Avoid using this company at all cost. Customer service is not a priority. Blowing up your home warranty is.!

My home warranty send these people to fix my ice dispenser and my fridge door I thought everything was fixed I had great service at the beginning but once I realized the problem was not fixed I called them back and they told me I needed to call my AHW so I did it took forever for them to come back out. When he came back the tech was extremely rude and said we had to file a new claim cause it was a different issue. Clearly it was not. When I accused him of trying to pull a fast one he got extremely mad and said was going to sue me for slander and that he had it on on video while pointing to his chest and saying he had a camera. I told him to leave and called me an idiot as he was walking out. I reported it to my AHW. I have no idea how he is still in business after reading all these reviews. read more

This company was sent out to repair a refrigerator by the home warranty company. First I greeted the tech politely and all I got in response was I was called to come look at a refrigerator. No greeting in return or did he even let me know his name. Very rude individual that was constantly arguing. Trying to tell me about my water system which I know better than he does. Finally I had enough and told him to leave. Then he points to his chest and tells to look right here and speak into the camera because I was being recorded by a body cam under his shirt which I know to be illegal because you have to receive permission or at minimum disclose you are recording in private residence. I told I wanted it fixed but he packed up and left saying he was going to make sure my claim was denied. Guy is very rude. Sounds like he might be doing some illegal recording, and helps himself in your cabinets without permission. If I would have seen said body cam I wouldn't have had a problem because even they need to protect themselves but not undisclosed or hidden. I advise anyone to avoid this company at all cost. This company also goes by the name Allstar Appliance Repair. read more

0 stars! If I could!! Garret is under qualified, and overly rude. Reaching out to my warranty company to get this resolved.

How is this company still in business? Just read the reviews. They are spot on! The worst part is he is one of the warranty repair companies for Fisher Paykel. The fact that they would allow this man to continue service on their behalf is nearly as incomprehensible as Garrett's anger and arrogance issues. He was sent out to replace a damaged panel on a brand new dishwasher and went on and on about the poor install and improper water & drain line install that had been done. And that he was reporting this immediately to Fisher Paykel. There wasn't even a reason for him to be under the sink looking at all that when he was there just to replace the panel which is easily removed from the front. (To note the original install was done by a licensed Appliance Installer, who has been in business over 25 years) Garrett was definitely just looking to make a buck by insisting the original installer didn't know what he was doing. So sad this man lost his honesty and integrity somewhere along the line. At least I know he will never be given warranty work by the appliance store we purchased from again! read more

Had this company, that now goes by Allstar Appliance, come out for a warranty repair on a cooktop. Tech was rude and took a total of 5 minutes looking at it. Right away said the parts are on back order and it would be a while before they repaired it. I waited 2 months , got a notice from my warranty company that they said they completed the work and called them back asking why they said that. They said they still only had 2/4 parts and would call me when they arrived and that the warranty company automatically cancels claims after 60 days so they had to say it was done. A month later, still no parts. I called them back again and they said they had 3/4 parts. I asked them what the part number was that they were waiting on and they refused to give it to me. They said they don't provide part numbers to customers or warranty companies. I told them that practice seemed shady. The owner got on the phone and berated me for saying that. He threatened me that he was going to cancel the repair through my warranty company for saying that. I then told him to go ahead but I would need to contact the warranty company about them falsely closing the claim. He then told me the warranty company "automatically closes orders after 60 days" so they had no choice. Told him that was different than what they told me a month prior. He then said he was ending the call to call the warranty company to end the claim. After reading reviews on here it looks like that customer service or lack thereof is par for the course for them. read more

Holy crap this guy is sooooo aggressive. He came into our house and left within 3 mins all on camera. He yelled at me saying it wasn't covered by warranty yet I have an email saying it is. He then tried to remove parts and damage it more I told him to stop. I called the warranty company and then he called me on my cell from a blocked number yelling at me. This guy is not stable and very scary!!! read more

Run away. Like many of you I got stuck with this idiot (who keeps changing his company's name to avoid his miserable reviews). This piece of garbage destroyed my dishwasher last year along with what was apparently is his son. These 2 yahoos scratched the stainless steel. Dad had serious rage issues and the kid was incompetent. They actually got in an argument in our home. This kicked off a two month Battle with our home warranty company where they had to replace the door on our dishwasher. Runaway runaway read more

Our washer needed repairing, Garrett the technician came out same day and took his time to take the whole washing machine apart and replace the part needed. He was extremely polite and informative. He even took the time to answer questions about my dishwasher. Very reasonable rates and well worth it! I highly recommend this company and Garrett for your appliance repair needs! read more

The reviews of horrible are accurate. This company is rude on the phone . Know it all and know nothing. Assigned them to come to my home for a service contract. After speaking to the phone rep from their company , it was obvious that all the negative reviews were on point. Fix it yourself you will get better results. Even if you never fixed a refrigerator you know more than themRUN FROM THEM BEFORE THEY GET YOU ALSO! BEWARE read more

I am shaking!!!! I had to ask the technician to leave within 5 minutes of entering my home where I was alone.  Carl was very aggressive, combative and angry from the moment he walked in.  He sat in his van for 15 minutes before coming in (105 degrees heat).  Then he knocked on the door and I said "thank you for coming, I've been without a dishwasher for 3 weeks".  He dropped his tool bag, looked through paperwork and said "no, just since May 19th".  I got the impression I had angered him.  He then question who installed, Best Buy, "are you sure?".  He raised his voice and said installation not covered by warranty and he'd have to charge me....I said that was fine.  He went on a rant talking about the height of the plumbing, the hoses, the kitchen sink and bacteria.  I asked him to leave ... which angered him more and on the way out he shouted "Warranty Work Denied".  I called the office but it is just a girl's (Joey C Laguana) personal cell phone 623-414-1845.  I asked to speak to Carl's manager and she got heated with me as I told the story, she insinuated also that I was not telling the truth.  I asked for the name of the Company and she hung up on me twice.  Calling back didn't help because it is her personal cell phone.  I had to call Fisher Paykel because that's who set up the appointment and find out the name.  DO NOT BE ALONE IN THE HOUSE WITH CARL....very creepy, angry person.  Also, not a professionally run company if they are using their own cell phones. Also goes by name All Star Appliance Repair LLC aka GARRETT MUNGER. read more

Absolutely horrible and clearly rigging the yelp reviews with bogus 5 star reviews. Do not use this company because you will end up regretting it. read more

Technician told me that it would take 24 hours for my fridge and freezer to be working at full capacity. He was here on Wednesday afternoon and I called Friday around 10a because it still wasn't working at max capacity. The rude male said it would be up to 48 hours. At the time I was speaking to him, it was a few hours shy of 48 hours. So, when I said that he laughed at me. I kid you not....he laughed at me. I said, "I'm glad you think this is funny. I lost all my food and have been dealing with this for almost a month now, but I'm glad you think this is funny". Instead of apologizing, he started arguing with me! I said not to (bleeping) laugh at me and then this guy busted a gasket from screaming so hard. SOOOO UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! Calling my warranty company to tell them I don't ever want to deal with this company again. read more

Service was beyond rude about the schedule date. After getting hung up on they even closed our claim. Called back talked to the service manager and she also did nothing but escalate the issue. read more

"To err is human, but to err with emphasis is unforgivable!" - J&H not only lied about contacting me, even after almost a month, they did NOT fix the machine. Paul was rude and so defensive, he cannot seem to focus on fixing the problem. I called and asked about my invoice #, and that clearly is a trigger for him. Apparently they give you an invoice, but they don't track it by the #. The office lady who did that quit... I don't blame her... How would I know? Why would their back-office problems be my problem? After Paul hangs up on me, no matter, I call back and try again. The tech Kevin finally came out the next week, and he was very nice, failed to completely fix my machine, but very nice. The final blow was after he left, I went back a few hours later to check on it, to find water flowing over. The technician did NOT plug the pump back in. The ice melted (very quickly at first when the machine first comes on) and filled up the bin with water, that could NOT drain, because the pump was NOT plugged in! When I called Paul, he was SO defensive, and all he could do was, in some ridiculous way, try to blame me! I'm not the repair company. I'm not the repair technician. I'm not the one who bypassed the water pump. All emotions aside, the facts are, Kevin failed to reconnect the machine properly To make a mistake, and to be wrong, is human, but to be a rude unprofessional and try to put this entire service failure on me, is beyond comprehension. Paul, you cannot use rudeness or blaming the customer for incompetent service. read more

Garrett, the owner was amazing! He was on time, and actually early! I had to the handle on my microwave replaced. He came with the replacement and installed it within 10mins. That alone made my morning that much better. Great service and would totally recommend this company. Not to mention Garrett is extremely knowledgeable and cool guy. Great personality! read more

Wow, what an incredibly rude person! They received a claim through Best Buy to repair our fridge. But since the repair was scheduled for a day they were closed, they rejected it but didn't bother to contact us. When we called (because the last info we had was that they were supposed to be out and it was a no call no show), they guy was a complete a-hole right off the bat. My wife was very nice and nice the entire time on the call and even had to stop and say "woo it seems you're very frustrated, and maybe we should start this call over" in the first 2 minutes of the call. He hadn't even gotten the claim number yet. It's no wonder these guys have such a low rating. They're jerks! read more

I have home warranty & this company was dispatched for my Washer leakage. Turned out to be loose water hose. However technician was very helpful, thorough & explained some things to me. Highly recommended. read more

I was contracted to this business by the warranty company to repair my refrigerator. The man that I have had the misfortune to speak with, on more than one occasion, has been one of the rudest, and unprofessional, people I have EVER had to deal with. They had to order a part and never gave me any updates on the process. I had to deal with the warranty company directly to get any information about the repair. If you want to have prompt and helpful interactions regarding your repair, go somewhere else. read more

Both service tech's were very polite and got a pretty extensive fridge repair completed in under 2.5 hours!! They made sure to leave everything exactly as they found it, which was no easy task given the built in surrounding cabinets. They made sure everything was at the proper setting and in the "quick cool" mode to have everything back to normal ASAP. The owner contacted me directly and introduced himself while scheduling and efficiently communicated with my home warranty company to avoid any delays. Thank you J&H!! read more

Very rule and unprofessional staff! The only reason I am giving them two stars is because the first young man that came to fix my Microwave was very nice and pleasant, he gets a 5 star. I wish I knew his name. But they had to come back out a 2nd time and another guy called that has no business being allowed to speak with customer!! Very very rude! You wonder how people like them make money. Stay far away from theses guys! Declined them as a service provider if your warranty company assign them to you. They don't deserve any customer's money. read more

I would give zero stars if it were an option. This company was selected by my warranty company but I should have known better from the Yelp reviews. J&H has been working on a simple issue with my dishwasher for over a month so far. Unable to verify the part causing the issue with their tools and knowledge, they have been guessing and swapping out various parts. The technician who comes out is nice, but junior in his tenure / experience. The service manager is the worst; rude, brash, and completely unhelpful. Scheduling is typically 4-7 days out AFTER they have parts even working around their schedule. I now am going to a different service company and have been without a functioning dishwasher for over a month. Go elsewhere without a doubt. read more

Absolute WORST customer service, rude phone calls clearly don't care about the customers. Don't bother with this company as they won't show up anyways. read more

This company has tried to change its name to All Star appliance, likely to dodge their terrible reputation. The technician, who later reported to be the owner, physically and verbally threatened me. My 3 year old oven had its outer glass basically explode out and it electric. It was at 350 degrees. Bought from Spencer's Appliance her in Arizona they were my first call as we had a 5 year warranty. I contacted them and they assured me it was 100% covered and J&H would be there in 5 days to fix it between 8-5. At 11 or so I called them and they had no idea about it and said the warranty company scheduled it when they weren't around and the soonest they could see me is well over a week later. I was annoyed. Not as much as when they rudely said it wasn't covered and I'd be out of pocket $380 plus for freaking glass . Oh they also said part wasn't in and I'd need to provide my credited card number to secure the part though it wouldn't be charged . I don't think so. I don't know you and not giving that over the phone. We again we assured by warranty company it was covered and they even provided a support line for this company to call. The rude man I spoke with again said that in the end the warranty company wouldn't pay the bill. Not my problem! Don't be a provider if they don't pay you, not my issue. Not only that but this rude I will say person vs a cuss word said that what happened to my oven was impossible and it had to have been hit by something. I said no I was in different room and he aggressively suggested I was lying. If he was such an expert he'd have googled this is a major issue across the US and it's even gone before the Federal Government and it's across many brands. Once I found a respectable company they stated they have at least 2 of this issue a month . Stay away from this company . If your warranty company uses them demand they refer you elsewhere. read more

Worst customer service ever experienced. No urgency to help and whoever it is that answers the phone is extremely rude and short with customers. I've been without a fridge for a week now and his only response was "well you're gonna be without a fridge for even longer because we have to order parts". Unfortunately this is who Lowe's uses for there service contracts leaving me with no choice and no better options. It's already stressful enough having to deal with a completely useless fridge and on top of that I have to deal with terribly sub par customer service from an obviously disgruntled employee who does not enjoy his job. read more

Called to have the address fixed because Lowe's had it wrong. The guy who answered the phone was rude, said we would've canceled anyway on you, because we're booked. Chose a different repair company. Before I hung up he wished me luck in doing so, thank you for the advice read more

Worst service I've ever experienced in my life. My mother called to get an estimate of to just come out and take a look at my refrigerator and the receptionist was rude and unprofessional. At that point, mother decided not to make an appointment with them and they came out anyway. They showed up for the appointment, after my mother declined their services, when the technician left the owner decided to give me a call and harass me because we declined their services. The owner lied and said that my mother confirmed the appointment the day before and also gave a bogus story about recording the conversation between my mother and the receptionist. I would highly recommend staying away from them! read more

J & H Microwave - Appliances & Repair Near Me - Goodyear, Arizona

We dealt with Lowe's Protection Program for a refrigerator that needed repaired. They gave me this company and told me they wouldn't be able to come out for about 5 days but they would contact me with a time the day before. I decided to call just to verify and to see if maybe they would come out sooner. This man was HORRIBLY rude. Told me he didn't accept that job and it was 108 degrees and they are very busy....he had a horrible attitude. RUDE RUDE RUDE!!!! Do NOT contact this company!!!! read more

The home warranty company sent J&H's Garrett to fix my microwave. He seemed to know what he was doing and got the microwave working again in about 30 minutes and tested the that it worked three times before he left. He was not impolite at all. The worker that showed up after waiting 2 months on the parts, smelled of alcohol. Called my husband a "A******" when he ask him to leave our home for disrespecting it. He stated he owned the company and told us we would wait another 2 months for more parts. He made a mess and told us we had to clean it up. When we asked how do you expect us to do that? He said "I'm not cleaning that s*** up." Our Grandmother and our 6 children were in the room. We then asked him to leave our home. He then walked up to me an asked if there was a way he could work it out as he put an arm around my shoulder. I almost vomited once I smelled him. He smelled of alcohol and cigarettes. I then started to yell at him to get out our house. For someone says he owns the company he sure acted like a teenager. If your on the fence about this company, JUST SAY NO THANKS. Your better off. read more

Trashy mediocre microwave and refrigerator repair company. Don't trust them to do any work. They broke my refrigerator and made it worse.

My warranty company called them to fix my washer due to a thumping sound it was making and , somehow my warranty company stated it was not working but it was, the tech tried pulling out the tub and even had his helper from the truck come in to pull it out stated that the soap can make it stuck and even after removing a couple coins and a sock from inside the walls of the machine he said he can still hear scrapping and will need approval from our warranty to get it taken apart for further looks. I did ask him can I still use it and he said yes. We went to use it and it was not functional at all. Neil I think is the name called me said that the warranty denied further repair since it was not normal ware and tear of machine but user error, I was like I was able to use it before though. My warranty did give me an opportunity for a second opinion and to find out my washer needed 3 items that were extremely bad, that this tech from J&H couldn't find cause the new tech took the side panel off and was able to examine correctly. I did call leaving a message that my Fing dryer was scratched and dented, his tech supposedly took a picture with a bunch of stuff on my dryer that I had yet, when he left I only had my box of dryer sheets and bottle of spray n wash on my dryer, if there was anything it would be clothes cause we don't place things on it, either way once I said I was going to place a negative report, he said go ahead and he will see me in court and he has more money than I do, like really? and why? I have a right to post my experience as he has a right to protect his company. I was going to leave it alone but I stand up to bullys. read more

I am writing a five star review based on an experience our family had with technician Garrett. We have a fridge repair that a previous company completely botched. After three times of them coming in, our home warranty sent over a new company, J and H. Garrett was friendly and professional and quick to identify what he think may be the issue. Problem is, the previous company had made the problem worse so per home warranty policy, they needed to return to remedy their mistakes. We were so upset as Garrett was much more upfront and clear about his plan of action he would take to fix the fridge. In addition he even assisted us with taking a peek at another appliance the the previous company had mishandled. He followed up with the home warranty company on our behalf explaining what a mess the previous company had done. Additionally, he followed up with us later that afternoon to explain the decision from the home warranty company and offer us advice on how to proceed. He did not need to make that call, but he did. He went above and beyond as a professional and we will be reaching out to his company for any problems we have in the future with any appliances. Thank you, Garrett! read more

Our home warranty (Old Republic) sent us to J&H...what a joke. Fast talking, interrupting, not showing up and when questioned no show pretending not to have an appointment. When rescheduled did a quick fix and in only 7 weeks microwave has very same problem. Garrett was knowledgeable and very open and honest when I brought in an older GE Profile microwave that had failed. Diagnosed that the root of the problem was a failing control board which had caused the magnetron to fail. He said that although he could replace the magnetron, the control panel is no longer made. Replacing the magnetron would probably work for a while but the problem would likely reoccur. There was no charge even though he spent at least 20 minutes investigating and explaining the problem. read more

Horrible experience with this company ,specifically Garrett, that was sent to repair the water and ice maker on my LG refrigerator by Lowes extended warrantee company. First he VERY rudely told me, I installed the wrong supply hose and that was the problem. He disconnected it and Water ran fine through the hose. I told him 2 years ago Your company installed that hose when you installed the appliances we'd purchased from Lowes. Called me a liar. Next it was the new filter That I'd installed after the problem first started. Guaranteed, That will fix it. I told him I've used that filter for 2 1/2 years with no problem. P/N is Recommended in the owners manual. He said he's been doing this for 30 year and knows what he's talking about. He left and said call to let them know that the filter fixed the problem because he had other calls. Long story short. trip to Lowes and a $50.00 filter didn't fix the problem, Of course not, When I called them back, Garrett went off on me, I told them not to come back to my house A%@ H*^e, I'll get a professional company. I discovered, he had sent a report and flat out lied about our encounter, and after several phone conversation with the Lowes extended warrantee folks that this is the ONLY appliance repair company that they have in my area of AZ. SHAME ON YOU LOWES for not reading reviews and screening companies you send to our homes.... Still no water, no Ice on my 2 year old $2500.00 LG refrigerator. read more
