Izu is our go-to local sushi spot - as evidenced by all my photos! Whether for delivery or dine-in (preferred), we haven't gone wrong. Dine-in: great, friendly service. Lots of seating options including a table out front on Main Street. BYOB, which is great! Food: Always fresh, occasional specials, and everything is tasty. I have lunch at IZU Sushi once or twice a week. The food and service is always top notch. I usually have the sushi/sashimi combo. Always fresh and full of flavor. The service is always great. Ben and his staff always provide prompt service (always with a smile). Nice soft music playing in the background is very pleasant. It's also a plus that Lansdale has 12:00-2:00pm free parking. My favorite sushi place of all time! I always compare every piece of sushi I ever eat to what I get here. I have to start out also by saying the service is incredible here and so consistent. As for the food, if you come here once, you'll probably become a regular. My favorite is the mango dream roll. You can't get that anywhere else! I wish I had a picture, but I'll have to grab it next time. I think I wanted to eat it so much that I couldn't wait to take a photo. But, truly everything I get here has been fantastic. It's one of the few places around that every member of my family can agree on is a good place for dining out! Major credit to them for having such a diverse menu while also including a ton of options for someone who doesn't eat fish. Love love love Izu!! It was Christmas day and we were desperate for something delicious for dinner and we were so lucky the hardworking staff at Izu was in. The Party Platter with all the special rolls ($90) was delicious! It had everything we wanted except Shrimp Tempura, which we just ordered more on the side. Their Shrimp Tempura rolls are INCREDIBLE - I've been to so many sushi places but this is the only place that gives TWO tempura pieces per roll. It was amazing. Their seaweed salad is also great - and the quantity is twice that of any other sushi place. On top of everything, service was extremely quick and they were so friendly. This has become my go-to sushi spot since Covid started! I've tried MANY of their rolls and have never been disappointed. My son is a fan of their sweet potato tempura and salmon rolls. Fuji Morning is a favorite of mine because it's unlike anything I've had from another place. If you're looking for a vegan roll, I recommend the Veg Mango Dream. It's a little sweet from the mango sauce on top but balances well with a little soy sauce. If you like spicy, get the Angry Dragon Roll and do not skip over the honey miso sauce! It's so refreshing. The Volcano Roll is another great spicy roll as well. The Sunflower Roll is unique and delicious with a little sweetness to it, so eat it toward the end of your meal as a dessert roll. I order from here a couple times a month and highly recommend Izu Sushi! read more

Decent vegetarian sushi, but I wouldn't call this the best I ever had. They have lunch specials, but the miso soup was awful. We ordered one of the vegetarian lunch specials (can't remember which one) and half of it was just awful. The actual sushi rolls were fine. Some friends brought take out from Izu to my house on Friday. The shrimp shumai and the pork gyoza were very good. The teriyaki steak over thin lo mein noodles was fantastic. The steak was sliced thin and was very tender. So far everything is great. The fried rice was a let down. It was a bit soggy although it had a lot of chicken in it. I stopped by Izu Sushi for lunch on a weekday. They have a variety of lunch special options ranging from sushi roll combos, bento box combos, and a couple sushi assortment (raw). I ordered the 3 roll special ($12.50) and a hot green tea. The total came out to about $15. Overall, the taste was ok. It was passable considering there's very slim pickings for sushi in the area. With several casual sushi spots around the area, we have always gravitated towards Izu. Fresh ingredients, good rice to fish ratio and always properly packaged and delivered. I normally go for the basic rolls, and my wife generally gets the nigiri or sashimi. They are probably the best we've had in the area. While it wont beat out some of the fancier or pricier places in the city, it really is a great spot. I'd stay away from kitchen dishes if you are ordering delivery as everything cools down and gets soggy (if fried). read more

After her greeted us we ordered drinks and he came back without drinks asking for our appetizer order so we put that in and it came out 5 minutes later... we still had no drinks on our table and appetizers came out first... not great. food runners just brought everything out and no one ever really checked to ask if everything was good. took a long time to get appetizer olates removed and even longer to longer to get our servers attention to order rolls. eventually we ordered and it took 25+ minutes for food to come out. The rolls were good yes but we were over it by then. A century later after hunting someone down we were able to order dessert and again took a while to come out and took even longer to get the check. the server was nice but there was only like 2 servers on a Saturday night so i think if they had more servers the whole meal would have been great.
