Excellent environment and excellent food. Customer service was excellent as well and she made sure that we were taken care of. 10 out of 10 and I would definitely recommend to anyone that want some great food read more

Nice atmosphere. Good sushi. The very young waitress was sweet but didn't know much about the food. There are never many people in there. I've only been once. Need to go back to review the place. read more

This place advertises itself as a pub with homemade sushi and "Best sushi in town, made to order" on the sign, but the reality was rough. When we walked in, it felt less like a sushi pub and more like a low-budget, ghetto-style joint: bright Walmart lighting, cheap tables, zero atmosphere. We were the only people there during prime dinner time on a holiday when everywhere else in town was busy, which should've been the first red flag. There was only one sushi chef, and our waitress was... a lot. She had this jittery, strung-out vibe, was overly hyped about random things like grocery stores, and clearly didn't know the menu at all. When we asked questions, she couldn't explain basic items. Overall, the whole experience felt sketchy and confused, like the place couldn't decide what it was trying to be. Definitely not somewhere I'd go back to for sushi or for a night out. We left when she disappeared to ask about a common saki order. read more

My partner and I have gone to this place on several occasions. We got one of the to-go menus and now go straight down the list when we order our rolls. We mark our favorites but we HAVE NOT found a single roll we have not liked. They are fantastic! If you like cooked, try the Golden, raw may I suggest the Lil Devil. The eel-tastic is also great and I don't even like eel. You will not be disappointed. Go during happy hour and also grab a lychee spritzer I believe it is called,.. so good!! Service is awesome, everyone is so pleasant, very nice atmosphere. read more

Izakaya Sushi Pub - Bulgogi Roll, Eel-Tastic, and Golden - Izakaya Near Me - Biloxi, Mississippi

They don't have bento box, but that's what you get on a plate. Very good teriyaki, pay the upcharge for the fried rice, you won't regret it. I always get the milk tea and have never been disappointed. Service is always been fast and with a smile. It's a pub with a huge bar and nice table surrounding. Everything is made in house including the excellent yum yum sauce. I definitely recommend. read more

Omg the crab Rangoons were so garlicky! They were incredible! I'll be eating here again for sure!

Just driving through Biloxi and thought I'd stop somewhere and eat at a local restaurant. I found Izakaya sushi pub. As I entered, the ambience, and the layout was very open, relaxing with some music in the background, but not too loud to disturb your conversation. With TVs throughout the restaurant, you won't miss a minute of the game. Service was excellent. They waited on me right away very friendly very helpful with the menu. They let me know what some of the favorites were, everything I tried tasted delicious with great flavor, and everything was very fresh. If this restaurant was in my hometown back in California I would definitely stop here and eat on the constant. read more

Izakaya Sushi Pub - Crunchy Roll (back), Awesome Roll (front) - Izakaya Near Me - Biloxi, Mississippi

This was probably the worst sushi restaurant I have ever eaten at. My wife and I eat sushi quite a a bit and decided to venture out to try a new restaurant. Instant regret. First thing, my wife and I always order is a squid salad and it is a pretty standard taste no matter where we've ordered it. There squid salad was rancid and smelled like urine. We sent both back and they still charged us for 1 of the 2 we sent back..... none of the squid salad was eaten so we asked to not be charged for either. The waitress said she'd ask and then still charged our card for 1. My wife's sushi roll did not include all the ingredients that were listed on the menu and nothing was fresh. Please save yourself the disappointment and eat somewhere else.... read more

Five stars why? Customer service is top notch! Everyone welcomes you as you walk in. They are always happy to offer recommendations as their knowledge of the menu is very good. If you don't want something as part of the entree, they will accommodate to your needs. Happy hour starts at 4pm daily BOGO free. This excludes draft beer, but all other alcohol is a go. My wife and I have tried just about all of their specialty rolls and have enjoyed all of them. We have not tried any of the desserts they offer, the selection they offer looks good. Maybe one day! Dine local, enjoy.... read more

Izakaya Sushi Pub - Delicious - Izakaya Near Me - Biloxi, Mississippi

Sign said they were short-staffed as we walked in, but nothing could have prepared us for the service we received. The place was almost completely empty at 6 pm, on a Sunday. After placing our order, our waitress sat at a nearby table and no joke: 1. Picked at her face 2. Picked her nose 3. Put her fingers in her mouth She was also really clueless, and we had to ask for plates and chopsticks once the food came out. Then we asked for soy sauce, and she didn't understand what we meant by that? We said "like a bottle of soy sauce and some dishes" and that confused her even more. Next time, hire someone who has eaten sushi before and doesn't pick at themself in public before serving food. Disgusting. read more

Izakaya Sushi Pub - lunch special, not including my soup! - Izakaya Near Me - Biloxi, Mississippi

This place is extremely good for lunch! Can't beat the price for the amount of food you get. The egg drop soup is some of the best I've had in a while. The service is quick and attentive. The lunch crowd has been pretty light the few times I've visited. read more

My daughter and I were traveling through Biloxi and craving sushi. I did some research, and this restaurant kept popping up for the best sushi in the area, so we decided to give it a chance. We are so glad that we did! Everything was extremely fresh and delicious. Stand out was the snow crab "tower" appetizer, which was crab, tuna, avocado, and jalapeño. read more

Went for lunch today at the recommendation of a coworker. Excellent food and service, decent prices. We will go back for sure.

First try when they just opened was terrible. We gave them some time and tried again, SUPER! The food was delicious, service impeccable and the atmosphere very agreeable. We hope they keep on doing well read more

We have always loved eating here but have have found it closed at random times making it impossible to know when we can eat.

BEST SUSHI IN THE SOUTH! I love sushi and have had some great sushi in Seattle and San Diego, but was really struggling finding a good sushi place in the south. Well my prayers have been answered and a sushi heaven has been found at izakaya. Go for lunch and get not only great sushi but also at a GREAT PRICE! You get two house rolls for 9.95$ and it comes with a soup. The roll I had that blew my mind was the rainbow roll! The fish is so fresh! I always judge a place by a piece of salmon. This salmon didn't disappoint, being buttery and delicio. I did go back for another lunch and had the chicken katsu which was good and filling with all of the sides (egg roll, dumplings, soup and salad) for 8.95$, but I would recommend the sushi! Update: brought 6 of my friends and this time the portion sizes were much smaller and they were out of the chopsticks lol (ate sushi with our hands as forks are impossible to use with sushi). Still very tas read more

This place is awesome! I really enjoyed the environment and the sushi! My party was seated right away and the staff are loving and friendly. The only thing is I wish the drink menu had more of a selection. Overall great place to bring friends and family . read more

Izakaya used to be amazing and our go to spot, but it just keeps getting worse and worse each time we go. I got pho tai tonight for takeout. The beef pieces have progressively gotten smaller and less quantity over the past year or so. I did not receive a soup spoon, siracha, or hoisin sauce. We received literally two napkins on a very large order. My pho had (and I'm not exaggerating) 1/2 of a jalapeño and about 2 pieces of green onion. I'm so sad because Izakaya is close to home and used to be our go to spot when we ordered out. read more

This is a hidden spot in the city of Biloxi everyone should try. My family & I visited earlier this week and we're pleasantly surprised because it had an awesome ambiance with music playing and great customer service. We ordered sushi, Korean beef tacos and salmon. The food was amazing!! My wife had some hot sake & I ordered some green tea, both were exactly what we needed. I'm excited to try more items from the menu Great service from the staff & the Kimchee Udon was tasty too. read more

New favorite sushi spot!!! They have 20 % off sushi happy hour EVERYDAY 2-5!! The service is fast and friendly. Our waitress was personable and helpful when it came to questions about the menu. I order an appetizer of fried calamari-which was delicious and crunchy. My food came out quick and was obviously fresh. I had a multiple sushi rolls that's were raw so it's easy to tell if it is fresh or not. The vibe is nice, i wish it was more dim lit and cozy-with more of a pub feel but other than that i have 0 complaints! read more

Best sushi place on the coast in my opinion, the Japanese cheesecake is excellent, service is on point. I love this place.

Good and cost is very very good. The ambiance of the place however is horrible!!! Will return for just a quick meal never dinner.

Went at around 4 or so in the afternoon, and the restaurant was completely empty so we were nervous. However, the food was delicious! Serving sizes were nice, food was good quality, and the service was decent. Prices were somewhat high, but not unexpected for sushi. Overall would come back! read more
