Wow - this place (and the care) is great. The environment is clean and inviting. The available open…read morehours are very accommodating. (They offer late appointments, so even if you get off work at 5, you still have time to be seen.) But best of all - the care and treatment you get here is incredible. Before I came here, I visited chiropractors, doctors and masseuses to help relieve my back pain. Although they tried different techniques, nothing really helped. Then my rib area started to hurt, almost unbearably at times, and I was tired of spending time and money on treatments that weren't working. Someone recommended trying a physical therapist. I found Advanced Physiotherapy and made an appointment to see Mag (the practitioner). The first visit was almost miraculous. The pain went down by about 70% and Mag gave me some exercises to do at home. I was actually able to sleep through the night, for the first time in years. After the third visit, the pain around my ribs went away completely. That was three years ago. Now, anytime I have pain anywhere (shoulder, back, etc), I go to see Mag. I point to what hurts, and by the time I leave, the pain is gone. I recommend Advanced Physiotherapy to anyone who mentions they hurt, and everyone always raves about how great their visit went. All of that BS on top of the horrible parking situation where you'll pay $50 a month to get parking tickets, disgusting locker rooms, constant early closures and broken equipment. This is the only facility with hydro rider- a spin class in the pool. It fills up fast, so call and reserve a bike, and bring your own towel. Cansler is a great facility and the Y staff is very friendly. On my visits, it was not as crowded as my usual Y and parking was not a problem. It's a shared lot with O'Connor Senior Center and there's an overflow lot across Jessamine. Just remember to bring your towel as they don't have towels. I highly recommend Cansler if you are looking for a fitness canter

This is the primary location where my family works out, takes fitness classes, and swims/does…read moreswimming lessons. We love that there is both an indoor and outdoor swimming pool. The family membership is affordable and worth it if you have young children who can utilize the child watch while adults exercise. There is a great variety of group fitness classes to meet differing interests and fitness levels. We really enjoy the swimming lessons as well. We have done private, semi-private and group and they really helped our kids with water skills and confidence. Lessons fill up quickly, so start checking mid-month for the next round of lessons to spring up on the website. This location isn't the most modern or well-kept. There seem to be lots of issues when it rains, and the layout is very strange. The small-ish workout/weights space is accessed by first going downstairs and then back up another set of stairs in the back of the building. There is also a musty/moldy smell that kicks up our allergies at times.

Unfortunately this location is very poorly managed. It's a shame because the facilities are pretty…read moregood, but the schedule may as well not exist because it is rarely updated/accurate. On six separate occasions I have not been able to do my planned workout because the area which was scheduled to be open was not open. So few gyms have this vital piece of equipment! It doesn't matter to me if a machine is 15 years old or so - if it works fine, I've got no issue. I'd like it if the gym was open later in the evening, but for the most part, this has not presented any issues for me. I can go to this gym, and in about ninety minutes, I can get a thorough, full-body workout and go home, shower and get on with the day.

I never went back never signed a contract or received anything from the gym except for fees being taken from my account, tried for months to reach the manager nothing happened, finally I was able to catch up with him, I was shown a contract with copied and paste signatures and told that he wasn't sure what happened and he could possibly get me half of what they took!! Yet to receive anything two weeks now, personally I wouldn't even entertain the thought of joining this gym very shameful how their business steals money and the contempt of the management is poor relations.
