomprehensible as Garrett's anger and arrogance issues. He was sent out to replace a damaged panel on a brand new dishwasher and went on and on about the poor install and improper water & drain line install that had been done. And that he was reporting this immediately to Fisher Paykel. There wasn't even a reason for him to be under the sink looking at all that when he was there just to replace the panel which is easily removed from the front. (To note the original install was done by a licensed Appliance Installer, who has been in business over 25 years) Garrett was definitely just looking to make a buck by insisting the original installer didn't know what he was doing. I am shaking!!!! I had to ask the technician to leave within 5 minutes of entering my home where I was alone.  Carl was very aggressive, combative and angry from the moment he walked in.  He sat in his van for 15 minutes before coming in (105 degrees heat).  Then he knocked on the door and I said "thank you for coming, I've been without a dishwasher for 3 weeks".  He dropped his tool bag, looked through paperwork and said "no, just since May 19th".  I got the impression I had angered him.  He then question who installed, Best Buy, "are you sure?".  He raised his voice and said installation not covered by warranty and he'd have to charge me....I said that was fine.  He went on a rant talking about the height of the plumbing, the hoses, the kitchen sink and bacteria.  I asked him to leave ... which angered him more and on the way out he shouted "Warranty Work Denied".  I called the office but it is just a girl's (Joey C Laguana) personal cell phone 623-414-1845.  I asked to speak to Carl's manager and she got heated with me as I told the story, she insinuated also that I was not telling the truth.  I asked for the name of the Company and she hung up on me twice.  Calling back didn't help because it is her personal cell phone.  I had to call Fisher Paykel because that's who set up the appointment and find out the name.  DO NOT BE ALONE IN THE HOUSE WITH CARL....very creepy, angry person.  Also, not a professionally run company if they are using their own cell phones. Technician told me that it would take 24 hours for my fridge and freezer to be working at full capacity. He was here on Wednesday afternoon and I called Friday around 10a because it still wasn't working at max capacity. The rude male said it would be up to 48 hours. At the time I was speaking to him, it was a few hours shy of 48 hours. So, when I said that he laughed at me. I kid you not....he laughed at me. I said, "I'm glad you think this is funny. I lost all my food and have been dealing with this for almost a month now, but I'm glad you think this is funny". Instead of apologizing, he started arguing with me! "To err is human, but to err with emphasis is unforgivable!" - J&H not only lied about contacting me, even after almost a month, they did NOT fix the machine. Paul was rude and so defensive, he cannot seem to focus on fixing the problem. I called and asked about my invoice #, and that clearly is a trigger for him. Apparently they give you an invoice, but they don't track it by the #. The office lady who did that quit... I don't blame her... How would I know? Why would their back-office problems be my problem? After Paul hangs up on me, no matter, I call back and try again. The tech Kevin finally came out the next week, and he was very nice, failed to completely fix my machine, but very nice. The final blow was after he left, I went back a few hours later to check on it, to find water flowing over. The technician did NOT plug the pump back in. The ice melted (very quickly at first when the machine first comes on) and filled up the bin with water, that could NOT drain, because the pump was NOT plugged in! When I called Paul, he was SO defensive, and all he could do was, in some ridiculous way, try to blame me! I'm not the repair company. I'm not the repair technician. I'm not the one who bypassed the water pump. All emotions aside, the facts are, Kevin failed to reconnect the machine properly To make a mistake, and to be wrong, is human, but to be a rude unprofessional and try to put this entire service failure on me, is beyond comprehension. Garrett, the owner was amazing! He was on time, and actually early! I had to the handle on my microwave replaced. He came with the replacement and installed it within 10mins. Wow, what an incredibly rude person! They received a claim through Best Buy to repair our fridge. But since the repair was scheduled for a day they were closed, they rejected it but didn't bother to contact us. When we called (because the last info we had was that they were supposed to be out and it was a no call no show), they guy was a complete a-hole right off the bat. My wife was very nice and nice the entire time on the call and even had to stop and say "woo it seems you're very frustrated, and maybe we should start this call over" in the first 2 minutes of the call. I would give zero stars if it were an option. This company was selected by my warranty company but I should have known better from the Yelp reviews. J&H has been working on a simple issue with my dishwasher for over a month so far. Unable to verify the part causing the issue with their tools and knowledge, they have been guessing and swapping out various parts. The technician who comes out is nice, but junior in his tenure / experience. The service manager is the worst; rude, brash, and completely unhelpful. Scheduling is typically 4-7 days out AFTER they have parts even working around their schedule. My 3 year old oven had its outer glass basically explode out and it electric. It was at 350 degrees. Bought from Spencer's Appliance her in Arizona they were my first call as we had a 5 year warranty. I contacted them and they assured me it was 100% covered and J&H would be there in 5 days to fix it between 8-5. At 11 or so I called them and they had no idea about it and said the warranty company scheduled it when they weren't around and the soonest they could see me is well over a week later. I was annoyed. Not as much as when they rudely said it wasn't covered and I'd be out of pocket $380 plus for freaking glass . Oh they also said part wasn't in and I'd need to provide my credited card number to secure the part though it wouldn't be charged . I don't think so. I don't know you and not giving that over the phone. We again we assured by warranty company it was covered and they even provided a support line for this company to call. The rude man I spoke with again said that in the end the warranty company wouldn't pay the bill. Not my problem! Don't be a provider if they don't pay you, not my issue. Not only that but this rude I will say person vs a cuss word said that what happened to my oven was impossible and it had to have been hit by something. I said no I was in different room and he aggressively suggested I was lying. If he was such an expert he'd have googled this is a major issue across the US and it's even gone before the Federal Government and it's across many brands. Once I found a respectable company they stated they have at least 2 of this issue a month . Stay away from this company . Worst customer service ever experienced. No urgency to help and whoever it is that answers the phone is extremely rude and short with customers. I've been without a fridge for a week now and his only response was "well you're gonna be without a fridge for even longer because we have to order parts". We dealt with Lowe's Protection Program for a refrigerator that needed repaired. They gave me this company and told me they wouldn't be able to come out for about 5 days but they would contact me with a time the day before. Worst service I've ever experienced in my life. My mother called to get an estimate of to just come out and take a look at my refrigerator and the receptionist was rude and unprofessional. At that point, mother decided not to make an appointment with them and they came out anyway. They showed up for the appointment, after my mother declined their services, when the technician left the owner decided to give me a call and harass me because we declined their services. The owner lied and said that my mother confirmed the appointment the day before and also gave a bogus story about recording the conversation between my mother and the receptionist. My warranty company called them to fix my washer due to a thumping sound it was making and , somehow my warranty company stated it was not working but it was, the tech tried pulling out the tub and even had his helper from the truck come in to pull it out stated that the soap can make it stuck and even after removing a couple coins and a sock from inside the walls of the machine he said he can still hear scrapping and will need approval from our warranty to get it taken apart for further looks. I did ask him can I still use it and he said yes. We went to use it and it was not functional at all. Neil I think is the name called me said that the warranty denied further repair since it was not normal ware and tear of machine but user error, I was like I was able to use it before though. My warranty did give me an opportunity for a second opinion and to find out my washer needed 3 items that were extremely bad, that this tech from J&H couldn't find cause the new tech took the side panel off and was able to examine correctly. I did call leaving a message that my Fing dryer was scratched and dented, his tech supposedly took a picture with a bunch of stuff on my dryer that I had yet, when he left I only had my box of dryer sheets and bottle of spray n wash on my dryer, if there was anything it would be clothes cause we don't place things on it, either way once I said I was going to place a negative report, he said go ahead and he will see me in court and he has more money than I do, like really? and why? I have a right to post my experience as he has a right to protect his company. I was going to leave it alone but I stand up to bullys. read more

I am writing a five star review based on an experience our family had with technician Garrett. We have a fridge repair that a previous company completely botched. After three times of them coming in, our home warranty sent over a new company, J and H. Garrett was friendly and professional and quick to identify what he think may be the issue. Problem is, the previous company had made the problem worse so per home warranty policy, they needed to return to remedy their mistakes. We were so upset as Garrett was much more upfront and clear about his plan of action he would take to fix the fridge. In addition he even assisted us with taking a peek at another appliance the the previous company had mishandled. He followed up with the home warranty company on our behalf explaining what a mess the previous company had done. Additionally, he followed up with us later that afternoon to explain the decision from the home warranty company and offer us advice on how to proceed. He did not need to make that call, but he did. He went above and beyond as a professional and we will be reaching out to his company for any problems we have in the future with any appliances. Thank you, Garrett! read more

The home warranty company sent J&H's Garrett to fix my microwave. He seemed to know what he was doing and got the microwave working again in about 30 minutes and tested the that it worked three times before he left. He was not impolite at all. They did have to schedule me about a week out, so I was a week without a microwave. read more

The worker that showed up after waiting 2 months on the parts, smelled of alcohol. Called my husband a "A******" when he ask him to leave our home for disrespecting it. He stated he owned the company and told us we would wait another 2 months for more parts. He made a mess and told us we had to clean it up. When we asked how do you expect us to do that? He said "I'm not cleaning that s*** up." Our Grandmother and our 6 children were in the room. We then asked him to leave our home. Garrett was knowledgeable and very open and honest when I brought in an older GE Profile microwave that had failed. Diagnosed that the root of the problem was a failing control board which had caused the magnetron to fail. He said that although he could replace the magnetron, the control panel is no longer made. Replacing the magnetron would probably work for a while but the problem would likely reoccur. There was no charge even though he spent at least 20 minutes investigating and explaining the problem. read more

Horrible experience with this company ,specifically Garrett, that was sent to repair the water and ice maker on my LG refrigerator by Lowes extended warrantee company. First he VERY rudely told me, I installed the wrong supply hose and that was the problem. He disconnected it and Water ran fine through the hose. I told him 2 years ago Your company installed that hose when you installed the appliances we'd purchased from Lowes. Called me a liar. Next it was the new filter That I'd installed after the problem first started. Guaranteed, That will fix it. I told him I've used that filter for 2 1/2 years with no problem. P/N is Recommended in the owners manual. He said he's been doing this for 30 year and knows what he's talking about. He left and said call to let them know that the filter fixed the problem because he had other calls. Long story short. trip to Lowes and a $50.00 filter didn't fix the problem, Of course not, When I called them back, Garrett went off on me, I told them not to come back to my house A%@ H*^e, I'll get a professional company. I discovered, he had sent a report and flat out lied about our encounter, and after several phone conversation with the Lowes extended warrantee folks that this is the ONLY appliance repair company that they have in my area of AZ. We had two repair people come out to see why my dishwasher wasn't draining. The last person said there was some glass in the drain. He said he got it all out but really didn't. Absolutely horrible customer service. Let's start with, I NEVER give reviews but this is a must. I bought a new refrigerator and needed service on my ice maker. The manufacturer told me to call them first in their list. When I called, they said they are too busy and not taking service calls. Then the manufacturer sent them a work order request, they called me and set up an appointment right away. The guy on the phone was super short and didn't care to hear the backstory that the ice maker has been replaced once already. Today was the service call. The man comes in my home, I start giving him the back story, claims I am mad, which I am far from it, just trying to explain b cause he said all he could do was check the temperature and that it just just be the design of the fridge. The manual explains it can fill the bucket in a day and eventually the drawer. It does neither. I was trying to explain myself and he got up said he was wearing a body cam and was going to refuse service. This is right in front of my 2 small children. Tried calling them and of course no answer. Hoping the manufacturer takes them off their service list. Absolutely horrible. After looking at the reviews, clearly I'm not the only one this has happened to. Wow. Lowe's sent this company out to diagnose and repair a new refrigerator I recently purchased. Eggs were freezing in the fridge and I didn't know why. The two techs that this company sent were very unprofessional and rude accusing me of PURPOSELY FREEZING eggs and putting them in the fridge in order to get a new fridge. How freaking ridiculous. The technicians solution was to turn the temp of the fridge up a few degrees. The technicians mumbled under his breath as he left my house....why don't you read the manual.
