The morning HES and crew arrived, I had second thoughts on removing a certain area of my Satillo tiled deck and tiled patio. Haney was so understanding and explained that he'd start on the concrete and enclosure removal to give me time to see/decide when they get to the deck portion. This put me right at ease. When his crew arrived, they got right on task, like a systematic work plan. This was so reassuring for me (i've had my share of disappointments in the past from contractors.) HES crew delivered. "THANK YOU". They did such great work and sure know what they are doing. This crew worked so hard and worked practically nonstop in the HEAT. They had a positive vibe which was nice to see while doing such hard work. THE JOB / was to demolish a large patio with thick concrete patio, remove a partial patio enclosure and Saltillo tiles on a large upper deck area. They also had to saw off tiles for a sewer reroute to be accessed and coordinated this with the sewer contractor. They are truly 5 star fantastic team. Im happy i found HES. Plastic was hung to protect cabinets and dry areas. drywall had to be removed to prevent mold. All this was done in a very professional manner. All of my belongings were carefully, professionally packed up for safekeeping. The old hardwood floors were removed. New floors were installed, drywall was replaced and walls were painted. Then all of my belongings were put back where they belonged. All of the contractors worked hard and did a great job. To boot we had travertine flooring throughout our hose that could not be damaged as it would be next to impossible to ever match it well. We interviewed five contractors searching for the one that would not disappoint. We had other mold remediation in other properties before and learned that the well-publicized national contractor (think green trucks) was not going to take the care we needed on our home. A-1 Pro was incredibly responsive to our challenge. They were always very professional, reliable, efficient, and very, very clean. The area in the woods had a ton of debris and they did a good job all things considered, though small flaky pieces (think broken down cardboard and plastic scraps) did remain - but the reason for still 5 stars is during discussion/quoting they set correct expectations. They let me know that this may happen as they don't do any digging. It appears they raked but it was in weeds and loose dirt so without digging all this debris could not be entirely cleaned up. I had gotten a few quotes and their pricing was straightforward and reasonable (not absolute lowest) but communication was above the rest and the execution was as or better than expected! If I need more hauled off, I will certainly use them again!
