This place advertises itself as a pub with homemade sushi and "Best sushi in town, made to order" on the sign, but the reality was rough. When we walked in, it felt less like a sushi pub and more like a low-budget, ghetto-style joint: bright Walmart lighting, cheap tables, zero atmosphere. We were the only people there during prime dinner time on a holiday when everywhere else in town was busy, which should've been the first red flag. There was only one sushi chef, and our waitress was... a lot. She had this jittery, strung-out vibe, was overly hyped about random things like grocery stores, and clearly didn't know the menu at all. When we asked questions, she couldn't explain basic items. Overall, the whole experience felt sketchy and confused, like the place couldn't decide what it was trying to be. They don't have bento box, but that's what you get on a plate. Very good teriyaki, pay the upcharge for the fried rice, you won't regret it. I always get the milk tea and have never been disappointed. Service is always been fast and with a smile. It's a pub with a huge bar and nice table surrounding. We mark our favorites but we HAVE NOT found a single roll we have not liked. They are fantastic! If you like cooked, try the Golden, raw may I suggest the Lil Devil. As I entered, the ambience, and the layout was very open, relaxing with some music in the background, but not too loud to disturb your conversation. With TVs throughout the restaurant, you won't miss a minute of the game. Service was excellent. They waited on me right away very friendly very helpful with the menu. They let me know what some of the favorites were, everything I tried tasted delicious with great flavor, and everything was very fresh. This was probably the worst sushi restaurant I have ever eaten at. My wife and I eat sushi quite a a bit and decided to venture out to try a new restaurant. Instant regret. First thing, my wife and I always order is a squid salad and it is a pretty standard taste no matter where we've ordered it. There squid salad was rancid and smelled like urine. We sent both back and they still charged us for 1 of the 2 we sent back..... none of the squid salad was eaten so we asked to not be charged for either. The waitress said she'd ask and then still charged our card for 1. My wife's sushi roll did not include all the ingredients that were listed on the menu and nothing was fresh. After placing our order, our waitress sat at a nearby table and no joke: 1. Picked at her face 2. Picked her nose 3. Put her fingers in her mouth She was also really clueless, and we had to ask for plates and chopsticks once the food came out. Then we asked for soy sauce, and she didn't understand what we meant by that? We said "like a bottle of soy sauce and some dishes" and that confused her even more. Not only was the food absolutely delicious but they had a large menu and several options with dishes i have never seen before!!! our server was absolutely awesome and we're greeted by the owner and he was so helpful. Izakaya used to be amazing and our go to spot, but it just keeps getting worse and worse each time we go. I got pho tai tonight for takeout. The beef pieces have progressively gotten smaller and less quantity over the past year or so. I did not receive a soup spoon, siracha, or hoisin sauce. We received literally two napkins on a very large order. My pho had (and I'm not exaggerating) 1/2 of a jalapeño and about 2 pieces of green onion. You get two house rolls for 9.95$ and it comes with a soup. The roll I had that blew my mind was the rainbow roll! The fish is so fresh! I always judge a place by a piece of salmon. This salmon didn't disappoint, being buttery and delicio. I did go back for another lunch and had the chicken katsu which was good and filling with all of the sides (egg roll, dumplings, soup and salad) for 8.95$, but I would recommend the sushi! This is a hidden spot in the city of Biloxi everyone should try. My family & I visited earlier this week and we're pleasantly surprised because it had an awesome ambiance with music playing and great customer service.
