Given the uniformly perfect scores and highly favorable reviews Loupe Digital received, we decided to try them. The photo is a panoramic one. We explained we wanted only that shape in true colors. James listened carefully and understood exactly our concerns about the panoramic shape and true color quality of the turquoise shades of sea, the sky and the sand. We chose the exact size for the true color prints from image sizes he displayed on his computer. We selected one that was just right. In consultation with James and Michael, we then chose the frameless acrylic frame in which the print would be sealed. We got the framed print back today. What we got far exceeded that: it looks and feels like we are back there. It's a fantastic panoramic true color print in a sealed floating frame. We expected very good. I am doing some freelance work for a production company and they are utilizing the massive and…read morepretty darned awesome Parlay Studios as their studio set and temporary office space. Overall this appeared to be a giant warehouse and when I asked more about the facility was told it used to be a storage company. The video is being shot in a sizable room (of which there are a few others) while we are working with the crew and office team in a different space that we have all to ourselves. This allowed us to remain closer to the video crew and talent. I can say that there are also smaller cubicle sized office segments in another section for remote work and meetings but those were all occupied by different clients and the team I was with was very mobilized. Ample parking is available in a connected garage and there are other sections of the building where load-in of larger gear can be done. There is a provided WiFi signal throughout the entire building but each has a section based on their size. As I explored I saved every signal since my work involves me walking around and I didn't want to be offline a second. While most productions have their own catering brought in Parlay does have a small coffee shop where patrons can order a beverage. This cafe is not complimentary though to my knowledge. It is a very well lit space as well which is good for productions that prefer natural light on set. There is also a kitchen area if you need a microwave or refrigerator and washer for items on your set. A pleasant bonus and hey, they have the room so why not. There are plenty of bathrooms and they are quite clean. Another bonus IMHO. The staff of the studio was excellent from the front desk to management that we encountered and while I don't see myself being here as a client filming or recording, I encourage those in my media world to look into it if they require such things. There is branded swag around the facility like pads and pens which I asked to take along with me since I always need that but I didn't see any smaller hand-sanitizers with their branding. Nowadays this is never a bad thing to have on hand for people. I can't quote prices but I am sure they are worth it based on observations. If this kind of place is what your ideas need to be manifested in the real, give them a call. Safety Precautions: All visitors must have their temperature checked and wear a wristband to enter and masks are a must wear situation no matter your vaccination status. If you don't like either of these things you are not getting into the facility.
