Terra Inc. just completed clearing approximately 2 acres of our property in Shingle Springs and…read moretheir 2-man team did an EXCELLENT job! Dan came within a very few days after I contacted them and gave me an estimate back in August. He told me that they would be in touch as soon as we received enough rain to make the clearing process safe from fire danger. Right after we got rain in October, the lead contact Mauro called me to get an appointment set. He was really great about staying in touch with me before and after they arrived, and updating me of their progress during the job. He's a real pro with the masticator machine! His partner, Shawn, worked with a chainsaw to limb up most of the trees we kept and he cut all the downed trees that were too big to munch, into nice log sized pieces and stacked them neatly near the base of the trees. Mauro did a final "walkthrough" with me at the end wanting to make sure I was truly satisfied with their work. Needless to say I was! They accomplished in ONE day, what would have taken me months, if not years, to do. The shredded material is nicely mixed with the top layer of soil and should compost quickly and return all those great nutrients back into the earth. It cost me less than it would have to hire goats or sheep for clearing, and I expect it will stay clear MUCH longer. It's great to finally be able to reach all 4 corners of our property! Thanks to the whole Terra Inc. team. You're awesome!

Everything was done in a very timely manner, and I was very impressed with the professionalism. Also, it seems like the prices were extremely reasonable, considering the amount of work that was done. We plan on just using them every year so we don't have to worry about it. I couldn't be happier with my experience!

We had Grey's Window Cleaning come out on Saturday to wash our windows and they did a fantastic…read morejob. They sent a crew of 3, Jack, Jaxon and Forrest, and they were all terrific. They washed the windows inside and out and carefully removed all the screens and put them through the scrubber machine they brought along, and our windows and screens have never been cleaner. This was a much better experience than we had with Squeaky Clean windows a few years ago, when they sent one person who proceeded to jam a screwdriver through several of our screens in order to lift the clips to take out the screens. After that, he only gave them a cursory wipe down with a towel and put them back on again. This was after he declined my offer to help him remove all the screens!

But, after that, we had an extremely hard time communicating with him by email and a tough time nailing down the timeline, even though we were extremely accommodating. Then with less than 24 hours until his team was supposed to start work, he canceled and informed us that his insurance policy did not allow for condos. (Note, he had visited the site in person, seen it - it is clearly a condo!) We are now potentially set-back in our schedule by weeks, and have no idea how much this will cost us. In summary, extremely unprofessional, and ultimately, costly.

PG&E would come out and cut down dead trees, but just leave all the branches and logs... I tried for months to get them to remove them and constantly worried about fire hazards... I was so concerned about the cost to remove them along with being able to access them. I met with Drew and not only did he give me a good price, but he also repaired all the damaged asphalt and plumbing caused by multiple trees on the property. he completely restored our plumbing and water pressure and set us up with access to multiple outlets to ensure safety from any fire! He also got really creative and made several walkways with the pine trees that we would never have thought to do. I've truly never seen somebody so dedicated and persevere with such a difficult project and even helped to create a vision we did not have....

Hear me out on this but Drew caught me off-guard at first as he was and is one of the most down to earth people i've had the pleasure of meeting and working with. I must admit I was a little skeptical just because I come from a place where not everyone still treats others so well and everything is about the bottom line. Drew got me a timely quote; we negotiated a bit here and there on what work was to be done and agreed to proceed. Drew was good about communicating when he would start, stop, arrive, if i approved the work, he offered insight and advise you name it. I cannot recommend him enough and will recommend him to anyone in need of excavation work. The work was very solid Thx again Drew and Josh Paul

They provided a quote and started working on the project within 1-2 weeks. I think this was super quick, given summertime demand for new construction. I really appreciated that they took time to explain detailed options to me when there were different ways to accommodate the slope in my front yard. The quality of work was great, I think it was a good value for the cost that was a bit less than the other two quotes we got for the project. I also want to mention that they didn't increase the project cost at completion, either! It was the same that I was quoted initially.

We hired Chapman Landscaping to landscape the back and side yards of our West Sacramento home…read more While the initiall interactions were timely, the overall job quality was completely shoddy. The crew came during evenings and nights and worked with flash lights. It was just a side job for them. The original designs for planters and fire pit were not followed and our multiple requests were ignored. We now have an uncontrollable weed problem as they just threw the weed cover on top of the untreated soil and not properly secure the cover. We now essentially have to redo much of the work and incur significant expense again. It was a considerable amount we paid for the initial landscaping project. We couldn't be on site to constantly monitor the work due to some health issues. We are completely disappointed with their work and will not recommend them for any landscaping projects.
