I requested a quote to have it fixed. They said there has been a change of ownership at the company and they don't have any records of my original order. I sent them the info I had. It took months to get a simple quote back and then they told me the sign is too old to fix. They said they could re-do the lettering. So I said that's fine. How much would it be just the lettering? Again, no response for weeks. I have emailed and called with no response. They must have caller ID because now they just hang up when i call. Needless to say, the company has become extremely unprofessional and obviously it is not the same company I dealt with before. The one guy who I spoke to on the phone said I needed to talk to the boss who was out visiting a client. I still haven't heard back. Now I need to find another company to fix their installation. Probably if you're a big company they will prioritize your business but if you're a repeat customer or small order, do not expect to be treated professionally. A shame really.

I called all the numbers I could find and no one picked up. So if you need attention to detail, maybe that's not your spot. The address listed here (32 Grand Ave) is the address of a box store, and the person working there explained that he gets multiple people every week coming in asking about the sign shop. I have hired these guys on at least 4 or 5 occasions. A few things:…read more - they are not the cheapest, so probably not your choice for doing a small banner or something very simple. - they are good for large and complicated jobs that I had to do for my clients (light boxes, lit led letters, multiple signs etc) - they are an actual shop. In other words I have visited them multiple times. They have a large facility on first floor and office upstairs. They are not outsourcing your work. - you CAN negotiate. This is brooklyn after all :) and you can negotiate in Brooklyn. - speed - well they are not the fastest, because they are busy and in a typical Brooklyn style customer service - they will sometimes tell you that ;) Having said all that - the jobs that they did were always of very high quality of workmanship and in the 5 or so years I have been retaining their services they did not let me down and have any of my clients complain about the quality (complain about speed :) yes that happened, but at the end they were happy).

Please do not use this illegal company for your signages. They are a nightmare!!…read more They are running an illegal business operation. They do NOT have any professional state licensing of any sort to be able to conduct these jobs. They are putting up illegal awnings and storefront signs without any permission from the city of NY and NJ. The signs that they are hanging up do not follow any of the city zoning regulations, which means you WILL get inspected by the DOB and if you do not have a permit to provide them (which you won't because this company isn't a NYC licensed sign hanger company therefore unable to legally do a job) you will get a hefty violation from the city, these violations can go as high as $10,000 not to mention after the fact you will have to hire a LEGAL licensed sign company to help you obtain a the permit that this company should have gotten for you to begin with. In total I had to hire a licensed architect, a licensed general contractor and a licensed sign hanger which cost me thousands of dollars to be able to obtain a permit. I also reached out to Kim the owner to request help or at the very least some sort of refund for all the emotional distress and financial burden she put me through and this woman is not only misleading, dishonest, unprofessional but a GREEDY woman, she did not help me in anyway, did not care of the burden she bought upon me and refused to give me any sort of compensation for all the damages she has cost me. She also kept ignoring all my calls and would hide behind her workers.

It progressed with a visit to the business to examine and select the needed signs and notice display case. (Isaac laid out the various options without any high pressure tactics). The experience ended with Isaac carrying the display case to my car. (I could easily have carried my purchases but Isaac insisted). This is a brief description of my experience, but what is not discussed is that this business (Isaac) believes that the customer is always right.
